Took FOREVER, mostly because they had a large catering order covering all of the tables in the middle of lunch time that they were slowly adding to. I hope the people receiving that order understand that their food has been sitting out unrefrigerated for quite some time.

Tried to place an order at 12:30. I was asked to hold. Six minutes later I hung up. When I called back it said Karen's voicemail box was full. More than 10 calls back. I drove to the location thinking they must be really busy. Maybe a dozen people total. I asked to speak to the manager. It took a few minutes as she was jacking her jaw. I asked what's the problem with the phone. She said she'd have to call the owner and find out. What? Got home with two sandwiches. One had a long hair in it. Never going back.

In and out!! I ordered my food online through the app and I've never done that before. As soon as i walked in it was crowded, i felt overwhelmed wondering did they get my order. Then my name was called! Got my food without any problems and everything was correct! Great turkey jerk sandwich!

Stopped in for lunch between classes. Prompt friendly service. Foods fresh and as desired. Will return in the future.

This place has kind of ruined me for sandwiches. I know I should try some of the other sandwiches they have, but I am stuck on this one. This particular spot is a deli sandwich place; they do have some standout choices, but I was craving tuna, so I ordered their Pacific Blue (Tuna Melt). Loved that they toasted the buns; it was good but didn't wow me. They skimped on the cheese and didn't add the jalapeños I requested. Service was incredibly slow, but there was a huge rush-hour crowd, so I'll overlook it. All in all, the theme is cool. Loved that they had vendors and music available the day we went; it gave us an opportunity to have something to do while we waited. I did spot board games, but naturally didn't think we'd need them. The goo ball was overly buttery and definitely had peanut butter. It was good for the first couple of bites but I quickly tossed it afterward once it became too much. If a deli is your thing, give it a try. I'm sure on any other given day they'd be better at delivering a sandwich with everything.

The oldest sub shop in Texas is not a title you stumble into, and one visit makes it clear they've earned it. First, the parking situation, because someone has to say it. The spots up front are scarce and competitive. Don't give up, there's additional parking in the back with its own entrance. File that away before you go, or you'll spend ten minutes circling a strip that has not gotten larger since the 1970s. And speaking of the 1970s, the interior leans fully into its vintage identity. Small, dark, and unapologetically retro, it feels like a sub shop that missed the memo on modern restaurant design and decided it didn't care. Honestly, respect. Now, the subs. Galligaskin's cuts their own meat and cheese in house and bakes their rolls fresh daily, which is the kind of thing that sounds like marketing until you take a bite and realize it actually matters. The roast beef and cheese, loaded with toppings, is a proper sandwich. The house-made Galli Oil and pickled pepper finish that goes on every sub is the secret weapon - not spicy, just deeply flavorful, the thing that makes each bite a little better than the last. We also tried the burger, which came as a genuine surprise. A sub shop doing a burger well feels like it shouldn't work, but here we are, soft bun, flavorful patty, no notes. For sides, the Tater Tots are the undisputed champion of the table. Crispy shell, fluffy interior, the ideal tot. The fried okra was a strong runner-up, well breaded and served with ranch. The French fries, however, were a swing and a miss. They looked the part, golden, fresh cut, promising - and then arrived soggy. A limp fry is a tragedy in any zip code, and these were no exception. No one wants a sad potato. Order the tots. Skip the fries. You've been warned. Galligaskin's in the real deal, a Fort Worth original that's still earning its reputation one fresh-baked roll at a time. One last night: they're closed on Sundays, so plan accordingly. A cruel fact to discover in the parking lot.

The young woman at the register was very nice while taking our order and patient as it was our first time. The inside was a bit tight, yet welcoming but understandable for a small local business. The young lady brought out half our order. I had asked for the chicken to be warm on my salad, it was not. No biggy the flavor was good. But we had gotten about half way through our meal and the rest of the order was not out. My wife waited in line to ask about it. When she got to the register an older woman was very short and dismissive with her. My wife put in a second order for my daughter, to go. The rest of our order did not come out till our to go order did. My wife was not happy with the dismissive attitude so she went to the car. I went up to order dessert and the same older woman was not very personable while taking my order. Overall the food was good, the atmosphere was comfortable, but the interaction with the older woman changed our experience. We may or may not try it again. And the dessert was fantastic.

After my first visit, I completely understand why. When I walked in, I was immediately welcomed and kindly guided through parts of the menu I wasn't familiar with. Mediterranean food usually isn't my go-to, so I appreciated how patient and helpful they were without making me feel out of place. I ordered the beef shawarma plate with tzatziki and hot sauce on the side, then sat at the barstools near the food prep area while I waited. Watching the owner prepare the food was honestly part of the experience. At one point, he came over and insisted I try their tea. I initially declined, but he smiled and said he'd only pour me half a cup. That small act of kindness and hospitality genuinely sold me on this place. The restaurant was clean, quiet, welcoming, and smelled incredible. And yes, absolutely try the tea. It was a custom Earl Grey blend made specifically for them, and it was fantastic. When I got home, I was surprised by how generous the portions were for the price. Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully balanced. The spices were used perfectly, the produce tasted fresh, and the food even held its temperature well by the time I got home. I've only been here once so far, but I already plan on becoming a regular, probably at least once a week. Y'all are doing an amazing job, and I'm really glad I found this place.
