I love Firehouse Subs. This location had especially friendly workers who did a great job making our delicious turkey subs. They even recommended their favorite hot sauces for us to try. Firehouse is different because of their thinly sliced, warm meat. Reminds me of Schlotzky's, except they aren't served on muffuletta-type buns. I also love that they will add cut-up pickles and bell peppers to your sandwich on request. This location was smaller than others I've been to, but it was clean and all of the employees were focused on customer service. Great job! read more

Terrible experience from the person taking the order to my finished sandwich. I've been eating here for months and have never been asked the amount of questions regarding my sandwich. I Walked up and ordered a Turkey sandwich, with lettuce, tomato, provolone cheese, dry and toasted. Worker asked me restate my order by telling Him what I do not want in my sandwich. After I told him what I do not want, he then asked me to tell him what I want in my sandwich which lead me to repeat how I originally ordered my sandwich. Get this....then I was asked a question that I have never been asked before, Do you wAnt your meat steamed or cold? Final result.....My sandwich has cold bread, cold cheese, and taste horrible. I went to Firehouse subs for the first time when there was a special offer for T-Mobile customers. While I was waiting in line I noticed that the counter attendant was being very rude to customers with the T-Mobile promotion. When I got to the counter he continued his abrasive behavior especially when I asked for turkey only on the sandwich promo (the sandwich was a turkey and meat combo) he told me there were no substitutions. I replied that I was not asking for a substitution I just wanted turkey only. He told me I wouldn't get the full amount of turkey, which I told him I was fine with, but he continued on and on that there were no substitutions. At that stage I didn't want anything from such an ugly person. I asked to speak with the owner and he said he was the owner. I left there with no sandwich and very upset needless to say. This place has decent sandwiches but awful customer service. You try and call in an order so that you're not having to sit inside a restaurant waiting for your food in a time like this and they answer and say can you please hold and they place you on hold before you respond. I was on hold for over 10 minutes waiting to order a six inch tuna sub. I guess they take the phone orders LAST, once every one has cleared out. I even asked to speak with a manager, "Kent", after I called again and the same rude girl asked me to hold. I was waiting for another 5 minutes before I hung up. 15 minutes total, and I couldn't get anyone to help me, what a joke. We're supposed to call and try and "be safe" by practicing this "contactless" pick up thing, how does this company expect to stay in business during a pandemic when you can't even get anyone on the phone to actually place an order the proper way. Love this place! Tried it for the first time when our administration clerk ordered for some kind of employee appreciation thing. I looked it up and noticed there was one close to me on magnolia. I was obsessed and was having my favorite sandwich at least once a week. I've cut back now but still love this place, my favorite sandwich is the Italian and I add chopped pickles and cucumbers....drool... i also love all the selection of hot sauces they have. Due to the mandates and all the Covid restrictions and mask wearing requirements I completely understand certain businesses enforcing all these things. Orange County is not as strict as most other counties in California on the mask wearing Requirements. However, i didn't catch her name but this Asian Women was completely RUDE!! Yes, I forgot my mask in my car and completely forgot yes it's my mistake. But, the first greeting I get when walking in the door is an aggressive passive aggressive tone from her " Do you have a mask"?!!! Customer service is not this woman's strong suit. My advice next time would be to take a more professional approach and please ask/ remind the customer to put a mask on before entering the business. Look we have been in the pandemic for over 2 years now folks. I'm not a fan as of millions of other Americans nation wide. Paid 35 dollars for two sandwiches and two drinks. Halfway through my sandwich I pulled a two foot long black hair out of the half eaten sandwich in my mouth. Absolutely disgusting, if I spend 14 dollars on a sandwich let's just assume people don't want hair in it. The sandwich was good up to the point where I got a mouthful of hair but when I called to complain, and hopefully get a new sandwich, it was after closing and they refused to answer the phone. Ordered through UberEats yesterday after a long day of work, got the pastrami and the turkey ranch bacon. I don't know if it's just me but it was more in the bland side for my taste. Turkey Ranch Bacon, had more cheese than I tasted the peppercorn ranch, Pastrami, the meat was tender and amazing but still bland. But the bread was so soft and loved the honey wheat. I've had the opportunity to check out three locations; Santa Ana, Chino Hills, and Anaheim. Recently, the Ruben sandwich was featured...for a limited time. Last weekend, 7/8/18, I went to the Anaheim location and was informed that the 'limited time' was over and the Ruben sub was no longer available. I was disappointed but my second choice was still a very good sandwich. On Tuesday, 7/10/18, I went to the Santa Ana location. The usual greetings "How are you today?" and I answered, "Fine, but I'm really missing your Ruben sandwich." Well, Santa Ana didn't hesitate, saying they could make that for me. And I told the story of my visit to Anaheim. I'm still surprised that Anaheim firmly told me that I was out of luck. Chino Hills is a great location, too, but Santa Ana ROCKS! Anaheim might want to ask for a few customer service tips from them. Food is great at all locations. read more

I got the firehouse "hero" sub meal with chicken noodle soup instead of chips. The drink that comes with the meal was any size, so I ordered the large and it was definitely large. The soup was good, kind of small for having to pay an additional $1.99 on top of the already $2.99 meal, but still tasty. Now for the sandwich. A medium is, I believe, 8in. It contained a good amount of meats and had a nice flavor. They also ask if you want to add additional toppings for no extra charge, so I added olives and salt/pepper. Half of the medium sub with the soup was enough to fill me. So I took the other half to-go and it was just as delicious the next day. The sandwich was served with a pickle spear, as all good sandwiches are, and it was a good pickle to go with a good sandwich. I do think that the pricing was a little much for a sandwich, but it goes to a good cause so I'm not complaining. read more
