Great resource to have in the Bay Area. Just refurbished my 12 year old grill and Ray helped me source all of the replacement parts that I needed. Spent time scrolling on-line stores trying to figure out what I needed and then called Garco when I ran into a dead in. Should have called in the first place to save me some time. Gary (the "Gar" in "Garco", I assume) worked with me on a deck renovation that included a complete replacement of our old built-in barbecue. My knowledge of the grill market was 18 years old, so I started with a bit of online research to bring myself up to speed. This lead me to the Garco website, which lead me to the Garco shop on Dell Ave in Campbell, not far from our home. A first visit with Gary was very educational. The line of grills I had been considering, primarily on price, would have been extremely unsatisfactory to me as the family's outdoor chef. After a conversation with Gary about grill quality, construction, and cooking ability, I decided that I would enjoy the way the better grills cook, and achieve better results long after I'd forgotten the higher price. After using the new grill for a month, I have done just that. Gary also under promised and over delivered on shipping the grill and cabinet components. He drove them over from the shop himself several weeks earlier than originally expected. The best compliment I can think of is that I intend to do business with him again when I replace original patio heater this fall with two new ones from his shop. read more

Walked into this shop randomly when we were in the area looking for a grill and fridge for our new outdoor kitchen. Gary showed us some options that would work based on our preferences. Garco was recommended by my hubby's coworker. We purchased the Lynx grill and sink for our outdoor kitchen. Gary provided superb customer service. We had some issues with the kitchen install which were not Gary's fault. He stepped in and worked with Lynx and the gas line contractor to fix the issue. This was way beyond his scope of work but he wanted to make sure everything was 150% perfect. We couldn't be happier. I highly recommend this company. I purchased a Lynx grill from Gary back in Late September 2015. I'd seen a Garco posting on eBay and called to find out if they'd be willing to carry the grill up a flight of stairs as part of the delivery fee. Because the grill is so heavy, another company had quoted me $1000 for white glove delivery. Gary said that if I ordered the grill through his website he'd do it at no cost. I was told the grill could take a few weeks to arrive, but Gary called much sooner than expected to say it's been shipped. He came out by himself to deliver it. I wasn't the person who accepted the grill, but I saw from pictures that were sent to me that he took the time to carefully inspect it before leaving. He ended up spotting a small imperfection on the backside of the grill and then went to the effort to call Lynx to find out if I could get a partial refund in exchange for accepting the grill as-is. A little while later we learned that they could refund us $300. A week later the check came in the mail. Highly recommended. read more

Gary provides excellent service. I had reached out to one of Gary's competitors for a quote on fixing a few things with our Lynx grill (automatic starters wouldn't light and a light was burned out inside the grill). After 3 weeks of going back and forth ("oh, my email must have gone into your spam folder, I'll call you first thing tomorrow") without any progress, I reached out to Gary. I should have asked Gary first! I sent an email to Gary late Thursday night, he replied first thing Friday morning and said he had a slot where he could come out to the house that afternoon. Gary showed up promptly when he said he would, fixed the problems noted above and also found a few other things he fixed that I hadn't even noted! I was in need of a high quality grill to replace my current one with a deadline looming. I bought a very expensive Lynx barbecue grill almost three years ago. For the past 3 years the grill has never regularly lit or cooked very well. I called the manufacturer endless times, replaced parts, hired 2 different repair companies and could only get the grill to work for a few months at a time. I reached the breaking point and called Barbecues Galore to buy a new grill. The manager at Barbecues Galore urged me to contact GarCo and Gary Fales to give him a shot to get it all right before I bought another grill. I called Gary explained the problems, Gary got in touch with Lynx, worked to get all the right replacement parts and then came out to fix our grill. What a pleasure. we was in the market for a new grill and had selected the Lynx 42". After searching the web for dealers, we came across Garco Grills and More. The owner invited us to his house so that we could actually see the unit. Gary (the owner) was extremely knowledgable of the Lynx product line. He explained the advantages of the Lynx in as much detail as we required. Once purchased, Gary kept us informed as to the deliver timeframe. Once he received it he delivered it himself and helped us getting it into the backyard. Once there, he opened the box and explained in detail how we needed to connect it. He also offered to come back out to fine tune things and go over many useful tips on how to clean and care for the unit. Once we installed the unit, Gary came back out as offered and fine tuned the burners, went over the unit's care, use, etc. in detail. The unit was missing a couple of connecters for the spring assist system and he installed those and connected the springs (big difference in opening the lid FYI). Gary's knowledge, follow through and professionalism was OUTSTANDING. If I am every in the market for other Lynx products, Gary will be my first and only call. Amazing service! Fortunately, we still have great people in Bay Area. I called GarCo Grills and More to check if they have a new gas hose for our Lynx Grill. Our gas hose melted and stoped working just few days before Father's day, so I really wanted to get it ASAP. Gary answered the phone and found the hose I needed in his store. He asked me which city I was calling from and I told him from Los Altos. He then offered to deliver the hose just because he was heading that way anyway and gave me a price + tax and no delivery fee. WOW!!! When he came, he made sure the new hose was working. Gary is very knowledgeable, professional, and very polite. After much research we decided which fire pit table to buy for our patio. We chose to purchase the fire pit through "Gary" of GarCo Grills & More in Los Gatos. He offered a competitive price and seemed like a nice honest person, unlike some of the other sales people/businesses we spoke with. The table was back ordered and Gary kept us up to date via email. We received the table (which is beautiful) but encountered a couple problems. Gary was all over it with the manufacturer representing us with customer service we rarely see these days. The problems have been taken care of and we are very happy with our fire pit table. Gary is a genuine and sincere person and we can't say enough about his sense of integrity. I needed a small repair on my Lynx grill. Gary was very thorough in completing the repair. He also found that the factory had not set the burner vents properly for natural gas, so he corrected this. He cleaned the burners and the lights, and gave great advice on grill maintenance. Gary is very knowledgeable and detail oriented.
