They have a great mobile app and the subs are always fresh hot and spot on every time I order them! My new favorite here is the club on the sub. It has crispy bacon and turkey for a great combo. When I think of other sub shops around, really none compare to Firehouse subs in terms of consistency especially for a hot sub! If you haven't been before I definitely recommend checking them out. Who doesn't love a good sub? Firehouse Subs has some of the best! I had not been here for a long time & I recently visited on a Sunday for lunch. There were a few dine-in customers and a few people getting takeout. They have many hot and cold options and you can also create your own. The subs have cute firefighter themed names to go with the firefighter themed decor . For a few dollars more, you can get a drink and chips and make it a combo. I was with my mother and I ordered a medium Hook and Ladder. It had turkey and ham piled high on white bread. I didn't order it toasted, but it came out toasted, and it was absolutely fabulous. I had planned on eating half and taking half home for my lunch the next day, but I couldn't resist and ate the whole thing! My mom is really picky, she ordered the steak and cheese and she absolutely loved hers as well. Both subs came with a pickle and they did not take too long to prepare. The prices weren't bad either, each Sub was just under $12. We didn't get a combo. We decided to get a fountain drink. They have the cool machine that makes all different flavors out of Coke products. Love that! The restaurant was clean and the service was friendly. A pretty good Firehouse Subs that is located relatively close to where I live. Every time I come in here it is usually empty so that sometimes worries me because when I am here, the subs that I get are always really good and amazingly prepared! The staff here is super friendly and always insanely fast when it comes to making the sub that I just ordered. They are always friendly and go out of their way to explain what is on each sub when I ask them, when I am looking to try something new. My go-to here is usually the hook and ladder and the amount of meat they put on it is insane! I will say the only thing that I don't like about Firehouse Subs is the prices of their subs are a little on the higher-end compared to other places in the area but you do get what you pay for. My favorite thing about the hook and ladder is how perfectly melted the cheese is on the toasted bread all the time. I also love how all of them meat Blends well with the onions and their onions are not overly strong. The interior of the place is very nicely decorated with a bunch of Fire Equipment on the walls as well as the back story about what Firehouse Subs is. Walked in, first time at firehouse. Got ignored by almost everyone. Once the girl at the register decided to get off her phone. She said how can I help you then walked off. I tried to ask for recommendations as it's my first time. Nothing to say. So I decided on a hot sandwhich. Asked me for my name and if it's to go. I gave that info. Do you know, they made the hot sand-which and threw it in the to gos? Where the uber and ride share people pick up the meals ? lol. Like I was the only one in the store. A nice location with some friendly staff. I came here on my day off and it was pretty empty so it was quick to order what I had wanted. The sub of the day was the meatball sub and thats what I came in for. My order was quick to be made and I decided to have it there. The seats were nice and the tables were clean. The sub came out smoking hot and everything on it was exactly how I wanted it to be. The sauce was flavourful and there was a perfect amount of it so it wasnt soggy. The meatballs were huge and after half of it I was full. Overall a great sub place to stop at and I am glad its right near the house! He finally called, wanted the receipt and would call to get the card number from me to refund my meal. He never called back. I called and left several messages, this owner manager coward, named Carlos refuses to call me. Cover Your Ass In the event that you have the same experience where Carlos refuses to refund you for bad food, make sure you pay with a credit card so you can have the card company perform a "charge back". The card company will take the money from Carlos, refund it back to you and then charge him a nice fee. Carlos has a very long repeat history of FAILING to satisfy customers. It's honestly my favorite sub joint at the moment. I love the bite-sized sandwiches that I can actually fit in my mouth versus like a Publix sub where the bread is ginormous. The ingredients have always tasted fresh and the soda machine is always working and full of options. I can't say I've had a bad experience service-wise yet; there has been a time or two they've forgotten to give me my drink cup or pickles but they quickly rectified the issue. Ordered a medium sub, the steak one. All subs are made fresh and to order so it takes a while, which is fine. Several minutes later as the girl is about to hand it to me, the guy intercepts it and says "Oh, wait you ordered the steak right? I made a club instead, sorry." So I had to wait another 10 minutes (20 minutes total) for my medium sub. I get that mistakes happen and I didn't say anything because the workers were nice and I wasn't trying to take advantage of the situation, but I thought maybe they would have done something for the inconvenience. Not so much as an extra pickle. Asked for hot sauce. They used to have about two dozen bottles, most of which were empty or down to the last ounce. Due to the pandemic they are now down to just a few, which are behind the counter. Not much has changed--I got about half an ounce in a cup to go with an apology that the bottle was almost out. .I went Firehouse subs on Sunday evening after promising my autistic son if he was good over the weekend I'd take him.I tried to use a coupon and the staff rejected it because the coupon said "at participating locations only", they chose not to participate. I wasn't about to let my son down so I grudgingly paid full price.
