Put 5 stars on this wonderful business! I celebrated my birthday with a free sub! Even the owners welcomed me in the chorus of "Welcome to Firehouse" which just warms the cockles of my little black heart! I selected the 2nd row, 3rd sub over on the menu board for my birthday sub. ( You go in there and figure out which one I ordered, as ALL of them are hot and delicious in their own right.) I came early, so I could get the Royal treatment. As I took each flavorful bite, the customers started coming in, a few at a time. By the time I finished, including the tasty pickle, seats were filling up fast as the lunch crowd selected their own delicious, hot, mouth-watering subs, chips and drinks for lunch. A few people also ordered yummy cookies, right there at the register to tantalize your taste buds. I passed. ( birthday cake trumps cookies today!) I'll be back another day for more friendly greetings, great subs, ice cold drinks from the multi-drink selector machine, fresh ice tea, squeezable lemons and limes, great service, good atmosphere and a truly delightful experience every time I go! read more

The worst. I don't know if every location is awful, and never will. My first experience was enough. $50 for two subs and a kids grilled cheese...I got two footlong sandwiches that the dumped upside down in the bag in front of me and a grilled cheese even my toaster could've made without me. Next time I want a sandwich, subway is down the road. And the costumer service is no bid deal since it's quick...stood there waiting for 5 minutes for awful sandwiches hearing all about the 20 something workers gross weekend plans. 20/10 don't even try here. read more

The best subs of all time yeah they might mess up your order but it will still be delicious

My husband and I were seriously disappointed in our sandwiches because they tasted more like mayo and mustard more than anything. There was not enough meat in mine. I would expect my sandwich to have meat from edge to edge but I got more bread than meat. I used to love firehouse but it's been a place I rarely visit now! I keep remembering how the sandwiches used to be and forgetting how bad they have been for a couple years now. My husband refuses to go anymore now. He had the same problem! Way to much condiments! Like enough that it would be double extra! The whole point of a firehouse sub is to taste that meat! I wish I could have a good ole sandwich and I love supporting our local fireman but I can't get my hubs to go anymore now! Birnt meatballs on two subs, wrong bread on one, said no mayo or Italian dressing on sandwich so they removed everything instead so i had to go ask for the mustard that i wanted left on the sandwich, another had everything still on it we asked to be removed. If I'm eating Firehouse I prefer this location. Always clean, awesome staff, convenient location and parking. I love firehouse, they are my favorite sub shop out of any chains in Wichita. The staff has a lot of longer term employees, which is awesome. They have a rewards system, and I get free subs regularly. lol. I've never had any problems. The food is always awesome! read more

SO much better than Subway. My party had the brisket/cheese sub, I had a low-cal sriracha beef. Obviously the regular sub bread was much better than the wheat roll on mine, but still, I'd eat either of these before Subway. HOWEVER, one place Subway outshines, is price. At Firehouse, a medium sub, low-cal sub, one bag of chips and two large drinks was $20. Ouch. So $40 to feed a family of four. I'd rather go to Applebees or something for that price range. I'd go back, but unfortunately Subway will probably get more of my business, as it's cheaper. Lots cheaper. The help was so-so, I guess it's a new store so they're not quite up to speed yet, but nobody smiles (nobody!), and the person taking my order left off one of my items (fortunately I caught it before she totaled it, though she looked at me like I never told her in the first place....heh) Good bread, though, but nothing remarkable overall. Not happy with my experience. Walked in at 8:40, the employees were not friendly in anyway. The receipt was basically thrown at me. Lots of eyes rolled, lots of attitude. I was kicked out at 8:45 and told I could not eat in store because they were closing. Very unhappy and will not be returning, which is disappointing because I really like the food. read more

This location is not wearing face masks. Regardless of your beliefs, any worker who is directly in contact with food should have the proper protective gear. The gentleman who was preparing the sandwiches had a mask around his neck not covering his mouth or nose. He then proceeded to cough and sweat. It was disgusting. Yesterday I went to Firehouse with the fam and it was an absolute train wreck of a 11 o'clock time interval. I was starving, and I was basically eating my own flesh and bones. Sorry bout it. So I was stoked to eat a Meatball Sub. I went there and the soda machine was not working, it was a Sunday 11 o'clock time interval and they had the audacity to not have my Dr. Pepper. I don't think so. So I ended up getting an orange diet soda, because that was all they had. So like the good consumer family we are, we complained to the manager. Easy fix, they got my Dr. Pepper. I was expecting a free Firehouse for life card but what can you do. I get my meatball sub and there was a pickle sitting next to it. The chef should automatically know I don't like pickles. That trick ass bitch. This annoyed me but I continued eating. But when I thought things couldn't possibly get any worse, I was wrong. They burnt the marinara sauce! I was traumatized! I had to basically use my hands like an animal to take the burnt marinara sauce off of my meatballs. What the hell! I wanted to enjoy a nice 11 o'clock time interval with my family but I couldn't because Firehouse took that away from me.
