The inside of location is dirty the gentleman working behind the counter three of them act like they don't care a bit about what they're doing, there are flies all over the restaurant and even though they're wearing gloves they touch everything with their gloves and then the food. After a few friends suggested I try Firehouse I visited the Weston/Sunrise location. Greeted promptly and informed the staff this was my first visit. They briefly explained all subs are hot, cold cuts cut every morning etc... ordered what they said was #1 best seller Hook and Ladder. Honey ham, turkey cheese, onions, lettuce and tomato. Added the meal for 12 inch sub, chips and medium drink 13 bucks! A little on the expensive side but hopefully I was getting quality. Given a number to put on the table and informed they would bring it to me. I was the only customer (early 11:10 am) and I took a seat. 3 to 5 minutes later food was brought out. At first glance it's a large sub truly 12 inches not like Subway footlong that is only 11 inches. Bread was warm and tasted awesome, fair quantity of meat even though I only tasted the turkey. It was a little too sweat, menu does say made with sweet ham) sub lacked a punch. Overall it's OK but the price is a little on the high side for what you get. Perhaps next visit I will order the Italian and compare that to Jimmy Johnson or Jersey Mikes. read more

The people working there need to be drug tested because there is no way that they can be that clueless. This is my first yelp review ever and I had to do it because of how amazed I was. They could not sell me from the catering menu because he said that he did not know the prices. I asked for a manager and the person said that he was the shift leader. They have decent sandwiches but its not worth waiting 20-30 minutes and they aren't cheap. This place is super slow at making sandwiches. After ordering and paying, I was able to go to Dunkin Donuts and read a magazine and I still had to wait. There were 3 workers and only 2 other people sitting in the place, so I have no idea why it took so long. I've waiting less time at restaurants for a steak or burger. Just not worth it. Get a toasted sub at Subway or any other deli and save yourself a lot of time. Update: I have since gone back multiple times and the management must have changed because everything has significantly improved. Very poor customer service. Person on the line(short hair cut, masculine female) refused to make my sandwich the way requested and rudely proclaimed she would absolutely not do it. Great place! Food is delicious. I think i'm addicted to their chili, of all things... My favorite subs are their Firehouse Meatball and the one with beef brisket and melted cheese-yaaammm! I 'm not much for turkey subs but my friend , a regular at this location, had tried all the different ones they have. She said they were very tasty. They have different sodas - not my thing, but the tea was good. Added a little lemon wedge-perfect! I think I'm getting a craving just writing about it. :0) Stuff are very polite and professional. Worst customer service by a young African American female who is the shift leader. I came in for a large sub today at 7:45pm but they ran out of large bread. The guy at the cashier suggested that he could make a large sub for me out of the two smaller breads they still had like what he did for the customers before me. However, the shift leader said no. I questioned her why since they just did it for the guests in front of me and was told it's because those customers were also employees. I think that it's very unprofessional that she did not try to accommodate a regular customer but had no problem hooking up her friends/co-workers. I can see why this location has so many negative reviews. Next time I'm in the mood for a Firehouse sub, I'll make the extra drive and go to the Plantation location instead where service is always excellent. read more

Horrible. Every single time i've come here (like 4 times) it takes an extraordinary amount of time. whether the place is busy or has NO ORDERS. The kids were takin their sweet time as if they didnt have a care in the world... probably high in my personal opinion. The staff there is Great!!! From Trai to Cristian to Gabby and all the others including Jill Jonnie and Clarissa I want to thank them for serving my family and I they are all respectable and good people. To all those who have never been there I recommend you stop by and give them a chance, have a talk with them and enjoy the atmosphere of that great store in the corner of Weston Rd and Sunrise. You may feel turned off by the negative reviews but once you really get to know the group of characters you won't hesitate to stop by again. Really bad customer service, employees too busy talking amongst themselves to take my order. after that I had to wait almost 15-20 minutes when place was basically empty. While I was waiting I noticed how they would just stand around on their phones while me and the person that ordered before me had to wait patiently for them to finish their conversations before finishing our subs. read more

Wonderful find in Weston. Lively, attentive restaurant in an out of the way strip mall on Weston Road next to fire station. It is a sub shop, but imaginative, high end cuisine for sure. My steak was perfection. I tried my first Hot sub with them today. My husband had an engineer with melted cheese & tons of veggies. The plates were made to perfection and so filling. Almost ashamed to eat all of it. Lol. Eileen and Christian took care of me even more than expected. Completely understanding, I can be picky, and totally made me feel like family.
