Think of this place as a more Asian infused WingStop! Food: Same concept as Wing Stop, you can order those 6,10,12 pieces with either bone in or boneless. The flavors are what make this place unique. Each flavor offers something different. Dragon and Peking are my favorite ones. There are also classic flavors such as lemon pepper, BBQ and teriyaki. The seasoned fries are bomb but they offer other sides such as mac n cheese, etc. Service: The wait time is not too long. The longest I've had to wait for my chicken was about 20 minutes because it got super busy during a diner rush. The staff is cool and nice. Ambiance: I kind of wish the place was a little bit bigger. When it gets busy, there is barely any room to sit. They have this one long table along the wall and aisle that faces the wall. I ordered a 10 piece meal, extra crispy with their fried zucchini, it was takeout. When I arrived home and went to eat I found I actually had an 8 piece, I was pretty annoyed. I started to eat the wings and noticed they were sitting in a pool of oil, so half was extra crispy and the other half oily! The zucchini tasted odd, not like I've had before. All in all it sucked. So I decided to check out this establishment after seeing that several of my Yelp compadres had been here recently, and notice that "Hot New Business" icon. So I too had to see what all the fuss was about. I came in late afternoon on a weekday with my girl to get lunch that had food we both enjoy and was new to the both of us. We both are very familiar with Fire Wings' location as it's in the same business plaza as United Artist theater off of Bruceville/Valley High Drive, and is in the same building section as Thai Basil & 24hr Fitness. Once you walk into the establishment you see that Fire Wings has a small sports bar feel similar to Wing Stop, but is infused with a modern feel. From their light colored wood table tops, to their black brick walls, or their abstract graffiti style artwork near the ceiling, and their well balanced wings menu display. Fire Wings kicks it up a notch with both their menu and their decor! The one thing Fire Wings has going that other wings places doesn't, is their selection. Where else have you been where you have a choice of TWENTY-ONE different flavors of wings, in three different flavors themes (Asian, Hot, Rubs)? It can seem overwhelming at first if it's your first time here, but take your time and choose because unique flavors like Peanut Butter, Dragon, Louisiana Rub, Siracha, Jamaican Jerk, and Buffalo Stampeded. Or choose from classics like Garlic Parmesan, Original BBQ, Classic Teriyaki or Lemon Pepper. After looking over their wide wing selection my girlfriend decided on Korean Kick & Peking Wings, while I got the Thai Chili and Cali Rub. While we waited we went to get our drinks and they had a soda dispenser similar to that at Dos Coyotes if you've ever been there. But I think some of their selections weren't working and or the screen was setup really weird. Because when you selected a soda option for some of them there was an extra option for "Cherry" or "Vanilla" like Cherry Pepsi or Vanilla Root beer. But when you selected that option, it didn't work. A little weird and not a big deal, but just a heads up in case you come across that too. Once we got our food I tried the Thai wings first to see if they were as good as some Thai wings I've had at Thai restaurants, and they were pretty good. Hot, crispy and both sweet and spicy...just the way I like them. The Cali Rub flavor was ok, a flavor worth trying but for me not a flavor I choose again before trying some of the other options they have. My girfriend didn't like the Peking flavor, since they tasted just like sweet and sour chicken you'd get at a Chinese restaurant, granted the girl taking our order described it as tasting like sweet and sour. I tried it and think it's a flavor that's good in 1 or two wings and then came become overpowering, UNLESS you love sweet and sour then Peking is the flavor for you. The Korean kick wings were pretty bomb though, and I liked the black sesame weeds adorned on top. OVERALL: Hot new establishment that give the current notable chains in the area, a run for their money. Huge selection of flavors in different heat levels. They have a pretty extensive menu for being a wings place including salads and different appetizers and sides. There's also beers on a tap and they're pretty affordable for a pint ($3.50 and $4.50 depending on type of beer). I shared the 20 pieces combo which came with 3 sauce options on the wings, seasoned fries, carrots/celery sticks, and two dipping sauces. There were at least a dozen sauce options to choose for the wings that were pretty unique. I tried the Saigon street, mango habanero, and garlic Parmesan. Mango habanero was my favorite but I expected it to be spicier. The garlic Parmesan was greasier than expected which didn't help the Parmesan stick for some reason. The Saigon street, which def has a fish sauce base, was good but on the salty side. Overall not bad. The Mac and cheese was sad and tasted like one of those frozen entrees you stick in the microwave. Monday's and Tuesday's are their 50 cent boneless wings special, so I got an order of that in garlic Parmesan. And also tater tots $2. I was not a fan of the wings.. They were not crispy like how they were advertised in the picture. Saigon: medium fish sauce flavor, too soggy, and didn't taste anything but fish sauce. Thai chili: I didn't see one piece of chili.. These were also soggy and not very flavorful. My suggestions would be to work on the flavors. In the end they both tasted similar to me. Nothing distinct about either. Boneless: the pieces were big and these were crispy. Tots: probably my favorite thing that i ordered. Didn't feel or taste too greasy, were super crunchy, and light. For my first visit, upon entering, the cashier was very nice, personable, and extremely helpful when it came to deciding. I asked for a recommendation and he raced on about the Korean Kick. So we decided to go with that along with the Garlic Parmesan and Lemon Pepper (on bone-in wings). Now I will say that the batter on the wings threw me off a little and I wasn't particularly a big fan of it, but the flavors were so good. Safe to say that Korean Kick was a solid winner. I finally got to try out Fire Wings after bookmarking it when it first opened. Got the family pack to go: 20 wings (bone in or boneless) with 3 flavors, veggies, fries, and 2 sauces for a little over $20 after tax. We opted for the street Saigon, peanut butter, and garlic parmesan flavors with honey mustard and Sriracha mayo dips. The veggies are the standard carrots and celery sticks. My favorite was the street Saigon, basically wings full of flavor from a sweet and spicy chili sauce. The garlic parmesan was also well received, with a strong parmesan flavor to balance the garlic. The peanut butter actually tasted more of fish sauce than anything else. Sauces were both good, although I personally thought the Sriracha mayo tasted a little off. I'm not a fan of Sriracha or mayo so maybe my vote doesn't count here. Ambience, even though I didn't stay long, was casual but welcoming. It was busy but not crazy for the weekend, and there are short term parking spots for pickup orders up front. Soooo, this is my second time here and I still think they have some of the best wings. The one star missing is only because it takes awhile for you to get your order so I highly recommend ordering before you come. The environment of the building is clean meets hip. The staff is always friendly and smiling as well as very helpful in making suggestions on what to try. I've tried four different sauces and plan on trying them all at some point. I highly recommend the peanut butter! It's so creamy and delicious. Don't fear it unless you have a nut allergy. One of the things I enjoy most about this place is that the wings pack a lot of flavor, perfect crunch, and pretty good amounts of meat to bone ratio. We've tried their garlic noodles when they first opened and thought they were just okay since it seemed they just took spaghetti noodles and put oil, garlic, then sprinkled with paramsean. But the last time we were there it looked like they may have changed the noodle which is a smart move on their part. Will have to try them again. What do really like is their combos, the prices are reasonable and you actually get a beverage with your order. Some places don't have that. What I like most is that you can upgrade your combo drink to a beer for $2.25 which I did and was very happy enjoying my food with a nice cold draft of shock top! Try this place! First time here, and I was craving wings for a while. We came here around lunch time, and it wasn't too busy. Kinda has a sports bar feel to it. The place is kept pretty clean, and had tables in and outside of this establishment. We ordered: Lemon-pepper wings, salt & pepper boneless, peanut butter boneless, and garlic pasta. The peanut butter boneless reminds me of Thai - chicken pad thai, without the pad thai. It had a little spice to it. The lemon pepper chicken wings was great. Nice crisp to the skin and the flavors stood out. The boneless wings had a little too much batter for me, but my wife really enjoyed them. They were consistent in texture, size, and heat. The garlic noodles was for my son, but I had some to taste, and it was full of flavor. The wait was pretty long (about 15 minutes), but I think there was a pretty large order in front of us. Good to know they make it when you order it. The one thing I would complain about is the windows do not have a sun-protector screen we can roll down. So if you seat right by the windows when the sun is creeping in, you're going to get burned. I would comeback for more wings :) read more

We decided to try out this place; we were greeted as we walked in. We checked out the menu and we decided to ordered 40 wings pack which comes with 4 flavored, 4 dips, an order of large fries, large side, and veggie sticks for $38.49. We ordered the Fire, Korean kick, BBQ Chipole, and Saigon street; I personally like the Korean kick the best. My friends enjoyed the Fire flavor! We ordered some beers to enjoy it with our wings. We enjoy watching sports there with 4 TVs which is very nice! I would definitely come back and try the peanut butter flavor wings! read more

Oh my goodness. We had the most bizarre experience with them tonight. First of all, the order was missing all the sides and the drinks, however that was the Dasher's fault. But one order of chicken wings was literally micro sized. Each chicken wing was about 1.5 to 2 inches long! They were like chicken wings for Barbie dolls! You thought WINGSTOP was amazing well this place is absolutely wonderful! There's a $20 meal that gives you large fries and 3 flavors of wings. My girlfriend and I were lucky enough to try the lemon pepper, Thai chili and Saigon flavors with bone in. Absolutely delicious. The lemon pepper wings were crunchy and flavorful. The Thai chili is was the spiciest one of them all. This flavor was extraordinary with a good taste. Almost like a super hot sweet and sour sauce taste. The Saigon was my personal favorite flavor and it was topped with a nice crunch to it as well. We upgraded our fries to Garlic fries for an extra $1.50. Really good as well!! Wasn't soggy and the crunch and garlic was perfect for fries. We added in 2 drinks since their soda machine was so advanced. The grand total came to about $30 for two. It is on the pricier side compared to WINGSTOP but it was worth the travel and sit down. It gets really busy so plan on take out if there's no seating!! Took off two stars because the employees are very unprofessional sipping on their drinks behind the counters and slow to clean up tables. Also, their backs were to the customers most of the time. I also had to wait 5 minutes in front of the counter just to ask for a box. Customer service is what makes people want to come back. Great food but can work on service a whole lot.
