Salad was terrible!!! Lettuce was old they didn't even mix it around so the tomato, cheese and chicken was at the bottom. The salad dressing was warm. Service was very slow and the place was empty Cashier Coung was RUDE! Did not speak, may I take your order and that was it. Reprimanded the staff while there was a few customers in the store. I've been twice to the one in Anaheim off Magnolia. I love that they greet you when you walk through the door, "Welcome to Firehouse." The buns are warmed and soft which is a huge plus. I got the tuna both times and it was creamy, lite and full of flavor. Lots of toppings to select from and a good price for the size. Service is quick and friendly. read more

This review is for Monday, 4/20/20. I placed an online order for pick up at 7:30pm. Upon arriving, I was very surprised to see several people in the store, that were NOT practicing social distancing and/or not wearing face masks. I was very surprised that there were no markers to keep customers from standing so close to each other while in the store and there was no monitoring of how many customers were in the store at one time. The workers were busy, and it took a while for one to acknowledge I was there for a pickup. There was no care given to current protocol that all places that are open for business are currently supposed to be following. I will not be visiting this location again while the pandemic is going on. Other businesses have abided and make their customers follow guidelines, not the case here, I did not feel safe at all. read more

I went to this location ordered a gluten free sub and a regular sub first off the guy tells me that it's gluten free bread but not a " gluten free experience" I mean I get it but come on at least try. Waited over outside for my sandwiches for ten mins the guy comes out and says they are out of gluten-free bread do I want it on white or wheat, like really, i'm gluten intolerable so I can handle a little cross-contamination. I'm so upset it's hard to find place that offers gluten free options and this is only the second time I've been here I loved it the first time but after this I won't be back to this location. Food is great but the manager Sam very rude in correcting the two staff today. I understand they were busy and the poor guy was trying hard to do cashiering and making a sandwich at the same time . I heard Sam say don't just put the sandwich on the side when u done I told you already. By far my favorite sub shop in Orange County. I love Firehouse Subs ap. It's so easy to place an order and accumulate points quickly. My family and I are busy at church Sundays so it's nice to order ahead of time, a day ahead if necessary, so we can simply pick up our order on the way home. My favorite sub is their "Smokehouse Beef n' cheddar brisket ". The ratio of barbeque sauce to mayo is perfect. The best barbeque sandwich I've ever tasted. I ordered from this place online and stopped into the store during my lunch break from the college nearby. My first impression when ordering was that it was pretty expensive considering what you get, but I attributed that to the expense of their ingredients. I picked up my order, and the staff took a while to acknowledge us while we were waiting, but they were semi nice when they finally did. I ordered the Firehouse Hero with potato soup, and my friend ordered the Italian with a salad. The food was mediocre. I understand it's just a sandwich, but Subway also sells "just sandwiches," and I would say Subway Sandwiches are slightly better while also being at a lower price point. The potato soup was probably the best thing. My friend also told me her food was just okay. So overall, I would say the price point is too high for the food served so we won't be ordering from here again. 5/10 read more

This location just recently opened up in a brand new outside food court area including Rite Aid. I've never been to Firehouse before so I figured I would try something new today. I came in and ordered the Turkey Bacon Ranch. This sandwich is definitely 5 star worthy unfortunately I had to give it a 4 star due to I specifically asked if it came with pickles. The cashier who rung me up said oh you get one on the side. So of course I get home no pickle! Big disappointment since I saw in another persons review they included a pickle with this exact sandwich. I would think for $11.42 you would include a pickle. Oh well... read more

I've been seeing this chain of restaurants open up everywhere lately and since there's one close by to me, I figured why not give it a try? I wasn't expecting much as there are just so many different sub sandwich eateries out there, but thankfully I was pleasantly surprised. I ended up ordering the pastrami sub with chips. The bread was nice and soft and the meat was very tender and tasted fresh. Unlike other sub joints I've been too, I appreciated the fact that this place has a theme (firehouse) and was apparently started by a real firefighter(s?). Kudos to you Mr. Fireman. I also liked that the place was very clean and seems to be well kept. I really hope they continue to do so for the years to come. So this is a recommendation from me, check it out, they bring a welcomed addition to the sub category or eateries. read more

Came here on a Sunday and the owners greeted me enthusiastically! They have a wide selection of sandwiches and I got a Turkey Bacon Ranch. It was so good - there was about 8 oz of meat in there and the bread was soft yet slightly toasted on the inside. The sauces that came with the sandwich was tasty already but you can choose different (hot) sauces as well. My mom came in full already from eating earlier but she ate faster than I did. Service was super friendly and the sandwiches came out fast. I love that part of the proceeds will be donated to first responders. Will definitely be coming back!! read more

My boyfriend and I drive from Long Beach to this location fairly often. We are OBSESSED, needless to say. The sammys are always so fresh and yummy. I love the staff here, too. Although, The owner/manager (bald guy) seems SUPER rude and bossy to his staff- BUT, they don't let it bother them which I can truly understand the struggle of someone constantly looking over your shoulder and questioning your every move. I used to work in a similar sub shop for 3 years in high school and it reminds me of what i had to deal with. It kinda made me upset for them as I ate my sandwich. Im so sorry to the staff there! You don't deserve to be talked to like that. Despite this, sandwiches are brilliant and come out hot and quick. Our fave is always the Turkey bacon ranch! Fire! We will be back, as always. read more

As a long time customer of the Orange location, I have been eagerly waiting for this new one to open. Tried it today, and overall it is very good. The quality of the sandwich is excellent. The bread is awesome, and it is served warmed (well, mine and my boyfriend's anyway. I get the Hook and Ladder and he gets The Italian.) This location does feel a bit cramped, though. The space between the counter and wall is narrow, and I can see that feeling crowded if there were a line of people waiting to order and several people sitting. I think if they removed the tables there and added a wall counter with bar stools, that would be a better fit for the space. One negative on our visit today is that I asked for no onion, but my sandwich had onions anyway. My boyfriend asked for pickles to be added, but they forgot the pickles. Hopefully this was a mistake by a new employee who will get better over time. Other than that, it's a good spot comparable to other Firehouse Sub locations. We'll be back for sure! read more
