I don't ever leave reviews but damn, I'm not sure if he was the manager but so rude. I had a flat tire and it was clearly an emergency that I needed to get the tire to be filled with air. The guy refused to help me because of my tires condition and yes I get its a corporation and they can't put air in it but really? Isn't it more dangerous to drive with a flat tire till I found a gas station with an air pump? And doesn't help that the guy was so rude. read more

After being so great the first time, never an excuse for lack of common sense/communication/customer service. I just came into Firestone to do an oil change and was charged $220. I have a standard Volvo sedan and was told that the oil filter was expensive and that prices had gone up. I've seen oil change prices increase from $100-$110 to now $220. The pricing is so ridiculous at this point that I am considering other options or doing the oil changes and other repairs myself from now on. read more

So i walk 2 up to in the shop is a complete a@# H$#l! Tells me I need to go talk to a guy inside. I asked the guy do you happen to have a screw I'm sure they have one in the shop lain on the floor. He says well what type of scrutiny in need I said any type I don't care I would just be very blessed if you could give me a screw. Then the guy says no. COMPLETE A$$ H@@LS! This review is strictly for customer service. I was traveling thru with a rental car, ran over a drill bit on the freeway and pulled in Firestone looking for a repair. In stepped Whitney! She checked to see if the tire was in stock, if the rental car had an account to bill and went totally above and beyond. Turned out the tire was not in stock, she suggested another place and informed me of how far I have left to travel with the tire in its current condition. If she is not the manager or owner, she was just the best and deserves heaps of admiration!!! I made it to the airport to get a replacement car. read more

I've been taking my cars here for 10+years and never had a problem until recently. New management has terrible customer service and is strictly about trying to get you to spend way more than necessary. I went strictly for an oil change and a general inspection as I was about to be traveling out of town for work. They told me several services were needed, I agreed to the costs and services over the phone as I didn't want to have any car issues when traveling. Upon picking up my car the cost was DOUBLE what they quoted me on the phone. My car left with more issues than when it went in and continued to make a thumping noise it never did prior to their services including "an alignment". (My car is fairly new and low miles). Due to leaving town and being 300miles from the closest Firestone I had to spend excessive amounts of additional money to fix issues they created. I contacted Firestone corporate who bounced me back to Firestone encino whom then said they would issue a partial refund and never did. Neither corporate nor this local branch was helpful at all. Definitely never taking any of my cars back here again. Highly disappointed with the management and poor handling of the situation. read more

Very nice team. I live in the neighborhood, so this store is super convenient to drop my car and walk home. Even though I'd probably pay extra for the convenience, i would recommend them to anyone. My experience is they have always tried and accommodate me without an appointment if possible, although it is wise to call ahead. Honest with fair prices. I've never had them push an "extra" service, although they will let you know what service they think your car is due to receive. read more

Great Service! I was driving to work when I noticed my tires felt off, turns out it was a screw. A gentleman I think he is the manager was so helpful. He found the screw in my front left tire but then helped inspect the other 3 tires. Turns out the other 3 were stretching and he gave me his recommendations. Seriously great customer service, and it didn't take that long either for just walking in. He also let me know that if I got a flat tire it would be covered with the new one I bought. I would give zero stars if I could. Beware or they'll f**k up your car! I called yesterday to inquire about a headlight replacement bulb for the passenger side. I spoke to Eric and told him that my headlight was out and it was difficult to replace myself because of the housing type. I was told that he had the bulb in stock and was asked if I wanted to make an appointment for the same day. I was quoted for $42 including labor. My boyfriend and I dropped off the car a little before 5pm (my appointment was for 5-530pm) and was told that they'd have the car ready in an hour. A little over an hour later, they called me to tell me they did not have the bulb in stock, that the bulb needed to be special ordered and it would now cost $170 for the bulb and $200 for labor. We told them no and we walked back over to pick up the car. When we arrived, the car was parked in front of their garage. As we drove off, we noticed none of our headlights (including the fog lights) were turning on when switched to auto (this was not an issue before we dropped off the car). We asked Eric what they did, why our lights were no longer working, and he swore they did not touch the car. There was no manager on site to speak to and Eric refused to give us corporate's number when we requested it. I will never come to this establishment again nor would I reccomend them to anyone. read more

One of my headlights went out, I bought the bulbs to fix it myself but it was more of a project than I'd anticipated. I called Firestone Complete Auto and within an hour I was there and they helped me immediately. I went here originally because it's close to my house and I didn't want to be stranded somewhere for hours, but they had me in and out in 30 minutes tops. The staff were kind and knowledgeable. I had apparently bought the wrong bulbs and expressed concern over the cost so they threw in the correct size bulbs for free and helped me out. I really feel like they cared about me not only as a customer, but also as a person. It was a wonderful experience to have, especially in these trying times. I'll never go anywhere else. read more

Beyond terrible. I made an appointment on Tuesday for Saturday at 11. Got there and guy said you need to leave it because it'll be after 2 before we get to you. Why is that I made an appointment for 11? He said and appointment doesn't guarantee a time it just gets you on the books for the day. If you didn't have an appointment I would tell you that we are too busy to see you. (None of this during the appointment process or in the email reminders) Not happy but needed it done for the weekend. So I said I'll wait. Then he says you can only stay in the lobby 30 minutes so leave the car or wait outside. Not happy but need service I said okay. I sat about 30 minutes. I saw my car pull in. Awesome, estate was in correct or they are trying get it done since I'm waiting. 5 minutes later it pulls out, the guy has covering and keys in hand and brings another car in place mine was. I asked the clerk what the heck?! He said no we didn't briefly NG it in. We said yes you did that guy in the stocking cap. He said your work order is still on the tool box. At this point I'm done Abd said give my my keys I'm going somewhere else. He went to the garage and brought Danny the manager. He comes in and starts asking me if I'm more important than the rest of his customers and why I thought I should go ahead of everyone else. I day d that is not the case and don't try to put words in my mouth. I had an 11 Am appointment for an oil change, followed direction, arrived on time. Then saw my car call me back n and get pulled out without any work. He said we are busy. If you want fast you to Jiffy Lube. My jaw dropped. I asked for his name to contact Firestone. He gave his name and said if you are through now you can take your car to Jiffy Lube and get it done faster. read more

really unpleasant interaction with Daniel (Danny) this morning, who was rude, condescending, and unwilling to help. We came in with a screw in the treads on a Firestone tire that we bought from a Firestone store (complete set of 4). We got the full 'Road Hazard' warranty which covers these types of situations, so they'll either fix the tire for free (if puncture is not in the sidewall) or replace it for a small deductible (~$25). Danny immediately told us the tire is "too old" and had less than 2/32" tread depth left (the minimum required to fix), wouldn't repair it nor even offer the replacement tire for the deductible. Said only option was to buy new tire for full price! From the get-go he was set on being resistant to honoring the manufacturer or the Road-Hazard warranties. We drove right down the street to Just Tires who gladly patched it up quickly for only $20 and even showed us with their depth gauge that there was a solid 4/32" of tread left. read more

AVOID THIS LOCATION!!!! I took my car in for a quote to get a valve cover gasket replaced, and Firestone called me back with a $9,000.00 quote to get it fixed! I obviously declined the work and was going to get more quotes at other places. On my way to pick my car back up from this Firestone, they called me and told me my car would no longer start, even though I drove it there and my car has never had troubles starting. They refused to get it running and I had to have it towed away from this location. I took my car to the dealership and it took them 20minutes to find that Firestone had disconnected my fuel switch, which had nothing to do with what I wanted a quote to get fixed. The dealership had my car back running in minutes. AGAIN, AVOID THIS LOCATION unless you like headaches. read more

$1968.00 engine light repair and check engine light came on the very next day. Daniel claims they blew out something on the subsequent visit but did not document anywhere and check engine light is back on 2 weeks later and car has exact same symptoms. Now they are not answering the phone and after calling corporate I learn they are closed due to an employee testing positive for COVID. NOT HAPPY AT ALL. UPDATE after calling corporate, Trevor called and refunded the tune up parts and labor and battery charges. He also claims COVID is not an issue with they're not answering the phone. Thank you, Trevor! Car still not starting or running smoothly, and check engine light is on...saga continues but at least we have the funds back to get it diagnosed and repaired. read more

I'm a customer of this Firestone shop for a long time. Great service and ability to fight with complicated issues! Just recently guys have been able to confirm that they are the best. My car had electrical problem effecting safe driving. It was not easy to find the root cause, but Daniel (service manager) provided very sophisticated troubleshooting skills in order to find the problem and resolve the issue. Excellent job! Once again the guys over at Firestone Encino have surpassed my expectations for greatness. I was told months ago by the VW dealership in San Diego (Bob Baker) that I needed rear brakes. It would cost about $600. While having a flat fixed at Firestone I asked Daniel if they did such repairs, he said yes and printed me a quote. The quote was $200 less than the dealer. I wasn't surprised but today I WAS HAPPILY SURPRISED! I made the appointment for the brake job and dropped the car this morning. Not long after, they called me up and said "your brakes are fine...you don't need new brakes!" Wow. Great news on so many levels. Don't know what was going on at Bob Baker's, but these Firestone guys are my new spot. I even brought my daughter in 2 weeks ago to have her Prius head and tail light bulbs replaced. I just needed to get air in my bosses car and they would not do it because I did not have her car listed under my account, they write up a ticket to check your air and I have actually taken it there 2-3 times before and they did it. I have been a customer at the Studio City location (with Firestone) for more than 20 years and still continue doing business with them. The employee here was ready to have an argument because I was getting irritated and he informed me that how dare I come in there and ruin his day and that he was having a great day until I showed up. I apologized 3 times and he still kept going on and on about it, he also informed that I could go get air at a gas station if I didn't like it, so I left. I spoke to the Studio City store and they said there is no reason to write up a work order because it's not a work, just checking air in the tires. I will never recommend this place to anyone, especially a woman. My co-worker had a similar situation but worse and she is a woman. read more

They gave me a laundry list of over $1500 in suggested services on my practically NEW 2016 vehicle. No other shop has tried to take me a such a ride. Paid for the 7 point vehicle inspection and hours after the leaving the shop my tire pressure light came on! Found out from the dealership all they had to do was press the reset button on the dashboard. This caused me a lot of frustration and anxiety driving around for the past two days.
