I ordered through DoorDash. It ended up being $20 for a small sub, chips, and a drink. Of course DoorDash has their fees, but the food itself was $13. I'd be okay with that if the sandwich wasn't so small. The sandwich was $7.40. It was so tiny and was missing half the ingredients. It was just meat and cheese. It's supposed to have lettuce, tomato, onion, mustard, etc.

It's been awhile since I'd given Firehouse Subs a chance. My husband suggested their pastrami sandwich as something different. I found the texture unappetizing and the bread took over any flavor the pastrami might've had. It's not a good ratio of bread to meat. I only finished half and tossed the remainder. This will be our last visit.

First time eating at this chain. Fast service but could be friendlier. Almost out of unsweet tea at self-service area. Food arrived warm and tasty. Signed up for reward program and entered today's receipt. Will definitely try it again sometime!

I went in for lunch one day and it was busy. The food was good. However, it took multiple attempts to get ny order correct. It may not have helped that the person taking my order decided to take a phone call while talking to me. He repeatedly asked me if I wanted a drink. I repeated said I did not want a drink. He entered my order with a drink. When I saw the receipt, I asked for it to be corrected. Another employee told me to just take the drink. The point was that I wanted my money back. My order was also late because the people making the sandwiches were confused with how it was entered. I am trying to give them grace because I know places are short on staff and my yelling at them won't make anything better. The people who made my sandwich were apologetic. I will just chalk this up to a bad day. We all have them.

This is a very tiny firehouse location. Not very many dine in seats. Very accurate and friendly staff- ordered the usual, meatball sub. Just love these!!! Very good subs!!! If we are in the area we will be back!!

    Steak n Cheese: minus onion/mustard: To Go~

Pretty darn good~ To go order: Steak n Cheese, minus onion/mustard, no combo. Right under 6 bucks, came with a pickle. I will be returning again cause I cannot recall the last time I've had a sub this well done from a chain food type store(i.e. Subway, etc).

Love the subs here. One of my favorites is the Firehouse Hero. Roast beef, smoked turkey breast, Virginia honey ham, and melted provolone. I get mine Fully Involved; Loaded complete with mayo, deli mustard, lettuce, tomato, onion, and a kosher dill pickle on the side. Meats are refresh as is the bread and veggies. Definitely stop in for a hot toasted sub. I like eating in the firehouse inspired(dig) dining area. Soda machine is one of the 160 some odd combo fountains. If you don't find a soft drink to your liking here, your not trying.

I have been here many of times. Staff is real friendly and food comes out fairly quick, unless you come at the height of lunch rush. I have only tried 2 subs thus far, the Firehouse Meatball ($5.89 med. sub only, $7.98med. sub w/ drink and chips) and the Steak and Cheese ($6.19 med. sub only, $8.18med. sub w/ drink and chips) my favorite! (Not including tax) I attached a photo of the menu, because there are much more to choose from and upgrades that can be done.

I ordered the Buff Chicken sandwich and added a bag of chips. The sandwich was huge. I couldn't eat the entire sandwich. It was very tasty with a spicy ranch dressing on it. It also had jalapeños but it wasn't too spicy. The staff were very friendly and talked to us about many of their sandwiches and provided recommendations. Whole there was seating in a side room of the deli, we took our orders to go and spend some time with friends at 3rd Turn Brewing down the street.

I'd read about Boone's Deli online and had wanted to visit, but the chance never happened...until…read moreit did. :) On a recent Sunday afternoon we paid Boone's Deli a visit. The local eatery on the other side of Taylorsville Road the weekend before was a huge let down, but we'd heard nothing but good things about Boone's. The menu board isn't a board but actually more like a scroll, with all the menu items written on the 3 rolls of brown (for lack of a better word) packing paper on the wall. HIGH marks for creativity! (Hopefully the menu items don't change TOO often. It would be a headache to write all that stuff down regularly!) I opted for a spicy roast beef sandwich (exactly what I don't remember. I've slept since then). You can also get chips or one of a few types of home made salads (think macaroni salad, potato salad, etc) or cole slaw. I'm a HUGE fan of cole slaw, and in the case it looked delicious and peppery (like me). While they were making our sandwiches we chatted with the owners a bit and they seem like really nice, down-to-earth people. The told us how some of the menu options got their names and a little history of the business. It's really nice to to be able to chat with the owners. It wasn't long before our food was ready. My wife had, basically, a Rueben minus the sauerkraut (I hate that stuff) and a bag of chips. We both got a bottle of water. Our total was about $38. I've seen a number of reviewers comment on the cost of their meals. We had no complaints at all. They're serving Boar's Head meats, which a higher class/higher quality than most restaurants go near. You're also paying for locally, home made foods. I'm willing to bet that not a single food item came ready-made out of a jug or a box that came from Gordon's food. This is genuine food made with care and pride by the owners themselves. There's a small seating are behind the counter area and a much larger seating area outside, but the weather wasn't suited for such chicanery. We REALLY enjoyed our first visit to Boone's Deli. I think they've got a great product and I hope they stay around a long time.

It's the Little Yellow House that is so quaint. The Owner is Susan Woodward, and she is such a hard worker! Donna, our Server was fantastic! She answered every question, knew everything about every sandwich, every soup and every dessert. She had the fastest assistants that brought us our drinks and kept our glasses filled and delivered our food. Their menu is very well laid out and full of the most amazing lunches. I didn't need to go past the Hot Brown! My husband and I both ordered Hot Browns. This is our very favorite item! It was delicious. There was a lot of tender turkey, covered with the best tasting Mornay Sauce and topped with beautiful tomatoes. I'm sorry there wasn't enough room to get up and take pictures of everyone's food. I did get a picture of our Hot Brown and our friend's Meatloaf and Chili. You'll just need to stop by and have hunch with them. And don't forget to check out their desserts. They have cake slices, pie slices, strawberry rolls and Cheesecake. Since it was 3/14, Pi Day, their Key Lime Pies were very popular. I posted the 4 pages of the menu for you to look over.
