There are plenty of outdoor tables for sprawling out for hours with your pals, plus they have beer, wine, and cocktails to suit everyone's tastes. There are also a handful of food trucks in the back as well--BBQ, fried chicken sandwiches, and tacos--perfect booze pairing food, am I right? + Key word: summer. The amount of space at Finn's is drastically reduced when the patio is shut down. While they do have a little fire pit outside, and we are Coloradans, sometimes it's just too dang cold to sit (and sip) outdoors. There are only about four or five tables inside, so if you're looking to sit down and stay awhile, plan to do during the summer months (or one of this not-so-rare summer-like days we so often get between snow storms). + Key word: afternoon. I have visited Finns manor a few times. I would love to give it 5 stars but unfortunately there's a few things that keep me from doing so. Pros: love the food truck set up. Its a unique and fun take on having selections all in one place. The outside patio area fun atmosphere. Cons: the bar is small and the wait is pretty long. A lack of seating for large crowds. I really enjoyed my time here, and it was far different from what I initially expected, even after checking out the pictures and reviews on Yelp. Came here after drinking at some of the breweries nearby. We walked around the open space for a while, before settling down in the bar area and managing to grab a table next to the bar. There isn't too much outdoor seating, but the open space definitely makes you feel less cramped. The open space is pretty cool, and it's nice that they have a few food trucks there, including BBQ and even Thai food. The crowd is pretty hip, as the concept seems to attract the younger crowds, and everything is super casual, and the offerings are fairly unique. We had already eaten beforehand, so drinks were our first priority. I got an old-fashioned at the bar, which was a bit sweet for my tastes, but the pour was definitely generous, so I can't really complain about that, heh. Service at the bar was very attentive, although there was a bit of trouble managing the crowds, and the bartender got a little frazzled. Nonetheless, he was very friendly, and got our drinks and check to us very quickly. Prices are very reasonable, and they do have a good selection of cocktails and local beers. Okay so I give this place 3 stars for the fact that it's cool and laid back and there's never too long of a line. However, this establishment spews liberal propaganda on every inch of their bar. I get that Colorado is more liberal, I've grown up here my whole life, but never have I seen such obnoxious liberal bull shit shoved down people's throats. I complained to some of the employees last night, told them if they want to keep all costumers, they need to show both sides of the political spectrum. Also, bar tenders are extremely rude. I have gone here a few times, and each time has been great! I love all of the food options that are available, but I wish that all of them were there more frequently. For example, I was really hoping to get some Lumpia from the Filipino food truck (Pinoy Pride!) but was disappointed when I found out they were closed once I got there. I loved the vibe at Finn's. The only knock I have on the place, was that they didn't update their taplist before my visit. I went for a particular beer, but it wasn't there. Thankfully, the bartender made a great choice when I gave her the two that I was interested in. I love places that don't have a corporate feel, and this place fit the bill. Great bar, but my review is for Twans burgers. Waited over 45 minutes for 3 burgers and saw other people behind me who had orders get their food. Asked them where our order was and they responded by saying, "we are going as fast as we can, but we can give you a refund." It's not even super busy, but they skipped over our order clearly and were just being d bags about it. Decent smash burgers with a side of bad attitude is the norm i guess. But i don't support this kind of treatment especially when Antwan was so cool when he first started out. Then my friend walks over to them (her order was gluten free) and she literally saw the guy move her order to last after all of this!! Finn's Manor is one of my favorite spots in RINO for many reasons. The bar area/indoor seating area is pretty small, but roomy enough to handle the nighttime crowds passing through on the average weekend night. The side area is semi outside, covered and heated, but still not fully inside. The back portion of the side area is where the food trucks/carts are. I have been told the food service rotates, but I have always seen the BBQ truck, a steamed bun truck, and a Philippines truck. My friends have experimented with all the trucks, but my go to is the BBQ. I personally think it is some of the best smoked meat I have had in Denver too. My go to is brisket served in a bowl over mac'n'cheese! As for the inside, the bar is known for cocktails and beer selection. Finn's Manor is one of the best cocktail bars I have been to in Denver recently. I usually get some sort of whiskey cocktail, bartender's choice, and try one of the 20 taps of craft beers on tap. I like Finn's Manor on a random weekday night. A night where the bar is uncrowded and the bartender has time to make idle chitchat with me while I peruse the cocktail list. I like the weird, winding layout of Finn's Manor. A place that I think used to be a house? And is now just some open rooms where you find pockets of people hanging out. I like all the outside space at Finn's Manor. Especially now that summer is here. I like the food truck options because I like most of the food our Denver trucks put out. But, most of all I like the Blood and Sand cocktail they make. After I had my first one I spent the next few weeks asking for that cocktail at every bar and restaurant I visited. Very few of them could make it and of the ones that did make it none made it as well. The bartender told me he used tangerine juice instead of plain orange and perhaps that is what made all the difference. So, even if I liked nothing else about Finn's Manor I'd go back just for that cocktail. Luckily there is so much more for me to enjoy. read more

Finn's Manor is a great example of how businesses are keeping the funky/weird/old feel of RiNo instead of bulldozing and building new. Finn's used to be someone's house and garden..they simply gutted the house to expose the awesome brick and put a really nice bar inside. At the bar you can get very well made craft cocktails or some delicious craft beer. Outside in what used to be the garden is a very large patio area with plenty of seating/standing room. There are also a few food carts there for when you get hungry. I particularly like the BBQ one..the brisket chili is awesome! This place rocks and is unlike any other in Denver! When you walk into the bar, you feel like you landed in New Orleans when seeing the red brick, epic liquor collection, and decor. Out back has a very open and wide seating area with space for 5 food trucks. My friends and I had a blast going inside for drinks, and eating food outside since the weather was so nice. The atmosphere is very colorful and upbeat and great for socializing! One of the best parts of the night was when my dad walked to the bar. Robert Sickler (one of the owners) was making drinks and my dad asked Robert to make him any kind of drink with burbon in it. Without hesitation, Robert made up a drink off the top of his head and served it to my dad. It was INCREDIBLE! My dad said it was the best cocktail he's ever had in his entire life! It had a taste of aspen or pine or something. Whatever it was, I loved it, and I hate burbon haha! Absolutely cannot wait to come back here. I have been to Finn's many a time and I absolutely adore it. Every time. It'll get pretty darn busy on Fridays and Saturdays. And if the weather isn't nice, you may want to pass if you don't get there early. The actual bar itself, the only part inside, is rather small with very limited seating. But the outside is where there's magic to be had. A (semi-rotating) cast of food trucks will keep your rumbly tumbly happy (May I recommend Night Shift when they're there, you won't be disappointed) and a surprisingly awesome Beer list in addition to what I roughly calculated to be 45,000 different whiskies and bourbons to satisfy your booze intake port. It's fun and weird and cool and a little out there but it's a blast. Patrons are always enjoyable, I've met some friends and always had fun chats with random strangers, and while the bar can occasionally be a bit on the slow side, the 'tenders are friendly and fun folk who always have a suggestion or recommendation. What a lovely little bar. It's the kind of spot you want to hoard for yourself. I almost don't want even want to tell you about it, but...it deserves to be talked about. This funky, fun spot offers both a great indoor and outdoor vibe. The inside bar is dim and homey, and the bartenders are as friendly as can be. The outdoor area is a vast, and open. Their is ample patio seating, but an open area in the back with heat lamps and a roaster. I have only been there during non-prime times, so it has been quiet and nearly empty. We popped in late Saturday afternoon this past week and greatly enjoyed our visit. The location is hard to miss as the outside is brightly coloured, and there is ample street parking. We found that there was tons of seating outside, though inside is definitely limited. Tricky as it was pretty chilly out and there were no heaters going outside. Our bartenders were very helpful and I liked the cocktail and cider choices. I went for the margarita and tried the playa del rino. My husband tried two beers and then had a whiskey cocktail with a super tricky and long name. The cocktail won him over. We'll absolutely look forward to returning, though perhaps on a warmer day. I found this cool little place last night when we were roaming around RINO to find a place to eat. It's a cute little place with several food trucks sharing the same space with a bar.. So there are maybe 4-5 different food stands.. and some seating areas outside.. a bar inside.. and a smoking area as well. The outside area is all covered, so it can still be an option for y'all in some rain/snow (not a Colorado blizzard though). I'm not sure if they bring in different food trucks.. the night I was there, there was Thai food.. steamed buns.. Jamaican.. and Filipino food. I can't remember the last truck there... My friend and I decided to try the Jambalaya from the Jamaican truck. It came in a rather smaller bowl with cornbread. I thought it wouldn't be enough food, but with a 16 oz beer, it filled us up hehe :) It was pretty good.. not the best jambalaya i've had.. but it was very savory and went very well with the corn bread. With just the food and drinks, I would give this place 3 stars, but I like the overall idea of it.. everyone was eating and drinking, talking and laughing, and having a great time. Stopped in again Saturday night for drinks & dinner. Drinks were good, but it was a little difficult for me to find something to eat. The 3 food trucks were primarily serving all meat dishes. Being a vegetarian isn't so uncommon these days. There was one dish between all three trucks I could order.. the kimchi tofu which I did end up ordering. I was so hungry, I really wanted to like it but it definitely fell short. Insert sad clowny face.. The tofu was essentially slightly warmed up and, crumbled with a light schmear of the kimchi sauce on it. It was really disappointing. We ended up leaving and going somewhere else to eat. I really wanted to like this place but was more than a little disappointed. Both me and my friend ordered the Melon Mule and only took about two drinks of it before giving up. I am going to chalk it up to the bartender having an off night. I've had plenty of Moscow Mules and have never been as disappointed. As for the feel of the place I really liked it.
