This spot seemed super cool and I'm a huge fan of unique wing sauces, which made me all the more excited to visit. The reviews are overwhelmingly positive and the area the restaurant is in is pretty cute and seems like a good place for a date night. Parking is a bit of a gamble, especially if you're in the area during the dinner rush or any other busy time of the week; lots of street parking and I'd bet some lot parking for specific businesses (take that with a grain of salt, though, as I came in at night so visibility wasn't great). I met a friend of mine for dinner and we were sat in their little outdoor area. Given the time of year, the patio was heated and covered which was super comfortable! The inside of both the patio and the restaurant itself have really cool decor and there is a super laid back feel to the place in general. They have some pretty good selections for food and a happy hour special for those interested. I guess the sauces change semi frequently, which is cool. Lots of the flavors are unique. The staff was very friendly and we were taken care of very well. I ended up going with the nine-piece wings and tried their Thai peanut and habanero raspberry sauce - both were DELICIOUS. My friend ordered a chicken salad and enjoyed hers as well. This would be a great spot to grab a bite with a few friends or on a date before hitting the town! I'm sure I'll be back to try their other items in no time.

First time trying this place and did not disappoint. Very nice staff, solid wings, burger, happy hour, etc. They do have a small lot but mainly street parking. Came in, looked at the happy hour menu and regular. Since it was my first time, I got to try a few of the sauces. Buffalo bleu and the blueberry habanero? Was my favorite. The blueberry was not super sweet or syrupy but great balance! Dry rub garlic lemon pepper was the other flavor and good too. Burger was a little dry but good burger sauce, toppings, and bun. Very clean, comfy, and good spot to watch a game

As a self-proclaimed wing fanatic, Fire On The Mountain helps set the bar for top tier wings. I have worked my way through every sauce and plan to do it again! I usually give their flavor of the month a try and have enjoyed it every time. From the hip decorations to the energy of regulars hanging out and working remotely, the atmosphere is always lively and fun. The service is always great as well. The price is a bit on the higher side, but their wings are so delicious they make the perfect "spoil yourself" meal. I have celebrated my birthday here many times!

Try ALL the sauces

The food and vibes at both locations are unparalleled-the wing sauces are so rich and they have a crazy variety, like the Sichuan peppercorn, Ethiopian berebere, and booberry (Halloween) special, with the Jamaican jerk and spicy peanut being my favorite regulars. We really do come every few weeks just to try the monthly specials. The crunch wrap and fried Oreos are my favorite staples, and the wings are always a generous portion - get the fries to sop up extra sauce too. They're thicc! They have a lot of creative specials that aren't wings too like the pork belly banh mi, chimichurri steak tacos, a riblet sando, Vietnamese crepes- everything is executed flawlessly. A lot of places might overplay their hand with too much variety but everything put out by FOTM is an absolute banger. Lots of vegan options too and enormous salads-been coming here for most a decade and it's only gotten better!

Stopped by since we live in the area and have walked by a bunch and I'm so glad we did! I ordered a lager beer on tap and it was so refreshing. The buffalo tenders basket with mild buffalo sauce were calling my name so I had to order them! Did I enjoy them? Heck's yes and I will definitely be back for more!

Our favorite wings are here! The blue cheese is spot on! The wings are crispy but cooked well inside and juicy. Love the amount of sauce on the wings. The vibe here is very cool and friendly. The service is superb! One of our favorite places to come and hang out! Will continue to come back again and again! Crystal and I are big wing people since we're from Upstate New York and this place is definitely in our top 5 faves in Colorado for sure!

Garlic Parmesan, swimming in sauce
Alia P.

I was so excited to try this place, with raving reviews from clients and locals. It was a football Sunday, and we were craving some good wings. Unfortunately, this didn't quite hit the nail on the head. The best part of the meal were our fries, ordered plain with Cajun dry rub to add at home tossed to give them a fair shot. The wings themselves were very small, we ordered a 24 piece with 4 sauces total: flavor of the month (Texas-Thai dry rub), garlic Parmesan, medium buffalo and bourbon chipotle. The wings were swimming in sauce, the garlic Parmesan may as well have been an Alfredo pasta sauce. We needed up rebaking the wings in hopes to salvage the soggy skins but ultimately were disappointed. For the price point, it wasn't satisfying enough to make it worth it. The hostess in the front was kind and swift to take our order and to pass it off to us. The spot in would be nice to sit in with multiple seating areas, but I don't foresee our return to watch any games this season.

Average wings, got 2 kinds, hot buffalo and garlic Parm. The hot buffalo was good, not great. The garlic Parm was flavorless. Overall, average wings. Good beer selection though

Ask the Community - Fire On The Mountain

Can my dog be on the patio?

While we love doggos, unfortunately, we do not allow pets in any of our dining areas with the exception of ADA designated service animals. Health department requirements are highly prohibitive and due to the risk of small chicken bones, we aren't…

I see they have gluten free batter for the cauliflower. Do they have either breadless or can they use the GF Batter on the wings?

If you get the traditional bone in they are not breaded at all.

What day is all you can eat wings?

Hi Kellsi, We do not offer an all you can eat wings special. Thank you for your inquiry. Cheers!

Do they do all you can eat wings any night?

Nope, but we have great happy hour pricing Monday thru Friday from 3-6 pm

We enjoyed our treats, caught up and people watched. And yes these are treats. There may be alcohol at other times; we were just there for coffee and tea, and the specials leaned floral. I had something built around orange blossom that drifted between citrus and honeysuckle, delicate enough to feel like a mood rather than a flavor. Lovely, if not exactly life-changing. But that's the point: Hello Darling pulls you in with its aesthetic and keeps you with its comfy, cozy seats. Definitely equally suited to a solo work session or a two-hour gossip spiral that was supposed to be a work session! Come for the drinks, stay because you forgot you had somewhere else to be.

We started with what might be one of the best bruschetta apps: grilled, charred bread topped with blistered heirloom tomatoes (those vibrant yellow and red ones!), creamy burrata (or whipped ricotta-like cheese), fresh basil, and a gorgeous balsamic drizzle. The contrast of the smoky, crispy bread with the juicy, roasted tomatoes and that rich, peppery cheese was so fresh and flavorful. Highly recommend sharing this one! Frankie's cocktails were spot-on too. We went for the perfect pink marg with Tajín rims refreshing, citrusy (heavy on the lime), with just the right kick of spice from the rim. They were dangerously drinkable and paired beautifully with everything. I remember when Bookbar occupied this space many moons ago. I used to like that place a lot. Well, I'm also beginning to like the new life My Boy Tony has brought here. It caters to a younger crowd, whether you're bar hopping on Tennyson with a group or looking for a spot to take a hot date. For better and worse, it's a neighborhood bar at its core. The most shocking thing is how they transformed the space from the previous tenants. It has a beautiful open layout with nice furniture and design. The bartenders are generally friendly and prices are in line with similar cocktail bars in Denver. The few times I've been here I've been in a cocktail mood. Negronis and Old Fashioneds are made well and are slow sippers I enjoy. They do have a nice selection of wines that I'll have to try when it tickles my fancy. The only hiccups here for me are some really long wait times for drinks. They usually have two bartenders and sometimes it gets really backed up. No one is running the floor when I've been there bussing and wiping down tables. Though I understand with a location here it can go from being empty to completely slammed in a matter of minutes! If you're looking for a cool, comfortable bar without the pretentiousness or judgment, check out My Boy Tony.

The decor inside was clean with comfortable seating and a variety of bar seats and low tables. They also had virtual golf - an interesting mix. My one complaint is the amount of televisions. It had the amount I'd expect at a sports bar but way above sports bar prices.
