Terrible service. Misdiagnosed problems constantly. Never a quick fix- stopping there will be about a 4-5 hour comittment and dont be suprised if you need to come back next week because they still couldnt fix the issue. They have HORRIBLE communication between staff members. AVOID!!!!!!! Go to another spot on Howell Mill (Duncan Automotive) if you want your car actually fixed. One time I brought my car in to get something fixed, they had to go through the gas tank to fix it. After I picked my car up my gas did not display the accurate amount of gas in my car. Brought it back for them to fix and they quoted me $3,000 to fix it WHEN THEY BROKE IT. Forced to go somewhere else and pay $400 to an actual honest mechanic. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!! Was visiting the area with my famuly and realized i had a nail in my tire. Came in early in the day to have the tire patched. Was told it would be several hours. Any other tire shop would have taken care of it in 10 minutes or so. I left and went to a tire shop just down the street and received quick and amazing service. If I had read the reviews I would have been discouraged about going there. Once I arrived at Firestone I met the best customer service manager by the name of Kel Adams. He took me to my vehicle and talk me through my repairs. The tech Darryl also gave me advice about maintaining my vehicle. If you go ask for Kel. He is energetic and respectful. He did not try to take advantage of me and he visually showed me the complications that I was experiencing. I will continue to be a customer. I was highly satisfied with the quality of work that I received. Kel even called me and asked me how my car was doing, I felt that he went over and beyond to provide me with excellent customer service. read more

I've been there a few times before, and they were always nice, but not the most helpful. I always ended up paying more than I had planned and spending waaay too much time. Unwisely, I decided to go there on my lunch break to see if they could patch a tire that was in my trunk as a spare. Told them if they couldn't, I would just buy another tire as a spare and get rid of that one. Half an hour later? No answer on my tire. Then I see they have my car hoisted up. I ask about it , clarifying that what I needed never involved hoisting my car up or taking any tires off of it. They were obviously confused. Okay. That's fine. An hour and a half later, a mechanic comes out to tell me I need two new tires...no mention on what I had ACTUALLY come there for. So I specify- can you patch my spare tire? No. Great. I wasted my entire lunch break and then some to get information I didn't want/need/believe. Didn't buy anything from them. Will never go back. read more

My fianceé and I have been having her two Honda Civic DX hatchbacks (her current 1998 model and its late 1992 predecessor) at this store for the past several years. For the most part, they've busted their humps to give us good, quick service and decent prices. The latest repair was a malfunctioning control wand on the steering column, which was causing the windshield wipers to come on whenever the lever was jostled, and we couldn't get them to shut off easily. After more than a week waiting for a part we were promised would be ordered and received within a couple of days initially, we were told the part could not be replaced without removing the airbag--something no mechanic outside a dealership will touch for fear of safety issues and the resultant lawsuits. However, upon actually seeing the part the mechanic realized this was not one of the models where the airbag was in the way, and got the part in and the car ready within 20 minutes of my arrival. Tip: Ask for Mohammed to be your mechanic; he's good people, knows his stuff and will go the extra mile for you. read more

Brought my 2012 Audi A6 3.0 quattro there because a light in the display and an alarm said I need new brake pads. Called on Monday, told them about it and made a 10am appointment for the next day. After about an hour they determined that I need new brake pads and rotors in the front. When I picked the car up at 6pm the light and alarm for the brakes still came on. They told me that they don`t have the equipment to reset it and that I have to go to the dealer for this. I was really annoyed that they didn`t tell me before. The whole job set me back $ 800.00. While the cost for labor seems to be okay, the costs for the parts are not. According to their webpage they use Wagner ThermoQuiet brake pads for which they charged me $ 92.00 whereas Advance Auto parts sell them for $ 35.00. Nice mark up of more than 150%. Now I know why it doesn`t say on my receipt what brake pads and rotors they used (the rotors were $ 192.00 each. Guess I could have gotten them much cheaper too). Next time I`ll call Tirerack, order the parts there and have them shipped to an installer. read more

Do not go here. I am an honest and hardworking individual who brought my car in to have the tire changed. That was fine except when I got in the car my wheel was ripped. The "manager" Jeff Martin took the mechanics word that he couldn't have done it because he was "wearing gloves". It was hard to stand there know I was being lied to, told there was nothing I could do about it, and be bullied verbally for damages they had done. I left in tears. read more

Do not go here! I took my car in for oil change and tire rotation. After sitting around 3 hours- yes 3- I got my car back. After they gave me my car back it started shaking really bad when I went over 60 miles per hour. I took it back to them and they blanaced the tires and it still shook. Took it back again they told me I have a broken CV Joint/Axle in the front which was causing the shaking. They quoted my at $460 to fix it. I went and got a second opinion at a mechanic. They told me my CV Axle was fine, but that I had a nail in my rear left tire that was causing the wheel to seperate from the base. Got a new tire, and problem fixed. This firestone totally tried to rip me off and fix something that wasn't broken. In addition, they "missed" the rather large nail in my tire. STAY AWAY! read more

I took my car in yesterday to get 4 new tires. The rep who assisted me gave me a quote that was much lower than the 2 others I had received from other dealers. He told me that they weren't in stock and that I could make an appointment for the next morning to have them installed. After telling him that one of my tires was splitting and I was afraid to ride on it, he immediately called his colleague to have him pick up tires from another location. He told me it would be about an hour and a half and it took exactly that. This was my first time visiting this store and only did so because of its proximity to where I live, however, I was more than pleased with the price and quality of the customer service. read more

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!!! I went in with a check engine light on. They told me a needed a new battery-fine. I pay for a brand new battery, drive my car for 2 months, battery dies. Take my car somewhere else. Show them the receipt from Firestone- apparently they said they put a new battery in and didn't. It wasn't even the. Same type of battery they had written on my receipt. I wish I could give this place zero stars. I have had 2 issues with service at this location. One, they installed a component to my axle. The customer service in this place was deplorable. I did not get any realistic expectations for when I should pick up my car and I was stuck at home unable to go to work because I couldn't get a straight answer from anyone here. When my car was finally ready, they called me twice asking when I would be by to come pic it up as if it was an inconvenience to them to hold my car for any longer. In the end, they installed the piece incorrectly and every time I would make a sharp right turn it would grind loudly. I placed a complaint after that and had the district manager handle the repairs and things went very well. I decided to go back in good faith. BIG MISTAKE! I went to get a tire changed because I had a flat and get a standard oil change. While my car was there, they called to tell me I needed brakes. They quoted me over $1000 for new brakes. I said no because I knew that was WAY too much. When I get there to pick up my car, the guy tells me that no, it'll actually cost around $200. I decide to bring it back the next day. I dropped it off at 11 and AGAIN, no call for when I could come pick it up. I called around 3pm and was told the person delivering my brakes got delayed and that I should be able to come get it soon. I came to the store at 4pm and waited. While waiting I overheard the mechanics saying "We should call the owner of the Hyundai XXX because we still don't have the brakes". No one actually called me so I assumed it was another vehicle. I get my car back after they've already closed and drive home. I start noticing a rattling from under my hood an decide to check it out after hearing it consistently for over a week. I pop open the hood and see that my engine cover is loose. I check and not only is it loose, but it was never reattached! I pull the cover off easily and see four screws throw onto the cover (I needed 6 to reattach the cover completely). I get my tools and set to screwing the cover back on but it isn't working. After a frustrating few minutes I realize why, THESE AREN'T THE RIGHT SCREWS TO MY ENGINE COVER!!! Not only did this place carelessly leave my engine cover unattached, but they threw in 4 random screws that had no place in my vehicle. Now I have concerns that maybe my brakes were never really changed out and god know what else was done haphazardly. I call the location and speak with the manager Scott. He is nonchalant about the whole thing and says for me to bring my car in. I tell him there is no way I am letting them cause anymore damage than they already may have. He is quick to say that it "also depends on how the car came into us". Implying that somehow I decided to remove my engine cover, throw in 4 or the necessary 6 screws at random and blame it on them. I quickly let him know that I have only let this Firestone work on my car so if it didn't happen this last time, it happened the time before that. I had my car looked at recently and now I have an oil leak! I have spent so much money in this place to only have more money go flying out of my pocket as a result of their careless repairs. They are the worst place to get repairs! I filed a complaint with their corporate office on 7/11 and STILL no one has reached out to me. They refuse to take any accountability for their actions and will put you in a dangerous position driving a poorly repaired vehicle if it lines their pockets. Please, do yourself a favor and avoid at all costs! read more

3 stars because staff was very friendly. It would have been 5 stars if it wasn't for the wait. Had an issue at tires plus customer care directed me to them and made and appointment for two new tires/alignment/balance. Made an appointment for 1pm. Showed up on time. He told me it would be a while. I lived up the street so I told him its ok I will wait. I always expect a good two hours at these places so I waited and because I had an appointment I didn't plan to be longer than two hours. WRONG. I didn't l leave until literally minutes to 5pm. Beyond irritated. It seemed as if it went in order first come first serve. So my question is what is the point of an appointment if you placed a walk in before my vehicle. My car sat in the parking lot for over and hour and a half before they took it into the garage. So for the remaining two and a half hours they worked on it. Leaving there as soon as I pulled out my tire light came on. I was like no big deal I'll just put air. Did that at gas station one light down. Drove 4-5 minutes to get home from gas station and tire was completely flat. Took it to get inspected at another place and showed me something got in it because there was a hole. They couldn't patch it due to it being on the outer part. So my question is do they not check the other tires or even put air in them? I would think since I'm getting new tires they would have done that simple check. But nope. It's ok though. Could have been an oversight. But this location seems to be very hectic and should not take any appointments since they can not get things done in a timely manner. Staff was extremely nice though! read more

I first took my car to Firestone when I needed immediate service on a Sunday. It was the only place open, and their convenience (open fairly late, 7 days a week) was the first draw. In the three years since, I take my car to Firestone for EVERYTHING. The people are always nice, and they have always followed through on worries I've had about my car. I usually leave it there and pick it up the next day, so I don't know anything about the timeliness, but I do know I have never felt like I was bring ripped off, and I think once you return to a shop a few times, there is a certain amount of trust engrained. He kept me updated on the status of my vehicle and made sure everything was done in a timely manner. He also ensured that I understood everything that was being done. I got my brakes changed 3 months ago. I was told I needed new wheel cylinders, which meant my break fluid had to be flushed and bled, among other things, ok. I trusted them and told them to do what needs to be done. Ever since my breaks have been making a weird noise (that has never been made before this service). Went to ask someone about it and was completely ignored because they couldn't hear the noise at the time I brought the car in. I have been up there three times since. Still nothing, and still after about $2,000 worth of work and 3 months later I hear a grinding/gurgling noise from my breaks! The mechanic didn't even care to ask me to describe the noise to him. Needless to say costumer service is completely lacking. I was treated as if I spent no money in this establishment at all. Not to mention I've brought two sets of tires here, and have had numerous oil changes, in the past 3/4 years. BUT I GUESS MY MONEY ISN'T WORTH ANYTHING! It's fair to mention that one other mechanic was nice and helpful the first time I had this issue. But I'm highly annoyed that this problem still persist even though I've ask for help/opinions 2 times since, and everyone else were unhelpful and rude. read more

Absolute garbage. Complete lack of integrity and are dishonest. -0- communication from customer service. Dropped wife's company car off for oil service and rear tail light bulb. On a Sunday afternoon as no where else was open in area. No phone call from customer service until 5:53pm saying it was done and we close at 6:00pm. We had called once 1 hour earlier they said it was not done. Show up and they have put 3 new tires on it. Tech said the tread depth was dangerous. I said get the tires, I just personally hand washed the car yesterday. Tires can't be found. 10 minutes later from a separate area in the back away from the bad tires in the bin outside. One edge had been worn due to alignment issue and needing rotated. 3 new tires even with tread depth was a complete stretch. Tech totally pushed the tread depth measurement using the most outer edge on one tire to get the "safety" issue to bill Fleet Management. They completely riped off Fleet Management and GE car services. The tires just needed rotated and had 25K more miles on them. Go to this place at your own RISK. We live in the neighborhood and this business is a disgrace. They will push anything to their favor and have -0- remorse about it. read more
