We eat there at least once every year when on Marco. The food is always excellent, the service fantastic and the vibe very comfortable.

This place was recommended to us by a local for some great seafood. It did not disappoint. We came in on a Friday night and ordered a couple of drinks to start along with calamari as an appetizer. It was all delicious. For dinner we decided to order fried snapper and we were recommended to share because the ones they had were very large. I was very thankful for the recommendation from our waiter because it would've been far too much for me alone. So I shared it with my husband along with a few sides that were also delicious. We had mofongo and platanitos. 10/10 recommend this post for anyone in the condado area or san juan needing a good seafood spot! read more

Food was above average and fish very fresh . Prices are well above average . Ambiance is about as good as you can do in a shopping center with no view. Service was friendly to start , but as the restaurant filled up it was obvious the wait staff and kitchen were scrambling to deliver . Our wait for entrees to show up was far too long at 90 minutes . There was clearly some problem , but twice we were assured our food was coming right out. 30 minutes later the entrees were delivered and the waitress was embarrassed and apologetic as I expressed my disappointment about the wait . What I think was a manager then came over and tried to explain that the order was received at a time he precisely stated which seemed odd to me and I informed him I did not want to get into a debate, but that there was a problem that needed to be addressed . Marty was an amazing server. Delicious cocktails, even there mocktails were delicious!! Marty and another gentleman recommended the lightly breaded yellowfin tuna over an amazing risotto; so light and flavorful!! Marty also recommended the swordfish piccata for my daughter, as she has never had swordfish, she absolutely loved her meal. The strawberry crisp was so healthy and different. In our experience there was in no way that this restaurant deserved the rating it holds on yelp. My lobster was brought out, cold and overcooked. My wine glass stem was sticky and there were little fruit flies flying around our food. read more

Discovered this place last time we were here several years ago. Happy to find the food was still excellent. I had cobia with risotto which was the special - very good! My husband has swordfish piccata which was also very good and plentiful, our waiter was very attentive - service was excellent. Recommend a reservation this time of year! My new favorite place in Marco. Bar service was friendly and drinks wre were a nice pour. The food here is simply delicious. Service was spot on. Goat cheese appetizer over a bruschetta-like tomatoes was great. I ordered the snapper and it was the best piece of fish ever. Cauliflower risotto, squash risotto, and lobster roll appetizer all were tasty. My boyfriend got the pork chop which was huge and yummy. My other friends got the lobster tails which they inhaled. My only complaint would be the calamari which were grilled and tender but lacking in flavor. I can't wait for my next trip back to Marco Island (October) so I can return here again. read more

One of my favorite restaurants on the island. Absolutely perfect. Great staff, nice ambiance, exceptional food and great bartenders/mixologists. Wife and I had the daily special, filet of Triple Tail. Wife had it simply grilled with seasoning and grilled vegetables. I had it as recommended on the most deliciously creamy risotto with gulf shrimp and a brown butter bet side sauce. My wife had an off the menu grapefruit juice spicy Paloma/Margarita. Desert was amazing, a fresh blueberry/lemon zest crisp with a toasted almond crust and a scope of vanilla ice cream. Absolutely delicious. My wife also Gad the Espresso Martino which was also superb. It's in a strip mall and has that strip-mall-restaurant ambiance, but it's fine, it's good, we enjoyed our food and our experience. Specifically: Mini lobsta' rolls - butter poached lobster, sweet corn, chipotle aioli - good, but the excessive aioli was too distracting from the lobster. The king crab (one of the specials this night) - not much to the eye, but it was king crab, right? Hard to ruin unless the crab is too salty and/or too old - this was neither. Though I asked more than once, I do not remember the name of the fish for the fish special of the night. It was seared perfectly and sat on a slightly mushy risotto with bits of shrimp. Unrefined on the eye, but tasty, though I left most of the risotto on the plate. The seared Florida black grouper was another perfect cook on potato gnocchi, artichoke, prosciutto, lump crab fricassee, and reggiano soubise. This was golden, pretty, and tasty enough; though I, like the Italians, don't think any form of cheese does its best near any form of fish. The beef tenderloin carpaccio comes with truffle goat cheese, dry tomato, capers, and arugula. Unlike some of the other dishes, this plate is designed to be stylish to the eye and the result is a bit busy to the eye. I also found the truffle oil unnecessary because all truffle oil is unnecessary. This was liked well enough by the person who ordered it. The corn cheddar risotto cake was also liked by the person who ordered it, but I found it boring. For dessert, we all found the bread pudding to be a fine finish. In toto, the meal was a good one and service was very good. 3.5 rounded up because it would be a bit too picky to round down from 3.4. read more

Love this place, but when the waitress is giving a litany of the specials, she should tell you how much it costs. It is embarrassing to ask the cost of a special, when you are with guests.To find out that the crab legs were $74, to me was a unwelcomed surprise. When we went to the Oyster Society, we paid less for that, and had so much crab that we were able to take home. We were really disappointed with this sort of fleecing. The rest of the entrées were really really good, but going forward, we will be ordering off the menu, unless we know what the price of the specials are ahead of time. read more

4.5 Stars Food was excellent and so was the service. I had the Swordfish and my wife had the Dolphin, and both were great. The sides were also very good. We had the risotto and it was enough for two. Dishes are pretty big and filling. The dessert was also excellent. Wine and cocktail menu is pretty diverse and there is something for everyone. The prices are also reasonable for what you get. Well they have very good food but watch out for the up selling The service is attentive and friendly but they up sell you at every opportunity. They push their special but don't tell you the price. I should have asked. My bad! We had as apps the Kobe beef sliders which were fantastic! Perfectly cooked and tasty as hell. We also had the prawns also good but not as good as Kobe. Then we went with the special. Three tail fish. It was $35. No mention of that. Said it was sweet flavor. No! But to be fair it is as well prepared and the pasta that came with it was really good. But the fish was mild and didn't have a defined flavor. If you like flounder you might like it. So it is a good place and I will be back but more careful about what I order. The room is very nice. Asparagus with Serrano ham, a poached egg and white truffle...absolutely fantastic - very clean tasting...Paige had the heirloom tomatoes and goat cheese - also amazing... Dinner was a Rare Ahi tuna on a miso portobello glazed jasmine rice - hoy shiitake mushroom...that stuff was outrageous... I had the Jumbo Sea Scallops which were amazing...the white truffle buerre - I kept fantasizing about pouring that all over biscuits and poached eggs, or souls vide eggs...sensual... WOW. I ate there for the first time last night and was blown away by the black grouper. Everything was cooked perfectly from the appetizers to the main course.
