First huge shout out to Shay. I loved every minute with her. She knows her wines and you need to ask for her to be your server. The booth under the picture of Selena is fabulous. We enjoyed the wine, the food, the decor and the discussions. I picked Capital Grill for my husbands bday and it was perfection. They have a Duckhorn Winery wine flight paired with dinner. Do it!!!! Duckhorn winery was my first ever wine diner in 2005 or 2006 so I knew we were in for a treat. The steaks were juicy and cooked to perfection. They had a card and confetti waiting at the table. I can not recommend this restaurant enough.

Nice place to celebrate a special day. We came here for a birthday and they had confetti on the table along with a cute birthday card message- very nice touch. The meal was great, we ordered the French onion soup but aside from the cheese, the soup was not hot. I've always had the soup delivered in a piping hot container . The seared ahi tuna was great, filet mignon and tenderloin was also great. Lobster tail was good and I loved the truffle fries. The roasted beet salad is a must.

We came here for lunch on 03.23.26 to celebrate a couple of long-awaited victories over The Man. Jena at the bar took great care of us and was a real treat to meet. We had the lunch special which for $28, comes with one selection from assorted starters (soups and salads) and another selection from assorted plates (steak, salmon and chicken). We each had the Capital Grill Salad, a nice assortment of field greens and veggies topped off with a beautiful vinaigrette. Our steak frites lunches were superb. The steak was done perfectly and was expertly seasoned. The aji verde was an unusually tasty accent for the steak. The duck fat frites were decadent. Also perfectly done and paired with a herb aioli. For the price and quality, lunch was a steal. For dessert we had the cheesecake, which really should be illegal. It is that good. This was our first time here but we are aiming to become regulars at this establishment. Thanks, Jena, and thank you, Capital Grille, for a lunch celebration worth remembering.

I've been back twice since my last review. And I'm still in love with the perfectly cooked food but service as well. My second visit was at the bar for happy hour during a weekday with a coworker. Got the chef's special, creamed spinach, and Sam's mashed potatoes with a Peach Bourbon Smash to pair. Lovely. Most recent was yesterday. All the bar tables reserved. First come first serve for the bar. Luckily we found seats and the bar was making nonstop drinks. Busy Saturday! There were a few mixups with my order, but Frank, the main bartender and our server, and another gentleman corrected any issues. The service here is so good. I will be back! I love this place.

Took family here for my wife's birthday. We have been to Capital Grille in other cities and we're looking forward to typical top shelf service and food. Service was slow and attention to detail unimpressive. High point of meal was the steak tartare, which was very delicious. The steaks and sides were good not great. There are plenty of great steakhouses in Dallas, was hoping this would be one but not so much...

In Dallas and had something to celebrate. We had the calamari that was terribly salty and no good. Then onion soup and a wedge salad. Both which were great. We also both had the steak au poivre and both were great but cooked med rare for most of them but medium towards one end. We both had the same issue. Very odd...we ordered med rare. Although great food with one exception, we expected better. Maybe an off night. Super busy!

My wife and I were celebrating our 27th year together and 24th wedding anniversary! We typically dine at Truluck's, also in Southlake, for special occasions, however we decided to change it up a bit. And boy were we happy we made that decision! David (not Dwayne ) made the dining experience a night to remember. We were first greeted pleasantly at the door by the hostess with a warm Happy Anniversary greeting. We then were exhorted to our table that was set up quite nicely for the occasion. Then our waitresses (yes I said waitresses) always checked on us to make sure we were taken care of. We were also greeted by the manager, David quite often. He was certainly a character with a great sense of humor and kept us smiling. David even gave us a couple of really nice gifts to take home. Our second waitress also offered us a delicious dessert sampler that consisted of chocolate cake and cheese cake! All in all it was an amazing experience. We will definitely be back!

My boss took our work group here to celebrate my 15th year at my company and this was a great place to celebrate! When we arrived, we were immediately escorted to our own private dining room, the Carroll Shelby Room, named after none other than! The room was nice, with pictures of Shelby and his works on the wall. Our server, Grayson, did a great job! We were a large group but he never missed a beat with us. We were well taken care of throughout our entire experience. For appetizers we ordered Calamari and also Crab Cakes. Both were perfectly prepared. I also had a cup of delicious New England Clam Chowder. For my main course I enjoyed the Salmon on Cucous with Asparagus. And then for dessert, I enjoyed the Seasonal Berries and Cream. This was a great experience from start to finish! Review #2172

I thoroughly enjoyed my first experience at The Capital Grille in Southlake. I went last week to celebrate my anniversary and the staff was extremely kind and accommodating. I absolutely loved the table decor that they did to help us celebrate our special day. The food was delicious, the drinks were refreshing and the dessert was unlike any other! I ordered the salmon, au gratin potatoes, brussel sprouts and the coconut pie. Shay was such an amazing server and she made me want to plan my next visit. Can't wait to dine with her again. She was so knowledgeable and sweet!

We had a private room for a very large group. Had 2-3 servers helping and they met all our needs. All the food was excellent.

Steak was cooked to perfection, the salad was very well balanced and extremely tasty. The service was great and the ambiance was moody. Best salad I've had in a very long time. If not ever!

He's at the bar atmosphere is pretty cool. I eat steak based every Thursday at ALLES and there fillet that was done Oscar style was pretty good. 120 coconuts

I was pleasantly surprised by the variety on their menu. The crab cake and roasted chicken breast were both excellent. The ambience is nice, but just a heads-up: it's best suited for families with older kids.

Once again, this was a wonderful Yelp event. Kendall and Postino's, thank you very much…read more We chose to visit around the time of opening. After noon, you can expect the crowd to significantly increase and it will become busy. We ran into that, towards the end of our visit. With the increase in traffic, it was nice to be tended by more than one waiter. I didn't think about it then, but I would have loved to tip the second person, as well. When going to Postino's, I always try to get something new and they never fail to impress. Drink: The Mockingbird (Mocktail) - bright pineapple, a touch of Italian orange, and toasted almond bitters. This was very good and is something I'd get again. The Board: Brie, Apple & Fig Spread - this is a repeat for me, I absolutely love it. The apples are always fresh, crisp, and juicy. This is so perfect! Prosciutto Di Parma, Fig & Mascarpone - another repeat, I can't go to Postino's without having this on my board. Mushroom & Mascarpone - If you're a lover of mushrooms, you'll enjoy these little bites. I did notice, we did not get the green onions this time around and I was okay with that. They were removed, due to the current outbreak. Great thinking, Postino's! Salami & Pesto - This always closes the board for me, I love this combination. Although, I will add, I think a different type of salami would work best with this combination. West Coaster Panini - (Smoked ham, smashed avocado, arugula, roasted garlic aioli, pickled red onion, Calabrian chili, feta cheese. For my side, I chose the tomato soup, my goodness, was it good. I must say, it is the best tomato soup, I've ever had. It was creamy, packed with flavor, and complimented my panini so well. Also, they add cheese tortellinis to the soup as well. So, good! This was very delicious, the ham stood out and wasn't muted. However, I think I will get another bread next time. I chose the focaccia, it was a bit too much bread for that particular sandwich. I will admit, it doesn't beat their prosciutto and brie panini; that sandwich is divine. Hot Donut Dots - (House made ricotta donut holes with salted butter chocolate, caramel and vanilla glaze dipping sauces.) These are superb and packs a lot in one bite. The cream in the middle is so smooth and full of flavor, but is very heavy. I'm not a cookies and milk person, but this dessert craves a tall glass of milk. They were hot, fresh, and I appreciate the fact that even when fried, they were not swimming in grease. The vanilla dipping sauce was my go-to, of the three sauces. They did well with this dessert, it hit all of the bases. Postino's is a great place to visit with friends, a date, or even as a solo-day/night out. They are one of my top 5 restaurants and I don't see that changing, ever!

Soon after they reopened for dine in we went to celebrate a friend's birthday. Service was disappointing and the food was okay. I figured staff count might have been low at that time. So when friends asked us to go recently I thought it was time. We went on a Monday during their 4 for $44 anniversary deal. Service was okay again. It did seem to improve as our meal was almost over. I must say the Steak & Tater Totter Bites were delicious! I was excited to try the Artichoke, Potato and Leek soup. It is all puréed and I would have liked some chunks of artichoke in it, but it was good. I went with the Chicken Oscar, because I love crab and it sounded really good. It was good, but not as good as I had hoped. The lemon bar was not great, but my husband had the Orange Vanilla Cream Cheesecake, which we had had before, and it is very good. The restaurant was extremely crowded on a Monday night. The tables are very close together and it was very loud. It is a very popular restaurant and I have friends that really like it.

I almost sent them back (but then I never know if they are going to spit in them or something, I think I have sent back 2 things in my entire life, so I wasn't really keen on that idea) I will say the horseradish sauce they came with was excellent, especially on the 25% of pieces I could actually chew easily
