Just a stunningly beautiful fall day, the air starting to crisp. I arrived before my party. Promptly served water & menus. Friends arrive and we order lunch specials. The food was fresh & rolls were delicious. I look forward to our next visit. A+

The cutest spot for a sushi date! I love how quaint and cozy Fin is. We walked in without a reservation, which on a weeknight worked out totally fine for us. I wouldn't recommend coming here with a party greater than 4 people, because the space is on the smaller size and most tables cannot accommodate more. The staff working was so welcoming and attentive, it really elevated the entire dining experience! I started with the spicy miso soup. The kick is no joke, but on a cold winter night it was perfect! I was a little surprised it was so jam packed with vegetables as most miso soups are mainly broth, but I enjoyed it overall. The edamame was standard but delicious nonetheless! We ordered a few generic rolls like the California crunch and crunchy spicy tuna! Both tasted fresh and delicious. We also tried the honey walnut specialty roll. I had high hopes for this but the flavors let me down a bit. I would give the specialty rolls a try again in the future, but probably not this particular one. Overall we had a great time and I'm sure we'll be back!

The perfect hidden neighborhood spot!! Met a friend for a well over do dinner!! We sat outside on their patio! Service was great, our server helped us decide between rolls, ambiance was chill, food was delicious!! Our bill was beyond reasonable!! Highly recommend the bacon wontons and the spring rolls!! So yum! FYI: it's BYOB!!

Fin Sushi Bar is a sushi staple and neighborhood favorite in Ravenswood! I've come here quite a few times to dine on the patio and each time I've loved the twinkling lights, fast service, tasty food and great prices. Whether you're grabbing a quick lunch or having a more casual date night, Fin Sushi Bar is a great option. It's BYOB, so bring your drink of choice or try the delicious snd sweet Thai Tea. Even better, it's rare that you'll need a reservation. The sushi is fresh, the teriyaki is grilled to order and they have the crispy and golden tempura that you'll definitely want to order. The only dish I've tried at Fin that I didn't care for was the fried calamari as the large size of the calamari made the bites very squishy and a little distracting from the taste. My boyfriend and I come to Fin often and you should too!

Good gawd, I was not prepared for the creativity and freshness that these rolls provided. Tuna. Garlic. Butter. New favorite words strung together.

This place is awesome! The sushi and food are delicious and the prices can't be beat! BYOB makes it even more affordable. Worth the trip if you don't live in the area. Never a bad meal here. The outside area is so charming.

Haven't been here in about a decade, but today it really impressed me. Outdoor lunch setting was beautiful and the sushi was completely on point. Everything was excellent and the prices were great. Will definitely be back!

This place was so cute! The outdoor patio is great because it's a nice quiet street. The food was amazing. I had the veggie trio roll and loved it! There's not always good veggie options for sushi but this was amazing. The fried tofu was so crispy and the sauce it came with was perfect.

Absolute go to sushi delivery in Andersonville/Ravenswood. Food is always consistently great and usually deliver early.

My only critique is the pacing. Since the chef already had the fish sliced and prepped, I expected a smoother flow, but the meal took about an hour and a half for 14 pieces of sushi. It felt a bit slow, especially for a lunch service. That said, if you're looking for a reasonably priced omakase with quality fish, this is a solid choice.

Both were great. Our bartenders were lovely and very friendly. Found out this is a Malort tasting room and we were able to sample some different Malorts (the cocoa one was good!). Then we were taken back to our table for dinner. Our server was super friendly as well. Started with the miso soup and crispy tuna bites which were probably my favorite dishes. The taki yoki fritters weren't bad either. We saw people getting omakase, so we ordered a yummy looking piece they were receiving. It was just okay (chutoro truffle). The nigiri was also okay. The tuna piece was the only I really loved. The fish quality wasn't as high as I was expecting. The sushi was decent. A little too much truffle in the spicy blue fin tuna and a little too vegetable forward in the hamachi serrano. All in all, the atmosphere and amazing service pushed this up to a 4 for me.

The only one not for me was the salmon roe, I'm not a big fish eggs gal Minus trying to talk to one of the chefs about his background in sushi and him not giving two shits about chatting with me I'd say this was still a 10/10 experience LOL and I wish I could go to omakase on the regular
