    Break pad

    THIS SHOP PUT MY FAMILY AT RISK BY FAILING TO DO THEIR JOB!!! I've been a customer at this location for years. Recently I had a grinding noise coming from the front brakes on my 2005 Toyota Camry and brought it in for a brake inspection. Upon completion of the inspection I was told there was 4mm of pad left and the brakes were good. Around 1,500 miles later I was still hearing the same noise so I pulled off the pads myself and both the left and right pad looked like the photo. I was very upset as this shop put my family at risk by not doing their job. When I spoke with the manager he provided excuses and failed to take responsibility.

    Ouch.

    They take advantage of women! Horrible. My wife took my truck to replace tires and they took advantage of her. Firestone in Chula Vista charged an additional $324 plus a bunch of additional fees to install the tires on my 2013 Toyota Tacoma. This was on top of the new tires. The tires cost $451.96. But all together she was charged $980. They didn't offer her the holiday specials either. I work in the auto industry and this one hurts. They charged to dispose 4 tires when I took 3 of the 4 home with me. Horrible. They haven't even reached out to refund what was overcharged. Shame.

    Staining from the mechanic

    I managed to block out why I have been putting off an alignment. I now remember why... I purchased a lifetime alignment at another location because they were amazing. I moved and came to this location as it was the closest to my house. I made an appointment last week for 11:00 on Monday, guy said it usually takes an hour and a half. I drop the truck off at 10:30 and tell them I'm going to wait. I asked him how long it would take and he said he would call me in 15 minutes to let me know (He never called). I leave their building to walk around outside and come back 2 hours later. I walk up and still see my truck sitting in the same parking space. I walk in and immediately the guy who greeted me this morning recognized me, I couldn't even talk to him before he darted in the back. He flagged someone about my truck, I saw he held the pouch with my keys. He proceeds to tell me it got a little backed up and it would be another 30 minutes... Why TF do you make appointments if you blow off the people who plan it out?!? Because it isn't some big sale and a return for an alignment where you make no money?!? I get my car and saw staining on the seat. Are you F kidding?!? They "cleaned" it right away but come on. It was supposed to be my lunch break not an entire day of work. Long story, but take your car to another location. ANY OTHER location. These people are a joke and don't care about your time.

Read their reviews, clicked their website, searched for the tires I needed. And of course the tires I needed must fit my budget. There were several branded tires that were offering discounts, huge discount. I signed in to get my $80 discount on Yokohama tires that were already on sale. Nevertheless, I called this branch; and the person I spoke to was very polite and helpful. I asked for a quote and asked if I can get the $80 discount being offered by Yokohama. He gave me the $80 discount on my 4 Yokohama tires, plus an extra Military/Veteran discount. Carlos (the rep that I spoke to over the phone) asked me if I want to get an appointment, and I agreed; so he gave me an appointment. Anyway, we just walked in on the same day I spoke to Carlos in to this branch, got in line, and when it was our turn (approximately 7 minutes in line) I told the guy (Saul is his name) that I already made an appointment and I have a record of the tires I needed, and of course the quoted discount amount Carlos gave me. He retrieved my record. The staff in this store are very helpful, polite, friendly, and most of all very transparent and honest. We only waited for a total of 40 minutes (walked-in) and our vehicle is all ready with new sets of tires. There are nearby stores where you can window shop while waiting. I'm recommending this branch 100%. Oh by the way, thank you much Yelp for your guidance in obtaining what I needed; you are simply the best!

    This was by far the worst customer service experience I've ever had…read more For over 3 months, Discount Tire kept calling me, claiming I never paid for my TPMS sensors and that I still owed them money. The manager, Samuel, was rude from the beginning and even told me I had "got free sensors." After telling me he wouldn't contact me again about the issue, he turned around and charged my card $1,756 without telling me. After going back and forth with Samuel he kept insisting the charge was correct and that I hadn't been double charged. When I said I was going to call corporate, Samuel got defensive and told me corporate wouldn't help because "only I can give you your money back." He also claimed the charge on my account was just a hold and that my original invoice from March had never actually been completed. After getting nowhere Samuel, I told them I was prepared to take them to small claims court over the $1,756 If the issue wasnt resolved. 3 days later, a different employee called me and admitted I was right the whole time. They found that my card had in fact been charged twice and told me I'd be getting a refund within five business days. After more than three months of phone calls, arguing, and being told I was wrong, they finally admitted their mistake. An apology would go a long way but I doubt I will hear from them again If you decide to do business here, I'd recommend keeping a close eye on your bank statements. And if you've been a customer before, I'd also suggest asking them to remove any credit or debit cards they still have saved on file. I definitely won't be coming back.
