Right Proper Raised By Wolves Pale Ale
    Victor H.

Very nice that Fire Works expanded their wings into the Arlington area. This spot has been in the Courtyard parts of Arlington for a while and locals are lucky it's here. Beer and pizza, their specialties! Plenty of local brews and domestics on tap. The Right Proper Raised by Wolves pale ale is what pale ale dreams are made of with the right flavors and hops mixed in. Very easy to drink and sip with pizza. Speaking of pizza, there are over a dozen types of pies to choose from or you can build your own. Each pie has distinct flavor profiles or course. The Good for the Seoul is unique with the beef bulgogi and spiciness topping; very adventurous for pizza lovers. The sweet heat pizza combines sweetness of honey with jalapeno flavors. Those are what I would recommend. As for appetizers, the bacon fat fries are gluten free and a must order if you love fries. The tempura brussels sprouts are tasty although heavier than I thought they would be due to the tempura coating. Next time I might ask if they can do it w/o the tempura. Service is attentive and bartenders are knowledgeable of the menu. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Place is also clean with plenty of seating at the bar area. Perfect of dates or with large parties[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. Look forward to returning!

Where is the sauce?! Pizza is so dry..

Their pizza box says, "It's love in a box" and I must disagree. My husband placed an order for pick up this evening and this is the driest pizza I EVER had. I think the pizza was estimated to be ready in 20 min but it was ready in 10, so it was sitting for 10 minutes until he arrived. I've ordered lots of pizza and have let it sit for 10 minutes and it never was dry like this. I LOVE wood fired pizza but this pizza lacks tomato sauce and the chicken they use is so thinly sliced so when placed in a wood fired oven, it's dry as the Sahara desert. PLEASE add more sauce to your pizzas and change the chicken you use. I gave two stars because of how quick the service was. #Thatsit

I got there after my flight into DC on a Monday evening since it was around the corner from my hotel. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I was sat in a booth near the bar. It was nice to watch the wood fire grill burning and people watch.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I ordered the happy hour cheesy bread and a glass of wine. The menu was huge so it took some time to look at it, though I still landed on a pizza with onions, pepperoni, olives, and red pepper flakes. It came out first and then my cheesy bread came out (I almost thought they forgot it). So I was a little disappointed by that, especially since the 10" pizza was so large that I regretted getting the cheesy bread. The food was hot and tasty and the server was great. Just be aware about the portion sizes and pacing of your food order!

I was on a business trip and Fireworks was near my hotel. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was a basic bar and grill style restaurant with plenty of seating in the bar area.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I didn't really feel like having pizza so I ordered a Cobb salad but the Cajun pasta also looked good They were both above average for a typical bar and grill. Cobb salad had all the right ingredients, the lettuce was crisp and fresh and the chicken was well cooked and hot -- I hate it when the grilled chicken is lukewarm or even cold and you can't tell if it was just cooked or a week old. The Cajun pasta was also well above average for a bar and grill. Seasoning was just right -- I but of a kick but not overwhelming. There was chicken, shrimp, and sausage in good amounts and the shrimp was not overcooked as it sometimes is when you mix it in with other proteins. Service was good and friendly. (The picture of the pizza is from the lunch the following day - it was good too)

    Black sheep 14 in!

I've recently had some really good beers at Fire works, most notably are the oatmeal raisin cookie porter, the old busthead west coast ipa, mustang sally amber ale, the canned IPA pictured below. The tap list which is like 30 local craft beers is fire here. The pizzas including black sheep et al. Are very good too. The THS wings are excellent as well! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Service is always good and the vibe is super chill and friendly![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Will be back soon!

Good service but mediocre food. Drinks were pretty good. Came for brunch and tried a bit of everything on the menu. The pizza, which I was looking forward to, left much to be desired.

Natalie made our bottomless brunch experience at Fire Works Pizza absolutely fantastic! She was attentive, upbeat, and kept the drinks flowing without us ever having to ask. She checked in often, made great menu suggestions, and created such a fun, welcoming atmosphere for our table. The food and brunch specials were great, but Natalie's service really stood out and made the whole experience even better. We'll definitely be coming back for brunch again!

A friend and I came here for lunch on a Friday. It was easy to get a seat at the bar. We had the Dynamite Shrimp, Brussels sprouts, sliders, and bacon fat fries. It was all very good. Portions were large- there was more than we could eat. They also had a delicious mango cocktail. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It has a nice neighborhood vibe to it.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Could see making it a regular stop if I lived closer.

Place is great, THS Wings and Sweet Heat are the move here. My friend Benji put me onto this place and I'd recommend everyone else as well. I've got to try other stuff like the desserts but haven't because I always show up later in the night when they're about to close to just pizzas. We've had Cameron as our Bartender most time(s) and had Rose and Devin a few occasions. 10/10 would recommend.

Lunch special: mini-pizza (Gorgonzola for me!) and side caesar salad.

I live in DC but sometimes go to the movies in the Court House section of Arlington, which gave me the chance to discover Fireworks Pizza. Now I go every time I go to the movies. They're incredibly welcoming, always making me feel they appreciate my visit. They have gorgonzola cheese for the pizzas, which is hard to find around here! They are accommodating in terms of changes to the menu, which is always great. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They have weekly trivia nights -- fun![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Finally, they offer a wonderful $11.95 lunch special. I love the mini-pizza (perfect for a pre-movie lunch) and salad. I'm very happy I discovered Fireworks!

Not sure, because they botched our order of ONE pizza

They don't make actual pizza, just flatbread stuff. Tried to get two slices and they looked at me like my head was on backwards.

When I had ordered previously, I always found that my pie was not ready and I had to wait. Each time, I waited a bit longer, and each time, still not ready. So, this time, ordered my pizza before 9:00 PM and did not depart immediately -- but instead waited a full 20 minutes before even walking there slow. When I arrived, the pizza was..... still not ready. It occurs to me that this shop is situated in a time zone that is somehow TEN MINUTES BEHIND the time your order is due. The guy says "five minutes." In any case, I stand, I wait.... and I.... wait some more. It wasn't five minutes. Lots of workers standing. Nearing the 9:30 mark, someone finally says "have you been helped?" And whadda ya know? Found out the reason I was still waiting - BECAUSE MY PIE WAS SITTING THERE THE WHOLE DAMN TIME! Getting cold. She says "we're just getting that cut up." But they weren't - it was already cut. They took one of their old pies off the rack and slid it right into a box. It wasn't in the oven. I could feel it was cold, but yes, I took it and went home. I can't say you couldn't eat it but.... it wasn't good. We did eat some of it, but only after baking it in my own oven. Good thing I ordered in advance, eh? If you are going to do a take out here, my advice would be to skip ordering altogether, and just go there and get the slices yourself. They won't be too fresh, but at least it will be fast. Better yet, go across the street to Quincy Hall, (or over to Wise Guys) where they will bake the pizza to order and have it hot and ready when you arrive. Keep in mind here they charge $32 for a pizza, full price only. NOT worth it, won't be back, do not recommend.

I would happily spend all my adult money here! The pasta was absolutely incredible, and the arancini balls were some of the best I've had. The place is very moodily charming because you're on a basement level with no natural light, so everything is dark and the vibe is Italian grandma kitsch. The whole thing manages to work. They were busy, and our waitress, who was highly professional (honestly she seemed like she could be a government employee) was being pulled to some VIP table in their back room (which we were seated adjacent to), so she was not as available as we would have liked. We got a couple cocktails and started with the Caesar salad and the meatballs. For a place that boasts about its portion sizes, there were only two meatballs, and they were fine. The free bread wasn't impressive, especially considering the extraordinary bread situation that we had at The Dip the previous evening. The salad was undersalted and kinda bland. So, overall, not the most promising beginning. We all shared the one main dish of Linguini Cardinale after our waitress sold us on it. It's sort of like a vodka sauce that mated with lobster, and it was delicious, but it was quite rich and heavy. We did like it though. Dessert was where we went all out with the strawberry cheesecake, the pistachio strawberry mousse cake, and the dark chocolate mousse cake. The one that had pistachio was terrible--everything tasted artificial and the texture wasn't right. The chocolate one was OK. Luckily the cheesecake was where it was at. It's not Junior's-level or anything, but compared to the other two, it stood out. We're glad we came here to have tried it once and we had a good time as a family, so it'll be a fond memory. We don't feel a pressing need to return, but we would recommend it for folks to try once.
