Welcoming spot located inside the Crown Plaza Hotel. When they were open, I was the 1st to arrive to sit a the bar and watch the games on TV. Quickly greeted and held some great conversation. I took advantage of Happy Hour with some margaritas. The personalized touch on my drinks by John was great. If I had more time, i could of posted up for another hour. I do wish the hours of the bar started around noon vs 4pm, but not a lot of foot traffic I'm sure so I just rolled with it.

My fiancé and I were in town visiting for an event and were staying at the hotel so we decided to check out this place for some food and drinks. When we first arrived we were the only ones there and it was not busy at all. We were greeted and seated right away. We ordered some drinks which were delicious. I am a big fan of lemon drops so that is what I got from here. The place was quiet, clean, and had a casual, laid back atmosphere. We would definitely come here again if were visiting and maybe try some different food and drinks next time!

Our drinks were amazing and the service was amongst the friendliest I've ever encountered, Charles and Maribel were astounding servers and super welcoming. The ambiance was very nice and chill and quiet spot for a nightcap or some of their amazing food thanks again Charles and maribel we'll be sure to return.

I'm staying at the hotel for work and decided against walking out to a local establishment for breakfast this morning. After enjoying my Smashed Avocado Toast with a couple of over-easy eggs I am happy with my decision. Two pieces of fresh multi-grain artisan bread with a flavorful avocado spread & tomato's was a pretty clean breakfast. Of course I was a little hungry and as usual I bypassed the photo on accident. But the presentation on a cutting board was nice.

Check this place out! Happy hour or later. Local or traveling. Ask Beto for the smoked old fashion! You will not be disappointed!

Went for valentines dinner and was really disappointed by what our meal was. It was over priced and under flavored meats.

Food was sub-par. Atmosphere was awkward, felt like we were being stared at the whole time. Also this spot is in a hotel lobby.

We stopped at Calo Kitchen & Tequila one evening with my family on our way to Mexico, and WOW! From…read morethe moment we walked in, we were impressed. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful, the decor is gorgeous, and the atmosphere alone makes it worth visiting. Add in amazing food, great drinks and some of the kindest, most attentive service we had on our trip, and this place was a winner! Of course, we started with drinks and appetizers. I ordered the Spicy Margarita made with serrano chiles and blanco tequila, and it was DELICIOUS! It actually had a nice spice to it, which I love. my husband probably had an old-fashioned. But the best part had to be the TEQUILA CART! They bring the cart right to your table with different tequilas to choose from and some of the most unique salt rims I've ever seen. Such a fun experience! We ended up trying a couple of shots as well because...when in LA! My daughter wanted the guacamole to start, and it was fresh, chunky and packed with avocado, lime, cilantro, onion, tomato and serrano. She also wanted the chicken taquitos topped with salsa and guacamole. Both were really good and disappeared pretty quickly! For dinner, my daughter ordered the chicken fajitas. The pieces of chicken pieces were HUGE, which she loved, and everything was seasoned really well. My husband ordered the tacos and absolutely loved them. At this point we were already saying, "Why don't we have a place like this back home?" Seriously, if we did, we'd probably be there all the time. I ordered the Calo Combination with a chicken enchilada, chicken taco asado and carnitas chile relleno. This was the perfect choice for me because I got to try a little bit of everything. Everything was seasoned and sautéed really well and had just the right amount of spice. Soooo good! And obviously we couldn't leave without dessert! We ordered the churros AND fried ice cream because apparently making decisions wasn't happening that night. I LOVE a good warm, fresh churro, and these did not disappoint. Such a good way to finish an already amazing meal. The service deserves its own mention too. Everyone was incredibly friendly and attentive and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the entire meal. Even though the food was outstanding, the service really helped make the whole experience. Hands down some of the BEST Mexican food we've had in LA. From the appetizers and drinks to our entrees and desserts, everything we tried was delicious. Beautiful atmosphere, fantastic service, great drinks and AMAZING Mexican food. We were impressed with the entire experience and will absolutely be back the next time we're in LA! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

We ordered the Lox and Bagel with smoked salmon, capers, cream cheese, pickled red onions, fresh dill, and sun dried roasted tomatoes. The salmon was fresh and silky, and I loved the brightness from the pickled onions and dill. The roasted tomatoes added a nice depth of flavor. I also had the white crab white omelette with spinach and substituted the fruit for hash browns. The omelette was light and fluffy, and the crab added a subtle sweetness. The hash browns were crispy and satisfying. Cappuccinos were great, rich, smooth, and perfectly foamy. Just note they are nine dollars each, which feels a little steep, but they were well made. Service was pretty good overall, attentive and friendly without being overbearing. Overall, a solid four stars. Great atmosphere, quality brunch options, and a polished setting that feels perfect for a relaxed weekend catch up. I would come back for the vibes and the cappuccino.
