Ever since that day, I'll order from here whenever I crave for some wings. The restaurant's atmosphere feels friendly. Very modern interior with many TVs. They're usually pack (at least whenever I'm there). It's not a bad place to hang out in group or socializing as they do serve alcohol too. After reading reviews on good ole Yelp I tried fire wings. The location is right near 24 hour fitness and the movie theater off center parkway. When I entered into the restaurant I was impressed by the amount of space provided for seating. The walls are filled with flavor choices and details about their wings flavor which are helpful for first timers like myself. They have a few nice size Tvs in the restaurant which makes it a great place to watch sports. Before, I ordered I compared the prices to Wingstop and observed Fire Wings prices were a tad bit more. I ordered peanut butter, dragon and mango habanero wings. I was impressed by the size of the wings which are a bit bigger than Wingstop. Saigon was less saucy, good flavor, great sauce on it, not too overwhelming, Korean kick was good a lot more saucier, sweet kick forsure and with the sesame seeds giving it a smokey burst flavor. I tried the Garlic Noodles to see what all the hype was, huge portion, but they felt dry compared to my wings and drink. Some butter on them for smoother texture would be nice. Why Fire Wings instead of Wingstop? Variety! That is something Wingstop does not have. Fire Wings has flavors from all over the world. From America, Europe, and Asia. This location is situated in the busy Center pkwy shopping center, conveniently next to 24 hour fitness. Why go to the gym when you can grab wings or do both if you please. the inside is not the largest, but just quaint enough. There is this weird bar bench against the wall going down this hallway in the back and I thought that was a bit weird. With outdoor seating, it fits just enough for a good sports party. I'm usually pretty particular with my flavor of my wings because some flavors are just too boring and i end up having to send it back to the kitchen. I had dabbled with a few different flavors from Fire Wings and my favorites would have to be: Dragon, Korean Kick, and Thai Chili. Of course, if you are not into exploring, they have your usual lemon pepper, salt and pepper, garlic parm, etc. I do enjoy the flavors here. When they say there is a kick, they mean it. The size of the wings are a bit larger here than Wingstop, which I don't mind, but it's not a priority. Each wing is perfectly crispy on the outside, and covered in your favorite flavors. I usually go for something a little more saucy and spicy (just like me, lol). Overall, you can't go wrong with the flavors here. The reason why I docked a star is because of their soda machine. if they cleaned the screen and fountain a little more often, I would have easily given them 5 stars. It was just super dirty when I was there. I saw greasy finger prints on the monitor and the handle where you push for ice was covered in soda. 11/6/17 8:00PM : Worst experience at Fire Wings ever! I usually go to this Fire Wings location but my friends and I will most likely never come back to this location ever again. First of all, I came in at 8:00PM and ordered 20 boneless pieces of chicken, so did my friends. They ordered before us so obviously they get their order first. But it came to my attention that people that came in 25-30 minutes after us were getting their orders and I still have not received mine. 4-5 orders were handed out and I STILL have not received my order, it was been 35 minutes since I had came in so we decided to ask about our order. The worker that we asked went behind the front counter and seemed to be frantically looking for our order, shortly after, another worker came up to us and asked us if our friends' order was ours when we were clearly not even eating their wings to begin with. We told them our order, they just turned back to the kitchen and did not even apologize that we have waited over 40 minutes for our order. When we got our order, we left to go eat it but when we got home to eat our wings.. one of them was slightly pink inside and some were burnt. The least the three workers that encountered us could have done was apologize for skipping over our order and making us wait 45-50 minutes for it. I understand that people make mistakes but at least say sorry about your mistake instead of not acknowledging it at all. I made an online order for pickup which was ready pretty quick. I live a good 10 minutes away from the place so it was ready before I got there which was nice and efficient. The ambience of the place is really cool with the many types of flavors against the wall and tables inside and outside. I was kind of in a hurry so I didn't get to look around too much so I'll have to re-review the interior. The one thing I do have to say about the place is that I wished it was slightly bigger and roomier but I'm hoping that they'll open a bigger location later down the road. The cool thing about this place is all the flavors they offer compared to most wing places. I ordered their lemon pepper and sriracha sauce flavors with fries and a drink combo. The lemon pepper was AMAZING, the sriracha was terrible, it was bland, not spicy at all and had a confusing taste to it so I definitely won't be getting that flavor again. The fries could use some flavoring, I'm not sure if it's because it sat too long or what but it tasted weird and had an odd texture to it. Although it was mediocre I will definitely come back and try other flavors because I do think they have it in them to offer better options, plus there are only so many good wing places. A lot of yelpers and my friends suggest getting the peanut butter flavor even if it sounds gross because apparently it's delicious and to try the garlic noodles because it's worth trying. So I will have to come back for those and re-review this spot. Overall, it's okay, the prices were reasonable and really liked the ambience so it's worth a second chance. I used to eat wing stop . USED TO This place is soooooo good. The salt and pepper wings are a must every single time. I also like the Peking, Thai chili and peanut butter. I know peanut butter sounds weird as a wing flavor, but its basically a satay chicken wing. The fries are hit and miss. But the wings are awesome. Found this spot in Elk Grove after leaving a function at the bowling alley. Went in on a Friday night at 10:30(ish)PM and the place was busy. Wife and I ordered 10 piece combo with the BBQ Chiptole and Korean Kick sauces. The Korean Kick was the better of the two choices. I don't know what they to their wings for nice, crispy crunch but it works. Food was served hot. The french fries were some of the best I've ever had, and I've had a lot of fries. The sauce flavors are plentiful, way more than WingStop and possibly BWs. Next time, I want to try couple of the other flavors. Then they have their hot flavors like habanero, buffalo, bbq and bbq chipotle. Each time I've gone here, we've gotten the family pack 20 wings deal. This comes with 3 flavors, 2 dips(always ranch cause ranch is life), large fries and veggie sticks. Lemon pepper is always one of the flavors I must have at any wing place. I thought it was interesting to try peanut butter and salt and pepper. Both were surprisingly good! Oh and the garlic noodles! 10/10. They are absolutely amazing.
