Went to il Fiore for a post Valentine's date. Number one is always ambiance, and il Fiore did serve! It's so cozy and romantic inside which I can appreciate. Our waitress was super sweet and attentive. The food... not bad but not great. The short rib dish was a bit too sweet. Nonetheless, I enjoyed my time and I'll be back for another date night.

Went here last night for a cozy date night on a very cold night. It was a lovely and quiet on Tuesday. The food was delicious. We started with the focaccia with whipped ricotta and prosciutto. Both of us ended up ordering steak and it hit the spot! Sides: charred carrots and brussel sprouts. Both were good but our fave were the carrots. Drinks: Cashmere Sweater and Mt Etna were yum. I would save the Mt. Etna as an after dinner drink. But I loved the smoky rum flavor notes in it. Some of the negative reviews below are way off imho. I'm glad I didn't follow the advice of someone complaining about refills and the size of an ice cube in a cocktail glass

Located in a strip mall mall- I was amazed when I walked in and saw the decor. High ceilings , big modern bar, modern classic decor , I heard was designed by the same designer of Autograph Brasserie, White Dog Cafe and Rosalie. The ambience was low light with. Angle lights at the table and modern rock in the background the blended well with the decor and vibe of the food and customers. The tabletop. Plates and glassware and cutlery well matched the decor and vibe as well. The bio of the chef I read is also remarkable -- Maria trained under Solomonov ( Zahav) and worked on Vetri projects. The menu is 1 page but covers a wide vanity - antipasti, mix green ,Caesar and beet salads, homemade pasta, chicken parm, branzino and chops ( steak , pork chop) and pizzas. This is not a traditional Italian style cuisine - - modern techniques and ingredients Food was delicious and service was friendly and efficient. I will be back for dinner and may be have a drink and bite at the bar either my friends- I love the modern vibe a food! My only disappointment was that we were seated in a regular table vs a comfortable booth/ being it was my wedding anniversary. I get it we got the last reservation on open table for 5:30. When we left at 7 the place was packed.

Overall I'd say it was overpriced for the portions and quality. My friend ordered the Margherita pizza and the server said the portion would be really small and she should get more stuff. The pizza ended up being actually pretty big-- definitely enough for one person. I ordered the short rib and onion cappelletti and the portion was tiny and I did not get a warning. My other friend got the crab ravioli and it was also tiny. Considering how expensive they were I was annoyed to be leaving hungry. And the fact that the server didn't seem to have menu knowledge because she wrongfully warned us about the pizza and not the pasta portions. Things my friends and I ordered Short rib and onion cappelletti: 2.5/5 The few bites on the plate were delicious, but I was done in one second. I'm also not an overeater at all and usually take so long to finish my food so that's saying a lot. It had a really good sweetness about it without being too sweet so that was cool. It also tasted like handmade pasta which was good too. Bolognese: 4/5 Delicious and actually a big portion. Good sauce to pasta ratio. Good amount of parm. Crab ravioli: 2/5 Nothing crazy, tiny portion. Margherita pizza: 3/5 Nothing crazy-- very average Also got wine which was extremely overpriced

This place is beautiful. The staff is very nice and it was a great atmosphere. I went there for lunch and it wasn't busy at all so service was very quick that day. The food is good. I would need to go back to try other items on the menu to say if I love this place or not but I would recommend going there. Keep in mind parking may be an issue but that is due to the location rather than the restaurant itself. I had to park elsewhere and walk over.

Focaccia, cheese, prosciutto

Terribly disappointing in every way. Unless you want to spend a fortune for mediocre food, this is not recommended. Let's start with the focaccia with ricotta and prosciutto. We were told about the chef who makes this wonderful warm focaccia with ricotta and prosciutto. The focaccia came out room temp to cool in temperature with tasteless cheese and prosciutto. Not even a knife to cut it so we hacked it apart with a butter knife. Next up a warm salad for my wife. Definitely needed some acid like lemon or vinegar. My tomato and watermelon salad had a handful of small chilled balls of watermelon. Tomatoes were good. Then it took 45 minutes for our pasta to come. By the way, we had the 5 pm reservations so the "restaurant is busy" line doesn't work. I got 5 hard / tough pieces of pasta, yes 5, for $22. When you have to cut pasta with a knife, not good. And my wife's $20 fettuccine was luke warm and cold in some spots. We left without even trying desert lest get even more disappointed. For a great Italian meal head downtown to Grand Caffe L'aquila and avoid this pretentious ripoff with mediocre food. Best part of our night out was going to get ice cream at Petrucci's in King of Prussia

We were excited about another Vetri restaurant, i love Vetri restaurants and their pastas. And this one was somewhat close to us and easier to get to than going into Philly. We decided to come here a few weeks before my husband's birthday to celebrate since we would be at the shore during his birthday. We had a couple different servers and they were both very helpful and attentive. We ordered cocktails. Both were good but it was pretty much all drinks we've had before. There was no real out of the box inventive cocktails. But they were decent- and my husband's cocktail that had smoke in it they brought over a cloche to smoke the drink in which was cool. No one mentioned that it was my husband's birthday. We ended up splitting an appetizer, a few pastas, and an entree. Pastrami sweetbread with beet mustard- nice flavor, glad we got this. The beet mustard was very interesting and my husband loved it - and he doesn't even really like beets. Crab and shrimp Pacherri Al forno- it was just ok. Kind of disappointed because this was what I was most excited about and was a little bit of a let down. I didn't really get much crab or shrimp flavor it just tasted fishy and it was ground up. The sauce wasn't really anything special either. Potato tortellini with pesto- glad we got this pasta as well. I definitely liked this one better than the crab one. This is the Vetri pasta I know. Fresh basil flavor, delicious pasta. Waygu rib cap- very tender with great flavor. Really enjoyed it . Creamed corn- very good Charred Cauliflower Cacio e Pepe- good but a little on salty side We also split a dessert- some kind of spumoni dessert which was decent. I ordered an espresso too but it didn't come until after our dessert. Overall this place was very good and we enjoyed our meal. I'm glad we tried this restaurant and checked off another Vetri restaurant off our list. It was very good but nothing that blew us away that made us want to come back right away. Kind of expensive- I think for the price I would rather go back to the main Vetri restaurant in Philly it's probably about the same price almost. Maybe we'll come try more pastas and get some drinks if they change up their menu.

The blondie and the chocolate cake, and espresso martini

Shrimp scampi is soooo so good. Seafood conserva was amazing, lovely. Do not get the love-neh cheese anolini, super bland. Strip loin medium was perfect, and best brussel sprouts I've ever had. Service was so so good, everything you want in restaurant service, they even wiped off the tables between courses. Oh, and the restaurant is beautiful, cozy, fancy yet also comfortable, touch of casual. Can't wait to go back. Oh. And the blondie!!! Incredible. Comes out a little warm. Way better than the chocolate cake!

What an epicurean delight. Vetri 'esque without having to go into Philly? Sign me up! Everything was delicious but the service is what set this night apart. Making us feel like VIPS. Shannon, Ricky ,Terry and Haley we're fantastic!

This discreet facade nestled in an unassuming and yet vibrant city is out, about + ready to sweep the local foodie folks right off their feet. Upon entry you immediately find yourself enveloped by a beautifully appointed interior and greeted by the most welcoming staff. The great energy that this restaurant exudes is transmitted through its wonderful service and glaringly evident in its delicious and beautifully composed dishes. Recommended Dishes - Beef Tartare - Mortadella + Pistachio Focaccia - Fettucine Bolognese - Potato Tortelli in Pesto - Wagyu Rib Cap - Crispy Potatoes + Cauliflower Sides - Seasonal Crostata - Triple Chocolate Layer Cake This latest exploration by Chef Marc Vetri and Chef Jesse Grossman was truly a delight to experience. A big thank you to Shannon for making this memorable evening possible and to the wonderful staff (Terry, Ricky, Nick + Hailey) thank you for your warm hospitality! We can't wait to return to dine with you again!

Very busy house on a Saturday night and oddly but graciously quieter than many steakhouse environs. Service is good, as should be expected with this type of "pricier" option. If nitpicking, a side dish of Brussels sprouts delivered later than all entrees. Plates for "finished" diners cleared before all diners were through, which is understandable but not practiced in some higher end places. Steaks are truly cooked to requested temperatures, medium, medium rare, perfect and not as common as portrayed. The octopus appetizer is really well done. The halibut special was presented nicely and was delicate and flavorful all at once. Our server apparently makes the cappuccino herself and was quite proud of her skill and was really a nice touch.

We had amazing back to back items for my fiancé's birthday last weekend. From the beginning, I knew it was going to be lovely. The staff placed a birthday sign at our table thanking us for choosing them for our special occasion. It was such a thoughtful touch that I haven't seen anywhere else before. We were also seated at our exact reservation time and didn't wait a minute longer. Our server was also 10/10. I don't remember her name, but she was awesome with providing recommendations and also giving us a full rundown (by memory!) of the specials. I ordered the seasonal sangria - it wasn't my favorite sangria because it wasn't very sweet, but it was good. It had hints of fall flavors which I appreciated. Our choice of appetizer was the roasted cauliflower. It had a smoky flavor and was crunchy and crispy. Completely satisfying and perfect with the dipping sauce on the side. I shared garlic spinach with my fiancé and it was perfect for sharing. We still had some leftover, but it had the right amount of garlic and didn't make you feel like you needed to brush your teeth afterwards. My sesame crusted ahi tuna was phenomenal. Cooked medium. The crispy rice underneath set it off just right. The portion sizes here are generous. I was stuffed after our meal. I didn't snag a picture of the New York cheesecake but it was so decadent and tasty. We prefer cheesecakes on the creamier side (versus dense) and this checked all the boxes. We already mentioned wanting to come back for our anniversary. I'll look for any excuse to dine here!

Once inside, the feeling was a lot better. Not much in the way of art work on the walls, but still had a nice warm feeling. There were 3 of us and we did a lot of sharing. The Scallops in Shredded Filo was good but the Crab & Artichoke, with garlic aioli, parsley and capers was definitely "the winner". The Seafood Ceviche with scallops, halibut and shrimp was also delicious. While 2 of us were still enjoying our appetizers, our entrees were brought to the table and our plates moved to make room for them. I made the comment to no one in particular that I would try to eat faster as the seafood ceviche was pushed off to the side of the table. We had a 7 pm reservation and for the most part the restaurant was full by that time but we were not intentionally eating slowly. I could see if we might be taking up too much time eating and they had to move the tables but that was not the case as the restaurant was only half full by the time we left. For an establishment that is charging the prices that it is, Avg $18 for appetizers, high $30s for entrees, no one wants to feel rushed. The Halibut Almondine with Beurre Blank was good but not as good as we had hoped, with it being on the dry-side. The Dorado with Baby Vegetables was delicious as well as beautifully presented with "potato fish scales". A shared warm Pecan Pie with Vanilla Ice Cream completed our meal. Their menu is extensive making it an easy decision to return but I will mention that we would like a more leisurely experience this time around.

Being our first time there we wanted to see the interior. I mentioned this and they gave us a great table upstairs overlooking the restaurant. The store is decorated with a lot of Italian transportation...small cars and Vespas. I loved the high ceilings, and the upper level seating. They also have a huge TV on the wall, and decorated for the 2026 World Cup, despite Italy not qualifying! Our server, Alex, was very personable despite being busy with a large bday gathering and several other tables. He made us feel welcome as he went over the specials and took our orders. I got the chicken Parmesan which is my goto litmus test, while my date got the beet salad with grilled chicken. The food arrived promptly and looked and tasted delicious. My chicken parm was yummy, crispy chicken with melted cheese over delicious spaghetti! The beet salad was also well received. We saw several tables getting some delicious bread and asked for a basket. I thought it may be complimentary however it was 8$ a basket. They make it in house and drizzle it with olive oil. Served with some fresh rosemary and soft butter, it was delicious and well worth the price, just don't fill up on it! We were pressed for time so turned down their house made gelato, however we passed the gelato station on the way out and regretted this decision, it looked amazing! I mentioned to Alex that my entree was delicious but what set the restaurant apart was the service and atmosphere. It was warm, welcoming, and friendly. Some Italian places can be a bit on the cool/formal side so this was a nice change. Stop in and check it out, save some room for that bread and the gelato!
