This cannot be beat. Get the American cheddar (and extra if you love cheese). Get extra red sauce (jalapeno salsa or something). I like my cheesesteak with mushrooms and jalapeños. He told me that they do and then stated "You won't regret ordering it, seriously." Chuckling, I decided on a half order of that along with a side of potato salad and their side of beans. After taking my first bite, I realized the gentleman was right. This is a dope sandwich! Excellent cured meats in the salamar and pair of hams along with the provolone and melted cheddar with the veggies, spices, italian dressing, and mustard. The bread they use holds up well and has a slight crunch to it. If you prefer your bread to have softness to it, you may have to ask if they can substitute a different bread instead of the italian flat bread they use. But I absolutely love this sandwich the way it is! As for the sides, the potato salad has a slight mustard taste and right consistency with a dash of paprika on top; just the way I like it. The beans are charro beans (I think) that are served steaming hot with some pork trimmings mixed in; I may have dipped my sandwich in it a couple times for flavor explosion. What can I say, I'm adventurous! There's some ferrari memorabilia and posters on the right side where some of the high top seating is. As a Ferrari F1 fan, I appreciate them displaying this here along with the track map of the COTA circuit in Austin. The seating area is spread out nicely with plenty of seats/tables and a drink station with some random signs up. All of interest to consumers like us. Definitely recommend coming here for either the serious sandwich or other delicious ones like their meatball sandwich or manhattan. On some occasions, I'll say, "I'm going to Pullman Market." The beau asks, "What for?" My answer: "To feel inspired." There are a few entrances, but you get the full effect coming through the front passing by the wood-fire grilled wagyu hot dog station before everything opens up around you. There's a little bit of everything here -- plants, produce, sauces, wine, indulgent bakery, coffee, a unique tallow body-care station, beautiful dried and living flower arrangements, and an impressive meat counter. We've especially enjoyed the wagyu, bavette and bone-in pork chops. I love seeing couples, families and solo adventurers wander through, and the whole place feels more like an elevated marketplace food hall you'd stumble into while traveling. The concierge has always been friendly and genuinely helpful. We've picked up food, wine, Momofuku soy sauce, holiday ornaments, skincare and plenty of fresh toasted Sonoran-style corn tortillas -- our favorite tortilla style and one we were delighted to first experience at Mezquite. I also love that Pullman Market lets you bring a little of the restaurant experience home, with select takeaways and ingredients connected to the food concepts throughout the market. On a few visits, we noticed the tortilla count was short, so we double-check before leaving now. When we brought it to management's attention, they were responsive and took care of it. We also once struck out looking for hominy and Mexican cheese, even though several teammembers throughout the market tried to track them down for us. Prices are on the higher end but the rewards program is worth joining if you come often, and I'll review the individual restaurants separately. Sometimes I leave with dinner, sometimes flowers or something unexpected, and sometimes just a few new ideas. Either way, Pullman Market remains one of my favorite Pearl stops for browsing, tasting and expanding the palate.
