DONT GO HERE!! Took my car in Monday for a new alternator, they said it would take 2 days and be $240 after all said and done. On Friday I called because I'd been a while and was wondering what was going on. The manager told me it was now cost $960 bc I needed a new starter instead. I asked if he replaced that would I be able to drive my car for atleast a month. He said no I need a bunch of other things. He said the $960 was just to install the starter. I told him that's way too much and I didn't want that service anymore. He said he could discount me and take the inpection fee off and it take me down to $750. I told him that's still to high and that I could get one off Amizon for 80 bucks and have my buddy install it. I went to pick up my car and still ended up paying $160 for an inspection after I told them I don't want any work done. If I could rate lower I would DO NOT GO HERE!!! Buy a part and have one of the many marines on base fix it for wayyy cheaper. Also when I got my keys back a bunch of stuff was ripped in my vehicle and just thrown everywhere, they took my airbag panel off and didn't put it back. It looked like someone tried to brake in. Took my car in to replace the alternator they recommended a diagnostic for $220 and then said we'll change the battery out first and then see if you need an alternator it would have cost me about $1200 after all the parts and service fees. Did the alternator myself and surprise it worked fine. $180 for one that has a lifetime warranty from NAPA on base. read more

This place is very professional. Takes a bit to get your car in the garage so have a book handy to keep yourself occupied. Facility is clean, coffee ain't bad and a little spot to keep kiddos entertained too. read more

I do not recommend. Prices are extremely high, they caused further damage to my car while doing the estimate and when I called around to other places the repair estimates were more than less than half of what this place was wanting. Ended up towing elsewhere and getting the work done for less than half of what they tried to charge, and in a timely manner. Additionally when we called to get in, they wouldn't give us an idea of timing and said to bring it in and see. Obviously didn't get us in that day. took my Mercedes in to get rear tires and an alignment. was told they couldn't get a certain part, and they misaligned my steering wheel, so now I have uneven wear on my tires with no cruise control or traction control. on top of being the most expensive "cheap" tires I've ever paid for. these guys are the worst. read more

So came here in a few months ago spent a lot on tires come to find out from Kia and from discount tires that the tires installed didn't support the weight of my car and they were the wrong size they still have a lot of tread of them I had to have the right size put on but I kept the tires they told me because I took the tires off that that couldn't refund me or change them out this is not the first issue five had they stripped the bolts to get to my breaks and had to bring it back to have them fix it please take your business somewhere else save your self the headache also are on the pricier side which I don't mind paying for reliable work to be done but that clearly wasn't the case..... read more

I don't recommend this Firestone location. I took my car there for a multi point inspection (their 10.99 deal that is suppose to include looking over the whole car, rotating your tires, and letting you know if anything needed to be done). They ended up not even rotating my tires or checking brakes etc. because they couldn't get my wheels off, I didn't know I had wheel locks considering I've never had an issue getting my tires rotated anywhere else. Considering they sell tires you would think they'd have a universal key anyways. So instead of calling me and telling me they couldn't do it, they still charged me the $10.99 anyways when nothing was even done except checking my fluids and oil which I can do myself. They also told me my engine was knocking. The lady I dealt with was very nice but the man was rude. He kept telling me it was going to cost me thousands of dollars and I should get rid of the car right away and not drive it because my engine was going to give out. I only have 89,000 miles on the car, never missed oil changes etc. I took it to Nissan to look it over due to what they said and they told me the car is in great working condition and nothing was wrong.... read more

My car had a broken window Motor that caused my glass window to shatter. So I took it to this place I had to cough up 560. They told me the job would be done in two days. That two days turned into a week and a half thing. Once I got my window repaired. Not even a full hour in of driving with my new window. The all the car window buttons stoped working. So I can't even roll down none of my windows. read more

My wife brings her car here to get oil changes and what not. I'm away for work so I can't do it. But, one of the technicians decided to raise his voice at her when they found a socket extension under the hood. She barely knows how to change a light bulb so unless Jody is under her hood there is no way she left it there. Of course a place on base will be completely unprofessional because they know their job is secured and they can't be touched. Take your cars to Ricks Auto in Sneads Ferry. He will at least treat you like a person and not just another job. read more

My experience with them has not been the greatest and most likely will never recommend them to anyone. We are a one car family which means that if the car is needing something done then everything gets put on pause. We brought our vehicle in at 8am which was the time they told us to the day before and they informed us that the OIL CHANGE would be done by 12pm. Cool whatever corona is going around so things must be a little crazy there that's fine. My husband proceeds to call them at 12pm to verify that the vehicle is done so I may have the car in order to take our daughter to her check up at the doctors office which I had rescheduled past 12pm to accommodate for the car getting done. They told him they were still working on and it seemed a little off I have never once heard of a 4hr oil change but they tell us if it goes past 2pm they will call and give us a heads up. At this point I have had to reschedule everything that I needed to do and really threw a screw in everything and I know not there fault but mine as they did not know what my day would be like. My husband gets off work and goes to get the car and it's past 2pm, now keep in mind they did not give us a call saying they needed more like they told us before. When he got there they did not have the vehicle ready and was just now pulling it in to get the oil change done. Now if we had know that they wouldn't have gotten it done till 2:30pm we would have gladly brought the vehicle in then to get the necessary things done. What are y'all doing at this place?! We went there with high hopes since our friends car went by so quickly and then this happens. Probably the worst auto service I've ever had. I brought in my car to get an acceleration problem fixed and not two days after I get it back, it still has the same problem! So I might have paid $1,200 for a repair I didn't need. I would recommend you go anywhere else before you go here. Absolute Trash... they said there was a leakage between my tire and the rim and that they sprayed something on it to seal it, I said okay and paid for it...the NEXT DAY my tire goes flat again...also for some reason they took my tire cap and replaced it with a very cheap one..I take it to another shop and I have seen with my own eyes a hole in the tire...I would have rather you said you didn't find the problem and that you needed extra time to get to the bottom of this but instead you lie and charged me for nonsense..seriously if you were more honest and had more competence maybe you guys would get better reviews, hard work truly pays off if you actually put in the work read more

Scheduled an appointment for 1100 am for an alignment, they said they would be done by 1230. I ended up coming in at 5 o'clock pm same day with them telling me the work was still not done. If they were too busy to book me then tell me that don't make me waste my whole day without my car. I'm furious! read more

I have come to this particular location a lot since I've moved here. I've had oil changes, state inspection/emission tests and they've fixed things for me, too. I have had one hiccup with bad communication, but they quickly fixed it to my satisfaction. They offer a 10% discount for military and are open 7 days a week. Horrible, they are terribly overpriced for parts I went in because my 2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse was making a noise near the belt so I went in and had the belt changed but they recommended a list of things for me to get done priced at over $1600 because the problem was my AC compressor needed to be replaced. AutoZone had all the parts Firestone recommended for less than half the price of parts, don't be fooled by the ten percent discount they give this place will rip you off big time. read more

Went here just a couple months ago to get my oil changed. They changed my oil and did the normal car check. Then after they told me they checked the battery and that I needed to get a new one for almost $200? I haven't had my car for a year yet and it's a brand new battery. Took it to advance auto and they tested my battery and said it was generating more amps than they expected. Nice try trying to take my money. Not going here again read more

Have had this store put tires on two different vehicles for me in the past couple of years. I dealt with a few different sales people through each transaction and have found each of them to be very helpful, honest and thorough with each interaction. The first time the car in question needing tires wasn't my own and my friend was deployed- so he chose to order the tires through tire rack and have them installed at the store- even though the tires weren't purchased through them they were still great. Recently I was in a time crunch to get new tires before a road trip into bad weather so I again used tire rack only because Firestone couldn't get the ones I needed in enough time- but they were, again, still great. I purchased the lifetime alignment package which is a great value and plan to bring my car back the next time I need anything done. Competitive pricing on tires, convenient for anyone who works on base and nice helpful professionals in the showroom. Don't think twice about coming here over other places out in town. read more

I had my oil change performed here in the past with no problem until recently. I scheduled the oil change and ended up having belts changed ,tie rod repair and alignment . Three days after the oil change there were oil drops on my garage floor. I called immediately and was told to bring the car back to Firestone. Then the hulla balooey started. I was told the mechanic had injected a dye into my oil to determine where the "leak" was coming from to determine if further work was needed and so I should drive it for a "few" days and bring the vehicle back in for Firestone to look at it again. Upon return to home my husband and I got a flashlight and looked under the vehicle and low and behold there was a large amount of bright blue silicone around the drain plug on the oil pan! There has been no further leak in the past few days so I called and asked why there is bright blue silicone around my drain plug and was told that was a new tamper initiative started a few months ago , they use either yellow or blue silicone to determine if the plug has been removed since the last oil change at Firestone. PUHLEEZE! I was born at night but not last night. They refused to admit the plug was stripped by their employee . I was offered a coupon for a Free oil change not a new plug or oil pan. Don't be snowed by the pleasant demeanor of the staff, you aren't going to get lubricant for the orifice that is going to be violated. read more

Most of the mechanics were friendly and helpful. 2 were the complete opposite. Went in for an alignment and was told ball joints were shot and needed replacing. Instead of immediately paying $550 to have them replace them, I took the vehicle to two other places and both of these shops said my ball joints were completely fine. read more
