Good all around food. Prices are great. The wings here are a must have on gamenight. Order with finnagel sauce. If you stick with food items that you would find in most bars then you won't be disappointed. If you're looking at some of their higher end items ie fish, steaks, you might regreat not just getting a good old fashioned cheeseburger. read more

I wish I could rate this restaurant even more stars honestly. I was having such a rough day at work and my sister and I decided to order a late lunch from them as a treat- low and behold when I go to pickup the order my car battery is dead. I called them to cancel the order fully prepared to pay for it but they were nice enough to just go ahead and cancel it no fee. Then, 2 minutes after hanging up with the most friendly girl I get a call back that she explained the situation to their manager and they would be willing to have one of their staff deliver the food to me (they don't offer delivery normally). I love Finnagel's. We come there every St. Patrick's day and on many other days. Their food is pretty good. I love their taco salad but I don't really care for the taco shell. I also like their Mozzarella sticks and the sauce that comes with them. Best of all, I LOVE their peanut butter pie--it is the best dessert. read more

Finnagles is a great local bar and restaurant in clinton. It's a fun place to go with friends. The food is great and the Finnagles wings are the best around! If you live in the area you will always run into someone you know there. I've done takeout a few times and haven't had the best experience but dining in is always perfect! read more

I'm new to this area and was looking for a bar with good food and drinks. I was a little nervous exploring this place alone but was pleasantly surprise. I wish I got the bartenders name she was extremely friendly and nice. The food was amazing exceeded my expectations! The crowd is friendly as well the people around me made me feel welcomed. Food was pretty good here and the atmosphere was live. Many locals from the area probably come here because its a desolate area and everyone probably knows this place. I was here in Clinton NJ buying a used motorcycle and stopped here before my 72 mile trip back to NYC to load up on good food and drink. I was not disappointed. The double jack and ginger ale my wife ordered nearly put her to the drunk tank which meant they give good drinks (it was 1050 for the double) and my beer was nice and cold as I like it. Stopped here on a whim on our way home from the Poconos because we were starved. It was around 430 on a Tuesday when we walked in and it was seat yourself in the bar area. It was pretty empty when we walked in save for probably 5 other people, but the pub side was basically full by the time we left. Nothing fancy, but was very clean and smelled amazing because of the happy hour wings set out for customers. We didn't drink, but beer list looked standard. The wings were delicious and they were sitting over a stern-o so I'm sure fresh out of fryer they're even better. Not sure what sauce they were tossed in but it was the perfect hot sauce. Would definitely get them as an app if we ever returned. I had the French onion soup and it was perfect! The cheese was burnt and crispy on top and it was wonderful. I had the Finnegal wrap with fries and it was pretty good, just a standard breaded chicken wrap. S had a French dip and he really enjoyed it but it was pretty sparse on meat so he took the upper bread off and folded the bottom in half. Overall very pleasant experience. Finnagel's is a Hunterdon county staple for a long time now. I was their day one when it opened and have been going back ever since.The Tallmons (owners) run a good show and will make it right by the customer every time. After reading some of the reviews and being a business owner my self I highly doubt that any concerns were ever brought to the owners attention because if it was it would have been corrected immediately. I think the food is the best around and the food is as good as it gets anywhere. Wings, nachos, burgers, steaks no body does it better ! Whenever my family goes on vacation the first stop on the way back from the airport is always finagles just as long as there open. read more

I have been here many times over the past few years since Tiff's closed because there are so few options for sports bars in Hunterdon County. I would stop here with friends to grab a bite to eat after softball because food was decent. My issue is that the beers are so expensive and I won't go back anymore. $6 drafts is abusive given the type of bar and location. read more

I am in this part of Hunterdon Co. a few times a month and enjoy stopping at Finnagel's for a delicious bite. My favorite sandwich has to be the Portuguese Chicken. The grilled chicken is marinated in Balsamic so it's juicy and full of flavor. The chicken with the roasted red pepper, mozzarella, lettuce and tomato makes the perfect bite, satisfying and delicious. I love how you have quite of a few options for sides. I tried their Tito's Blackberry Mule on my last visit and all I can say is Wow. Too bad my friend and I had a time restraint or else I would have definitely ordered another one and relaxed on a stormy Sunday night. I will be returning. read more

More like two and a half. Came for lunch on a weekday and got a wrap and a cocktail. An orange blossom I think it was called. The menu says it's made with absolute but honestly it tasted horrible. I drank it anyway whatever it's a bar. Or server pretty much acted like she didn't care if we were there or not, I think her name was Emily and we had to ask there was no introduction. She just kind of left stuff on our table. At the end we asked to take our food to go and we got two tiny foam boxes on the table. Again no big deal but we had most of our food left we needed bigger boxes. I went to ask for a bag so that the boxes didn't leak in my car and she told me there were no bags of any kind anywhere. I said I just don't want this to leak in my car and the hostess overheard and got me a bag. Weird. read more

We tripped into Finnagel's on our way home from a shopping trip after several other places were closed. We had the best experience! The draft beer selection was solid - I like IPA's. Sam 76 and Stacy's Mom were on draft. We all had hot sandwiches. The pastrami and Swiss is something I will surely crave in the future. We will definitely be back!
