Today I was startled to find my front tire was almost flat. We drove down the road to firestone. The mechanic out front quickly diagnosed the problem as a broken stem. He wasn't too sure how much it would cost and sent me inside for info. While I was in there, giving the guy behind the counter my information, the manager told me that they were already working on it. It kind of surprised me bc I hadn't signed anything or agreed on the price. (As a woman, I am always suspicious of mechanics. I have been taken advantage of so many times.) I went out to check on my aunt who was in the car. Before I knew it the mechanic was coming back with my tire. I went in to pay and the guy behind the counter told me it was taken care of and I was good to go......for FREE! THEY FIXED MY TIRE FOR FREE!!!!!!! I still can't believe it. Went in Monday to get an alignment on my truck. Left and it was fine, Next day I'm pulling out of my drive way and I hear a loud bang. As I pull out and start to drive my steering wheel was very off center. It was at 8 o'clock and 2 o'clock, pulling hard to the right. I went back Wednesday morning to see what happen, they told me the alignment was off and they re-did the alignment and that they couldn't find anything wrong. That they had their "Master tech" look at it and found nothing. So I start to drive home and the steering wheel is off and the trick is still pulling to the right. So the next day (Thursday) I take it to another Firestone in riverside to do the alignment a third time and they tell me the alignment was off, only a day after corona did it. So they did it, and I got the same outcome. Pulls to the right crocked steering wheel. I called the Corona location back, they say to bring it back and they'll take a look at it. Now their telling me that I need $600 worth of parts or bolts to hold the alignment in place, so the so called master tech didn't find this the first time around? I didn't have any issue with my vehicle till after I brought it in, now it went from a simple alignment to them saying it's now a $600 problem that might not even fix the issue. There was no issue till after the first visit here.Needless to say I've been a loyal customer the past 10-12 years. There's been some issues I've had before with Firestone but always gave them a chance and kept coming back. Even after being told I needed new shock because they were leaking, I still had a warranty through the dealer. I took it there, and they said they were perfectly fine. So it's hard to believe a place you actually need something when they've already tried to sell me something I didn't need. It's easy to say that they've lost a customer, and the other cars I bring here also have seen this place for a final time. So after a few days of talking to the area supervisor and him talking to the corona location manager they gave me two options. They would give me back my money from 9 years ago that I paid for the lifetime alignment or I could pay for parts and they would cover labor. Parts were $370. I looked at the same parts they were going to use and they were $47.99 each at pep boys. OEM parts were $180, factory parts made by ford. Not sure what parts they were going to use that made them almost $400. End result they did not want to fix something that's was done wrong on their end and didn't mind letting a customer of almost ten years just go. Sounds like they wanted me to go somewhere else, and have them take care of what they didn't want to. So much for "trying" to make things better. read more

Two stars cause I've been there more than once. One star if that wasn't the case. More than once I've been told it will take 2-3 hours. 9/10 times I'm there double. I understand there are other cars ahead of me. But what I was told would take about 3-4 hours ended up taking 10. Firestone, don't let your employees bite off more than they can chew for one day. I had an emergency situation with a leaking tire. It was Memorial Day afternoon so I didn't think that I would have to many options for getting my tire fixed for my commute on Tuesday morning. I was a little on edge because it was 4:30 pm. I saw Firestone and pulled in. I went in and talked to Josh Stoops about my leaking tire. To be honest, I didnt think that they would fix my tire because it was late in the day, they had a full garage, and my repair was petty. Too my surprise, Josh said " Let's go check it out" in a very professional and caring tone. I was shocked because I have lost faith in today's automotive repair industry as far as loyalty and dilligence. He and Jesse fixed it quickly without any shenanigans. They do not open at 7am. I came in at 6:45am Saturday and waited for some one to show up, no one ever did. After waiting for about 30 minuets I walked up to the door and the sign said they open at 8. It would of be nice if they posted the actual time they open. read more

I had some bad experiences at another Firestone Auto Shop. I took a chance at this particular location since its really close to my house. To me, trust is the biggest factor when getting your car for repairs. When i first took my car in, the brakes where floored and other shops keeps on telling me i needed to replace my brake pads and rotors. I was preparing for the worst and i thought i was going to spend at least $500. After my car was diagnosed, the mechanic bled the brakes and he sealed a small leak. My brakes has been working fine since then, and that was about 5 months ago. These guys are just good guys. I also took my car in for an oil change on a weekend, not knowing they are about to close in an hour. Anthony could have said come back another day, but he ended up writing me up and i waited in the lobby. 45 minutes later, my oil change was done. No hassle, they will make suggestions on what your car will need next, but no pressuring you to buy new stuff or getting things repaired that you dont need. These are great qualities and i think i will be going back here for the rest of the life of my car. read more

I found a lifetime alignment coupon online for $149.99. They told me it was a tremndous deal which I thought too since another shop quoted me $140 1 time. They were very professional. Jesse answered questions and discovered the large nail in my rear tire. He was not pushy understanding I have a tore certificate from another company. I'm sad to say I was very disappointed with this shop. I'm writing this review as constructive criticism. I brought my car in for an inspection as required by Uber. I was given a long list of shops and this one was fairly close to me. I called around to a few locations and this store advised me to schedule an appointment but couldn't get me in for a few days. I chose this location specifically because they scheduled an appointment for me, assuming (my first mistake) that an appointment meant my service would be handled in a timely manner. I wish I would have taken it to another location as a walk-in because I could have gotten it taken care of days earlier and without the extensive wait. Before I go any further it must be known that I received excellent customer service. Jesse was really kind and so were the other two people that I talked to inside the shop. However, I sat in the waiting room for an hour & fifteen minutes before they even took my car to begin the inspection... and I had an appointment! Why did I have to wait so long? Not one person gave me an estimate on the time it would take nor did anyone update me as I sat there for hours. If they told me they were really far behind then I would have left and not wasted my time. Then it took another hour or so for the inspection (I expected that) and another 15 minutes or so (I lost track) before anyone rang me up and gave me my keys back. The technician brought my car up to the front and then a bunch of other people were helped before someone called my name to ring me up. It seems like this location is extremely short staffed or unorganized. I feel it is completely unacceptable to wait longer than 15 minutes when you have an appointment scheduled. I took time off work to bring my car in and I lost out on wages because it took so long. I'm sorry to say but I would not refer any friends or family to this location. To top it off a gentleman was there longer than I was, poor guy, then another gentleman asked for his keys back because they were taking so long with his car (they actually told him to go to another location), and the icing one the cake is: they gave me the wrong receipt. Just bought tires for my car about a month ago, at a cost of 200 a piece. Today my wife runs over a screw. Tire needs repair, service writer stats the piece of metal that went thru the tread is to close to the side wall , approx 1-1/2" before thef side wall. He then tells me there is no warranty because I didn't purchase the extra road hazard warranty. Poor customer service, I own 5 vehicles and I have spent thousands at this store on tires, oil changes, alignments, tuneups, brakes, and now I will never do business with them again, I feel completely let down. Their only response was sorry Tim, you have to buy another tire. Needless to say I took the tire to another store, they took one look and said no problem, they removed the tire and patched it from the inside, cost 15,00. thanks Goodyear in Norco for proper customer service I will make sure everyone knows how great you are, and how terrible Firestone is.. I just had a great experience with this location. Let me give a little bit of background. I took my car in for an alignment at another place about a week or two ago (just because that place was closer to where I was at the time). Prior to bringing it in the only issue that I was having was uneven tire wear. Once I left, I noticed that the car was pulling. I looked at the alignment report and several of the angles were still in the red and not within the manufacturer's specifications. I took my car back a day or two later and it was looked over again. I was told that it was probably my tires. Umm no. I told them that it was not doing this before with the same tires on it and I've driven on bad tires before without these issues. I was rushed out of the door and was told to come back that weekend as they were busy. Ok. Well Imagine having to drive from S. Corona to Irvine everyday with your car sporadically and forcefully jerking to the left. It was frightening and I was left having to drive below 50 mph to maintain control of the car. Now, to give them the benefit of the doubt, I purchased new tires to eliminate that...I WAS STILL HAVING THE PROBLEM!!! These people really tried to make me think I was crazy and I was online self-diagnosing my car, which is almost as bad as going to Web MD and self-diagnosing an illness. I just came back from Firestone. I told them that I wasn't having the problem prior to the alignment. They checked everything out and sure enough it was the alignment. Everything is great and I am driving with no more issues. I have been taking my cars to Firestone since I was a teenager, I don't know why I didn't this last time but I will never make that mistake again. Thanks Josh & team. read more

I always want to be sure to give kudos where they are deserved and this Firestone deserves them! A week or so ago, my husband, newborn baby and I were in the Corona, taking care of some after vacation chores. The service light on our truck had been on all throughout our vacation which was cause for some unwelcome concern. We stumbled upon a Ford dealership and stopped in to have them plug the vehicle, get the trouble code and make arrangements for repair. This is not the first time the service light had been on and, seeing as our vehicle is a Ford, we have never had an issue with the dealership addressing this issue. We did not receive such customer service from this particular dealership. They advised it would be a $250 service fee and roughly a three hour wait. Nope. We took off and tried our luck at a couple auto parts retailers. None were able to help, but suggested we try Firestone Tire. We did and naturally, were hesitant after being denied several times before. Upon arriving we were greeted before we even made it in the door. My husband explained the situation and a representative, Anthony, promptly assisted us. It probably took us longer to find a parking spot than it took him to walk out, hook up and diagnose the problem. There was no service fee and no agreement to execute service. Anthony was friendly, polite and professional. I guarantee you that the next time I need tires or tire service, I will be going to Firestone first. read more

Like many, had been coming here for quite a while, getting oil changes and tires there. This time I needed something bigger. I needed a drive shaft bearing replaced, Tim quoted me about 100 for part and 150 labor, said okay. Not knowing price of part, called Riverside Kia after I got home from dropping off truck, part is 110 retail, not wholesale price that Firestone would pay for it. Then after they took down drive shaft, the said the needed to send it out to other shop to have it bearing put on shaft at an extra cost of 250. ( Second Note) My wife picked up vehicle that evening of repair, I saw bill following day. Found online same part down the street for 60 retail. The following monday, (work done on fri), talked to Tim again, he tried telling me that the store paid 160 for part and I showed him copies I downloaded off internet for same part for $60 and available down the street for the same price. After more than 5 mins of nicely talking to him, he called Kia Riverside to confirm retail price (highest) of 110 and finally adjusted down 60 dollars. I understand wanting to make a little off the part, but charging me over 300% for the one part I was changing out, still not good. I appreciate them coming down but they lost my trust. Note 3, day after we got truck home, squealing (not in a good way) from new bearing. Took back a few days later when I had time. Not sure it was wrong bearing or bad after market part. They took 3 days to fix it, 2 days trying to convince them it was bad and one to do the work. They bought a dealer part and all is well now. No squeal and running normal. Appreciate them fixing right after the fact, but in the long run, taking it to the high price dealer would of been better in this instance. These guys are great for tires and oil changes and appreciate all they have done for me in the past but this was a turning point for me. read more

We were heading to a family event this weekend and got a flat tire while on the freeway. Luckily, we were near a Firestone since I had just bought Firestone tires a couple months ago. The store was super busy on this Saturday, but the Manager assured us that his team would do the best they could to get us out of there as soon as possible. Seeing that we had a fussy baby with us, the guys started working on our repair right away. We were out of there in less than an hour, and still able to make the family outing. My battery went out on my car (I just bought it 6 months ago), and the place I bought the car from said they would pay to replace my battery immediately. They told me to either go to PepBoys or Firestone, so I went to PepBoys. Complete waste of time, bad service.. After about 30 min of waiting there they tell me they can't help me and send me across the street to Firestone. Annoyed, I go over, and was greeted by Joshua and another gentleman (I am so sorry I didn't catch your name!!) they were so kind and helpful and made me their number one priority. They went out of their way and called many different part stores to personally order my battery, and were able to get it delivered and installed within an HOUR. absolutely fantastic work. Best experience at Firestone Corona. Needed 4 new tires for my car so I went in on a busy Friday evening. Didnt know they closed a 6pm but showed up at 530pm. Joshua greeted us and was very friendly and accommodating considering they were closing soon. He showed me the tire options and quotes of the tires and he even went to the back and physically brought out tires for me to see. My husband made an appointment Saturday evening for a Sunday 10am brake job. The website states that they will contact you by email or phone to confirm the appointment. They never called...until an hour after the appointment time to ask if he was going to bring the car in. He asked if it was still possible for the day and was told yes, they could do it as long as it was brought in before 2pm. We dropped the car off at 11am and he was told he would receive a phone call within an hour and a half to tell him the status. That call never came. We sat around all day waiting till my husband finally called then at 4pm. The job hadn't STILL been started but he was assured it would be done and complete before they close at 6pm. Well at 5:30 we drove back there and he was told that it still hadn't been started! They would be happy to keep the car though. My husband said no thanks, told the guy that they totally wasted an entire day for us, took his keys and left. What an absolutely horrid customer service experience. I recommend that NO ONE ever use this place! No followup on anything, no concern over anything, just a "ok we will do it for you" and nothing, absolutely nothing! Thanks a lot guys!! Went in on Friday for an oil change on my car. From the time I walked in I was greeted with great service. The staff at this store really explained all the available services for my car. Vincent, the technician who worked on my car did so in a timely manner, my car was done within the hour I was told. After my car was ready the staff also took the time to explain future services my car would need and informed me of the overall condition of my car.
