One of the best restaurant in town. I love their food and presentation. Especially appetizers, drinks and desserts. Services here are always amazing, especially their waitress Ling Ling. My husband is a bloody mary and bacon connoisseur and he loves thier bloody Mary with jalapeno vodka and extra crispy thick bacon. Our server was fun and polite and extremely efficient. We started off with their Mac & cheese and Brussels sprouts!! Incredible!! For dinner my daughter and her boyfriend both had their amazing made to order Lasagna with garlic bread!! The flavors were Devine, fresh basil, peppers,onions baked to perfection!! I myself had their wonderful fresh Sea Scallops with a balsamic reduction with bacon, fresh avocado and pink grapefruit with risotto!! My Scallops were cooked to perfection, lightly seared. They melted in my mouth. I pared my Scallops with an Alma Rosa pino Grigio. Absolutely exquisite! For dessert they brought us there S'more pot de creme and the banana shake!! Again incredible!! Popped over to Finch and Fork to see what their Thursday night special was and it happened to be "pork and cork." The "pork" of the week was a grilled pork chop with an apple/sweet potato mash and asparagus. I inquired with the friendly staff at the bar (was making an order to go) to see if the "mash" had cinnamon in it (I'm allergic). So he wanders back to the kitchen to find out and then comes back shortly to break the bad news. The "mash" has cinnamon in it. But he offers to substitute it with sweet potatoes and to keep the asparagus. So, I go for it. And I also ordered chicken fingers with a side of fruit and a kids Mac and cheese for my 2yr old and hubby. Let me just say the pork chop w/bone was super juicy and not the least bit dry. The veggies however were quite charred-see picture. The kids chicken fingers reminded me of something from the freezer, but the Mac and cheese was definitely home made and deelish. When I'm in town, I would definitely come back for the pork chop and Mac and cheese and ask for my veggies to be less charred. read more

I came here for dinner and realized it was located inside the stunning Canary Hotel. I was really impressed by this beautiful hotel property. It had a special old world charm which reminded me of Paris. The restaurant ambiance is just as lovely and inviting. For a hotel restaurant, the food is outstanding here. My only wish was a wider variety of menu choice. I ordered the rainbow trout paired with pan roasted spaetzle, crispy pork, citrus butter baby spinach & shaved fennel. The fish was cooked beautifully and had a nice subtle taste. I also enjoyed the complimentary pickled vegetables. A good, healthy alternative to bread. I came here with a group of 12 for brunch during my Bachelorette weekend. Ling Ling was our waitress, and she was incredibly impressive - she handled all of our complicated orders, she engaged me about my wedding, she literally stood up on multiple chairs to get the best angles of us for a photo opp, and she gave us complimentary desserts (THAT WERE SO DELICIOUS)! One of the best dining experiences we have had in quite some time anywhere. Curtis, our server extraordinaire, really made it a perfect evening. The chicken pot pie was very average in taste, the pastry on top was good, so certainly not worth 25$. The other main course was the duck breast on vegetables, Duck taste was ok, i would not have cooked it medium rare, since its poultry carries certain bacteria, again not worth 34$ !!!!. What an incredible place! I recommend booking a reservation but we were looking for a last minute dinner spot and stopped in. We sat at the nice bar area until a table was ready. We ordered the brussels sprouts as an appetizer and they were amazing. We followed that up with a mac'n cheese that was pretty good and the spare rib which was absolutely delicious (so tender we didn't even use our knives). Last thing, each time the waiter took our order the food came out really, really fast. It seemed like it was only minutes between ordering and food delivery. While babysitting with grandsons in SB, we decided to get a nice lunch while the kids are in school. Finch and Fork was a great find. Oysters on the half shell were delicious, though not pristinely shucked (too many broken shell pieces left behind). I ordered deviled eggs, which I considered among the best I have ever had. Egg whites had a red tint, and contained bits of crunchy bacon, spicy thin pepper slices, and a touch of greenery on top. I had butternut squash soup, which was slightly sweeter than I usually like, but still creamy delicious. My wife had tortilla soup which she loved. Decor is quite homey but upscale with lots of wood and leather. Service was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. Better shucked oysters and I would have given this place 5 stars. read more

The portions had nice ingredients but were smaller and slightly pricey, but that's expected for a Kimpton Hotel restaurant in Santa Barbara. Was lucky enough to randomly find this place while on vacation in California. Man oh man! Anything, and I mean anything in the menu is a taste bud home run! Even the pickled vegetables they bring to your table while you're waiting for your food is amazing. Those pickled vegetables were so good I asked for seconds. Seating was cool, a bench and two chairs. Butcher block table. Very interesting menu. Too many options to try everything we wanted. Took a long time to bring our food.
