I recently stopped by Firehouse Subs and had a really great experience. One thing that stood out right away was their new fry concept, which they just rolled out nearly five months ago. The fries were like a regular/crinkle design, and they were crispy, had a great crunch, and honestly tasted top tier for fast food. The special sauce they give with it was really good. I ordered the Chicken n Cheddar Rancher, and also tried the Spicy Cajun Chicken sandwich. Both were packed with flavor and made really well. The bread was fluffy, the sauces were on point, and everything just came together perfectly. On the Chicken n Cheddar Rancher, I added bell peppers, jalapeños, and honey mustard, and that combination took it to another level. Every bite had the perfect balance of heat, sweetness, and savory flavor. Out of fast food sandwich spots, in my opinion this easily beats Jersey Mike's Subs, Ike's Love & Sandwiches, and Subway without a doubt. read more

Better than your average sandwich shop. My husband and I went for lunch and I was very excited to find this location in our area, as the only other one I knew about is in Anaheim. The young woman who waited on us was so nice and friendly - I was very impressed with her. Food is delicious and good portions. I had the mac and cheese, with the option of bacon which of course I got, because BACON! My husband had the meatball sandwich topped with pepperoni. We were in town for a track meet. My daughter needed a little carb in order to power through. We stopped at firehouse sub. The experience was seamless. I love that they had a tablet that you could order on and make customizations on. She has a peanut and tree it allergy so this was really great way to see everything that came on the sandwich and customize it down to what would suit her needs. read more

I'm upgrading my review to 4 stars because this place really doesn't get the credit it deserves. Food prices are more on the expensive side but the quality and portions are so worth it. Service is super friendly and quick to prepare the sandwiches. This location is clean and has easy to read menus to make your decisions. Excited that there's a Firehouse Subs in the neighborhood! Sure, it's a franchise. Of all the sandwich chains, this one is definitely a fave with their solid selection of warm subs and hot sauces. Like so many hot sauces. It's like the Hot Ones of sandwich chains. There's something for everyone! There are self-service kiosks for ordering, or you can place it at the counter. Wait-time for the sandwiches is kind of long, but service is friendly and the food is solid. My favorite is their chicken + bacon club, with added veggies. My husband swears by their barbecue sauce slathered options. Again, something for everyone. Is it worth the cost? Not in my humble opinion but like-- is anything? 2025 has not been kind to our pockets. ~$18/person for an 8inch sandwich combo does seem pretty brutal. So a Firehouse Subs popped up right next to me, and of course I had to give it a try. First impression? The prices. My large Carolina Triple Stack rang up to about $22 with tax -- at that price, I half expected it to come sprinkled with gold flakes. The sandwich itself? Not bad, not great. Definitely edible, maybe a notch above Subway, but nothing that blew me away. The meat and bread were pretty average, and for that kind of money, I was hoping for fireworks. Ordering was easy with the touchscreen, and service was fine -- though my "fast food" sandwich still took about 10 minutes. The inside was clean but pretty tight; not the kind of place I'd want to linger for lunch. To be fair, the large really was large, but overall the price didn't feel justified. I could not be more happily surprised by my first visit here! I have two words for you "fresh bread". The roll was absolutely delicious. It was warm, lightly toasted, soft and delectable. They won me over just with the bread. Then, add sweet honey ham. The ham was almost like meat candy! The provolone was slightly melted and creamy. The other major bonus was the pickle spear that is included with each sandwich. I loved the wrapping in the box. It was very easy to eat out of the container and the sandwich didn't get smashed at all. There is a good variety of chips also. They carry coke products which I drastically prefer over pepsi. My only reason not awarding 5 stars is the price. It was 20 dollars each for sandwich and chips without drinks. For 4 sandwiches, 5 chips and one drink it was over 80 bucks. This new spot opened up in a plaza that seems new too! It's only my 2nd time coming to a firehouse sub, but T-Mobile Tuesdays brought me here. I ordered and checked reviews of the place while I waited. I was surprised at the negative reviews, wtf. Every interaction I had was super nice from the person who got my order to the person who gave me the food. Feels like the other are trippin' over nothing. Came to try out our towns newest addition for fast food subs one of my favs that we haven't had in town, my first impression is that there are still some kinks to be worked out in the ordering and service department. The location is pretty small inside so we took our food to enjoy at home instead. The food is decent but I wouldn't say it's all worth the price we paid for what we got. I've waited for quite some time for a Firehouse Subs to open in my area. I recently discovered one had opened in Bellflower, just a couple of miles from my home. I got excited, because I had been dying to try the beef brisket sandwich with cheese and barbecue sauce. I placed the order online. I was a little shocked at the high prices compared to say, Subway. But I was willing to give this place a chance. About 10 minutes later, I arrived at the restaurant which looked like it was in a new shopping plaza on Bellflower Blvd. However, I was a bit put off by the limited parking behind the building, but thankful to have found a parking spot, even though it wasn't close to the entrance. My impression of the interior was that it was rather small. There were a few tables along one wall and a table near the door. Even though I had placed my order ahead of time, I still had to wait about 5 minutes for them to complete my order. But, the service from the employees on duty was friendly and pleasant. Once I got home with my sandwich, I gave it a try. It didn't look like the sandwich depicted on the website and TV commercials. It had a good enough flavor, but it didn't exactly wow me. At least it satisfied both my hunger and my curiosity, but I doubt I'll be coming back anytime soon, if ever. read more

We love fireman's subs. Don't get me wrong. Bring the new location, we are happy to have one in bellflower now. HOWEVER, they lack stuff that the Anaheim and other locations have, the biggest two for us; helpful people and the infamous cherry limeade. They told us they can't have the machine because "it's too much money" then why advertise the cherry limeade two different places in the location. They also forgot my garlic bread on my meatball sub even though I paid extra on it. They wouldn't allow us to redeem rewards and they were not social and made us order off a kiosk. Disappointed and would love to talk to management about changes needed here. It's too expensive to have mistakes and behaviors in this way, especially being so new. Hope this changes. read more

Tried ordering a combo,however - soda machine has been out for several weeks (had been in week prior). They offer a bottled soda (which they only had Sprite). Asked for a cup to get ice (since paying for a combo) and was offered instead a cheap water cup - type you cant put a lid on. I walked in at 12-30 and I expected I will be in line for a while, it was lunch hour. There was no line and there were only two people having lunch at one table. I stood there for 7'minutes and none of the three staff members told me that one of them will be helping me. So on the 8th minute I walked out. There was absolutely no reason for one of them to let me know that they will be helping me and for me to wait. Nothing!!!! This is strictly about the children's menu, I am waiting for my delivery for two medium subs and one kid meal sub. I don't think it's fair to assume kids don't eat vegetables on their sandwich or want condiments. The kids menu does not give you the option for veggies or condiments. I get it that not all kids eat this, but there are kids who do! At least give the option to order with these items. My take is they are assuming by allowing a sandwich with these items that adults will order, however even if an adult is ordering off the kids menu they are still paying. These sandwiches are trash !! I prefer a real deli sandwich. The bread was too soft. The meat was mushy. No way. Never again !!!

Hot inside the store, the food prep workers did not have any hair net on their beards so you are possibly getting beard pubics hairs in your sandwich, and the price for a single sub (medium) was over 17$. Everyone is so sweet and joyful in this restaurant! The laughs and connections to see around with the customers and employees makes me feel welcome! Their subs are so delicious! I placed an order online and when I arrived to pick up my order it wasn't ready. I sent my teenage children in to pick up my order and they were told my order would be ready in "5" minutes. I waited the time and inquired with my children if my order was ready and they told me it wasn't. I entered the establishment and Cassandra assisted me and informed me that they hadn't started working on my order. I asked her to cancel my order as the "due time" for my ordering being ready had passed. I asked for a receipt of proof of the refund and she provided me a receipt that said $0.00! The receipt didn't say refunded. I inquired about receiving a receipt that shows that my card would be refunded and she attempted to print out another but it still showed $0.00. Cassandra placed a call to another team member ( I assume) that was not at the facility for help. She was told, and informed me, that that is how the refund receipt prints out. I insisted further on proof of the refund since I didn't receive the items I ordered due to them not being ready. Eventually I had to take a picture of her computer screen that said "voided", and was told I should receive the refund back to my card in 1-2 business days. Welp were on business day 3 and my $ hasn't been refunded to my account. I had to call my bank to dispute the charge. Now I have to wait 10 more days for a resolution from my bank as they informed me that they didn't show a pending credit on their end from firehouse subs. read more
