I actually tried something not this location and thoroughly enjoyed vibe that this location has. There's a lot of open space and outdoor seating that just make it really comfortable for all year. The environment- Fire wings is maintaining their care torrents covid safety precautions. They give clients the flexibility to wear a mask or not. I admit I never gave Fire Wings a fair chance to win me over. Once I found out they're way cheaper than BWW, I had to give them a shot and good thing I did. The fast-casual setup allows them to pass on some of their savings to their customers. They have all of the signature flavors you find at other wing places like the lemon pepper and mango habanero. Unfortunately, most of the big chain chicken wang places like Buffalo Wild Wings only have okay wings. I didn't know what to expect coming here. Looking at the menu, I felt overwhelmed. So many choices. I needed some guidance. The cashier server helped me narrow down my choices. I went with the Saigon Street wings and the salt and pepper wings. And I'd be foolish not to try the Seasoned fries. I was happy to see a decent selection of beers on tap. I went with the Space Dust. The Saigon Street wings were a perfect mixture of sweet, salty and crispy. The saltiness comes from fish sauce. This is a very common source for saltiness for Asian dishes. I'd definitely order this flavor again. The salt and pepper wings were also crispy and similar to salt and pepper pork chops at a Chinese restaurant. Both flavors of wings went really well with the Space Dust IPA. Next time I'll have to try the spicy flavors. I love heat, but went with the umami flavored wings this time around. I had a really disappointing experience ordering at FireWings in Irvine. I placed an in store order for 20 wings, only to discover when I drove home that they were all drumsticks--no flats at all. When I expressed my frustration to the manager, they told me the only option was to drive back to the store to address the issue. To add further insult they said they had large orders of flat wings but couldn't see the reason why we couldn't just be happy with drumstick only order. If we had known we would have never placed the order. No one said you only can have no choice. To add more insult you grave to drive back to hand over the order. This was extremely inconvenient, but I made the trip, hoping they'd rectify the situation. Instead of a proper resolution to fix or an apology, I was offered a refund and sent on my way packing empty-handed. I left hungry, annoyed, and feeling like my time and money had been completely wasted. Needless to say, I won't be coming back after this ordeal. I hope the franchise owner sees how horrible they treat their loyal customers who spend tons of money on large party orders only to throw it all away because you cannot make a simple $30 order right. So in this plaza, there are 2 restaurants for chicken wings. This one outshines the other by a long shot! Definitely like that it's a pay/order at the counter and then food is brought to you (waiting for a server at the other place can be a pain). They also say its the little things that make the difference? One, if you order a drink, they have self serve soda/tea dispensers. I love the ones that have a mix of drinks, so in case you change your mind and don't want another soda, you can easily opt for something else instead. I did rootbeer first fill and raspberry tea on the 2nd. Lets get to the wings. The flavor options here also what sets them apart. I've never seen Thai Peanut, Peking, Saigon flavors anywhere else. The Saigon one was my favorite (it's basically fish sauce nuoc mam), so good! I can also say they're generous with the celery/carrots. Both were fresh and included with our order (unlike that other place that charges extra for it now). Not much to complain here, food was good, it's pretty much self serve for everything else so can't complain about service. They have several tvs so if there's a game on, this would be a great place to grab food/hang out. We'll definitely be back as this is one of the only places open late in Irvine. read more

I've been coming to this store since it opened, but for the first time I was very disappointed. When I returned to work, and looked at my food order, I was surprised to see that these were the tiniest pieces of wings I've ever seen. Had I known that Fire Wings was selling tiny chicken wings to customers today, I would have passed. I ordered a 10 pc , but what I got was 10 small scraps of wings plus 5 extra smaller pieces to make up for the bigger scraps. Really, this is what Fire Wings is doing now? Later, after work I called and spoke w/Manager Najah about the experience and was offered 5 wings to return or go thru DoorDash for the refund. How convenient is that! And for me to accept the 5 pc Wing Comp would be crazy 'at this time' just to get more scrappy baby wings. No thanks! Fire Wings you need to get your Supplier right. Time has to pass before I give your restaurant another try. You should at least have the courtesy to notify your customers in advance of the shortage of wings your restaurant is facing and give them the option of whether or not to make the purchase. We've noticed a significant change in their quality and portion size these past few times we've went. We ordered the garlic noodles (no cheese) like we always do and this time they completely forgot the garlic so the dish was just a pack of cold, overcooked and unseasoned noodles.
