This seems to be my time for not great experiences. Maybe it's the holidays. So ordered in the app as usual but two sandwiches as I wanted to save one for the next day. I should've just went for the free smells! I've actually been to several Jimmy John's throughout the country and I'm very disappointed in this one. The staff seems to be lackluster and really doesn't care about their customers. The food itself, stale bread, cause my kids really not to want to eat it. Myself I first ordered a vegetarian sub which all they did was throw cucumber and lettuce on it maybe a few pieces of tomato. Then my wife ordered a tuna sandwich, which was overloaded with vegetables. It doesn't seem like they can get their proper ratios down. Also, when my kids ordered a sandwich, they don't like much on their sandwich. You would think that they would add a little bit of extra meat and cheese with no charge just because their kids. But no, of course just like any other corporate location they want to charge extra so they can make more money. Highly disappointed we will not be going to this location again. I got the fam bam dinner here today: i tried #14 roast beef with turkey, mayo, lettuce, tomato on a 8" french bread roll they bake, the small fry in the family had a SLIM 4 just 8' french roll bread, turkey and cheese no extras and the papa fry had a VITO minus the mayo and tomato (but he likes ketchup and we've been debating that issue since 2006 O_o homeboy still baffles me) I gotta say, it was filling. I didn't even get chips and a drink because the sandwiches alone were filling. I honestly went into a food coma for 2 hours after having one. They don't provide a military discount sooo ehh i'll live, but they have their in house chips and cookies. This location has been going downhill for a long time. Their soda machine hasn't had ice for months, they don't deliver cause the staff calls in, and they have NO customer service skills at all. Since they are known for having no drivers we ordered through DoorDash cause we assumed a dasher would deliver it but you know what they say about assuming. As I write this, I am bathed in the glow that can only be brought by shoving a delicious sandwich straight down my throat. A Jimmy John's restaurant, pretty much as a rule, is an awesome sandwich place. If you're looking for toasted buns or a hot sandwich, go elsewhere, as this is a sandwich's sandwich type of place. A white French baguette is their default bread, made fresh every day. It is amazing and delicious. (Fun fact: you can buy yesterday's French bread for $1 each.) Their wheat bread is thickly sliced and has become my bread of choice. Though all the sandwiches are great, my go-to is the Beach Club, along with a bag of their Salt & Vinegar Jimmy Chips. Yum. JJ's is a little more expensive than Subway, but the extra money you spend at JJ's is money well spent, ensuring that you don't have to eat a pitiful Subway sandwich (I'm sorry, Subway*). This JJ's specifically is wonderful. The sandwich makers are extraordinarily fast, and they're typically done making my sandwich by the time I pay for my food and get my drink. I'm always greeted by several people when I walk in, and have never experienced a cashier that's cranky because they're having a bad day. Every time I choose JJ's for lunch, I notice that there seem to be just so many people working there. A few people making sandwiches, a few manning the registers, somebody restocking the chips, employees restocking sandwich supplies, table-wipers, OPEN sign-dusters, and whoever else just wandering around doing what needs to be done to make that place a dream to visit. However at this location I waited in the parking lot for 20 minutes (order was placed 10 minutes prior) with no update. I decided to go inside and mention I've been waiting for my order. My sandwiches were sitting on their ready counter and the guy just bagged them and said "here you go". Customer service skills = 0. The guac spread is very tasty, although it isn't simply mashed avocados. I like that the veggies are piled high, and you can add sprouts to the sandwich. A bit heavy on the cheese so I remove most of it, but this seems to be the norm when there's one of those peculiar vegetarian sandwiches on the menu...I mean, you couldn't possibly fill a sandwich with JUST vegetables, right?! This is the 3rd time in the past few months that we have got our subs missing the meat. For a business that only makes sandwiches, this seems a little ridiculous, but I wish I was making this up. Just got our order and got back to work to eat, missing meat and avocado in the Beach Club. Naturally called to let them know and see what can be done. Manager did not apologize and said "you can bring it back and we'll remake it." I'm at work now and unable to leave so I asked, "can you send a driver with a new one and you can have this one back, to which he said "That would be an inconvenience to my driver that did not deliver your order." WOW. Your store employee did his job of making a simple sandwich incorrectly and you are concerned with how this may inconvenience you!? The manager was not apologetic, did not care this has happened before, nor offer any other solution than come back or take it as is. Worst customer experience I've seen lately. Jimmy John's is independently franchised and I would strongly suggest you choose another one to go to. This place is horrible.
