It used to be my number one pho spot, but the food quality has gone down a lot while the prices keep going up. I was honestly surprised by how good Pho Lab was. I ordered through DoorDash instead of dining in, and the food still arrived in amazing quality. The tender short ribs were flavorful, juicy, and very tender. Everything tasted fresh and well made. Pho Lab is now my number one spot for pho. I really hope they open a location closer to Garden Grove and Westminster because they deserve even more attention. In my opinion, they already beat Phoholics. They just need to be closer to where I live.

It is located in a strip mall in Huntington Beach at the corner of Beach and Main. A very busy intersection. There is parking in front of the restaurant. They have a handicap ramp. The interior design is modern and simplistic. Everyone is always friendly and we Love Amy the owner. Although, we have been missing her over the past couple of visits. When you walk in, you'll get seated right away and the server will bring you a glass bottle of Alkaline water. Nice touch! The menu is simple and on point. They offer all the main traditional Vietnamese dishes. For starters, we ordered the crispy veggie egg rolls which comes with 4 egg rolls, the summer rolls with shrimp which also comes in 4 pieces. As a main course, we got 2 shrimp pho's with vegan broth (yes they brought back the vegan broth) Thank you Amy It is light and goes really well with the shrimp. Make sure to add lots of fresh basil for a flavor boost. And we also got the house garlic prawns which comes with either steam rice or garlic noodles as well as steamed brocoli. Everything is delicious. The Pho noodle soup is a must. It is available with different meats and broths with option of thick or thin rice noodles. In my opinion, It is the best. And i believe that most people go there specifically for their Pho. That is what got me hooked. Overall Pho HP is always a great experience and we will be back again soon. I highly recommend Pho HP.
