The more senior waitress waitress to our table was better after she realized what was happening. (We had two young children at our table who were getting hungry and restless!) Food was fine. I ordered the Cajun Benedict, which didn't taste particularly Cajun. I think it was just the andouille sausage that made it Cajun. The portion size was good, and it tasted fine. My kid ate a few slices of her pizza as well, which is a good sign. Overall, just an okay experience. I'd return but not going out of my way to do so.

It was burned again although not as bad. The server explained it was from the burned residue on the grill. We both ordered seasoned potatoes. We were thinking maybe saltier? No, it just meant they sprinkled a few specs of dried herbs. The worst part is, it was a recooked potato and it was heated up on the same black grill!!! Maybe they should consider cooking with a type of oil that has a higher smoking temp. I think we'll risk our dinner money elsewhere.

The tacos had this incredible balance of flavors, spicy TENDER chicken with jerk seasoning & sweet pineapple mixed in, and whatever else they put in there just made them insanely flavorful. There was a long line, no available seating, and we eventually learned that some guests were bringing their own chairs. We were even asked if we had chairs in our car--which we didn't. Had we known the setup beforehand, we would have come prepared. It was a bit overwhelming and felt disorganized, so we ended up leaving without getting a seat or trying the food. That said, we ran into several friends who were there, and they looked like they were having a great time, so it's clear the food and atmosphere are worth checking out. We're chalking our experience up to the holiday crowd, possible short staffing, or simply unfortunate timing. We definitely plan to come back on a regular day because we're still looking forward to trying the food for ourselves.

I didn't catch his name, but the long haired boy who sat my family and I threw our silverware on to the table; and I mean quite literally threw it on to the table. I made it a point to watch him sit a couple other families and he didn't repeat the gesture. I should mention we're a black family. Nonetheless, our server was a very nice lady throughout the whole meal, so she was tipped well. I ordered their sportsman burger. While it looked great, it didn't taste as good as it looked. They used a cheese spread which definitely isn't for me. The quality of the meat and buns was great, however; and my family found their meals filling. This is definitely more of a locals joint, but definitely worth stopping in for anyone if you want some St. Louis style BBQ. The brisket platter was the best - big portions, 2 sides and 2 pieces of garlic bread. The Jalepano Mac and cheese balls are awesome, so much flavor. The salmon platter was also very tasty and fresh. The live music is fun (but loud), and our waitress was nice. Overall, if you what BBQ and are in the area, this is definitely worth checking out.
