Update: so I now come here for all of my car needs, and I've never been disappointed. They're wonderful and prices are very reasonable!

Spent tons of $ here. 1200 on my breaks that don't work. Almost wrecked yesterday because I couldn't stop. Bringing it back again for the 4 time for break issues. Separately my wife's car wouldn't start. It's a 2017. They told her it was her alternator. 450$ to fix. Brought it to another mechanic who said it was just the battery. I just hope they fix my breaks today without any further problems Updated --- they did fix whatever was wrong with the brakes. I am thankful for that. read more

What a great experience I just had at Firestone. Went there for a second opinion after going to the local Jeep dealer. After checking all the same of items Jeep cheeked, I was advised that 2 of them didn't need to be done and the other 2 items were done for literally half the price of the Jeep dealer. I was at this Firestone store with my teenage daughter (and her vehicle) finalizing payment & check out with Mr. Sean Roach (who apparently is the manager). I have been to this store at least a dozen times with many different cars over the last 7 - 8 years. Almost every time I need to go in, I receive excellent service from Mr. Roach. In fact, this feedback is a result of my 3rd visit (3rd visit all on the same day) to this store on December 23, 2020. However, while I was checking-out and picking-up my car during my third time inside the store, another Firestone associate, Mr. Lee Horner (who was not part of my transaction in any way whatsoever) and who was standing idle at another computer terminal, barged into our conversation by stating that I needed to wear a mask. I politely responded to Mr Horner that I am unable to wear a mask because of a medical condition. He huffed and puffed aggressively and yelled that "I was not following CDC guidelines" and said "...like hell I have a medical condition." I informed him that all guidance from CDC, as well as all states, counties and municipalities allow for a medical exemption. Every. Single. One. I tried to ignore Mr. Horner but he would not go away and leave me to finish my transaction with the manager so we could be on our way. Mr. Horner continued with his rude and unprofessional conduct and words. On top of that, when I asked Sean for the name of his rude employee, Mr. Horner came aggressively towards me and slammed down a business card of the table right in front of me and my daughter and said "here you go so you can make sure you spell my name correctly". Verbal assault is unacceptable! Approaching a customer in an aggressive manner is unacceptable! Based on this aggression, I told Mr. Roach to cancel the new tire proposal for my Jeep (other vehicle), as Mr. Horner's conduct and aggressiveness just lost my business. Mr. Horner then stormed out of the customer area and went to the back room, mumbling more angry words and he slammed the door. My daughter was terrified and left crying and scared. No other customers were in the store at the time. I have been a very loyal customer to this Firestone location for many years but this type of rude, aggressive behavior was uncalled for and should not be tolerated under any circumstances. Your employee needs to have additional training and some to consider would include anger management. I am very disappointed that the manager just stood there and did not intervene, did not apologize and basically did nothing. (Perhaps he was as shocked as me?!) And not one time Mr. Roach ask me to wear a mask, leave the store or anything similar. What kind of weak manager allows an employee to be so rude and so aggressive to a paying customer? Does Firestone treat all customers with medical conditions the same way? This is terrible! I want my Road Hazard charges refunded immediately and I will not be back in this store - or any Firestone - so long as Mr. Horner works there. Thus far, I have not received the refund of the additional charges and I have not received any communication from this Firestone store or any its managers. Due to the aggressive behavior I also left without being given the receipt for the work completed. And I was forced to dispute the credit card charge and I will take additional legal actions, if necessary. I have already told my story to many of my friends and family so I am hopeful fewer people will go to this location. Do not patronize this Firestone store, you will be sorely disappointed. read more

This place STINKS!! Literally it smells like urine!! Than with an appointment at 9am for oil change, tire rotation, balance and alignment and it takes them 4 hours to get done. Which is the time frame they quoted me last week without an appointment!! I have never had this kind of problem at a Firestone before!!!! read more

I will never take another car there. They used to be my go-to place until I took my car in for issues with the air. A couple days later, I notice the brakes seizing up. Have it towed back to them, they can't diagnose it. They tell me take it to the dealer. I did. The dealer mechanic tells me the brake pedal was incorrectly connected. I asked if that could have accidentally occurred. Was told it could have only been done by a person in the last few days. I know I didn't do it. So, either, someone at Firestone did it deliberately or through incompetence and they did not want to confess to it. Either way, they cost me $1400 in repairs for new brakes. read more

Clearly I should have heeded previous reviews and gone elsewhere. I have been going to this Firestone for almost 3 years. I have a company vehicle and have to have maintenance provided at specific providers, I have always used Firestone with no issue. I brought my vehicle in for an oil change and tire inspection at 10am on a Saturday. Now I understand that Saturday's are busy and I didn't have an appointment. I was prepared to leave my car and come back for it later. The manager told me he may have the car done at 2 but would probably end up needing it until 5pm. I was surprised by that! 7 hours for a walk in oil change??? But I gave them the benefit of the doubt because I had done business with them in the past and they were clearly busy. I called and spoke with the manager at 2:30pm to ask the status. Was told that my car had not yet made it in and he would definitely have it until 5pm. Again disappointed but it's already there and we're only a couple hours from then. At 4:45 I called just to verify it would be ready at 5 and the woman that answered told me they hadn't yet gotten it in and there was only 2 cars in front of me. I asked her if they would for sure be able to finish it before they closed at 6? Yes ma'am absolutely. Yeah right- except for the phone call I received at 5:50 from the same woman, that said I'm sorry ma'am we were unable to get your car taken care of. If you leave it until tomorrow morning. Whatever, no way. 7 hours for nothing. When I went in to retrieve my keys the woman manning the desk apologized and when I vented my frustration made no effort to empathize at all. Did not care when I explained I would be taking my business elsewhere. Perhaps they will care when their corporate structure inquires as to their customer retention. PS- the long and short of this is don't even bother going here unless you have an appointment, clearly walk in oil changes are more than they can handle. read more

They were fast, they had a lot of men working diligently and were getting costumers cars in and out in a timely manner. Their little waiting area was freezing cold, which was nice because it was about 110° outside. I've been going there for about three years. I can't believe I haven't written a post about them yet. Well it's been 16 months since I had the major repair below done. To put it simply, the part has failed. It's a part that, when installed correctly by a quality mechanic, should never fail again. The original defective unit, that GM itself has admitted was a poorly designed unit, lasted 10 years. A brand new unit that has the updated design that GM says never should need replacement ever again failed in 16 months. Oh Firestone only warranties most of their work for 12months or 12,000 miles. How convenient. Even the dealer will give a lifetime warranty on a part that is not a typical wear and tear part. In the end I took the car to an independent mechanic who is highly reputable and comes highly recommend by many friends. He fixed the issue and charged me 1/3rd of what Firestone charged. He also got it done in the 1 day that he quoted me, not the week long nightmare that Firestone originally put me through. I was even given the gaskets that Firestone installed as a painful memory of good money spent poorly at a low-quality shop. If you want the job done in quality manner, in the time frame specified, at a good price, Firestone is NOT the place you want to go. I suggest you look around on Yelp for a small business or independent mechanic and use them instead. Unless of course you don't care about your car. Remember, Firestone is an oil change and tire shop. It should have been a sign from the beginning that it wasn't he place where difficult repairs should be attempted. read more

If I could give less than one star, I would. Brought my F150 in for misfire. They diagnosed it and told me one cylinder is dead and I need a new engine after checking vacuum. I asked if the could email me the test results, they told me they don't have email capabilities. I asked for results of compression test, cylinder leak down, as well as fuel pressure readings and they told me they couldn't do that. read more

REALLY???? I have been to this location a few times now and have realized that if you don't have 2 to 3 hours to spare just for a tire change don't bother going! This is the kicker, I went in to have a tire changed and told them the last time I was in there they didn't tighten one of my lug nuts and it fell off. I was told to go to Discount Tire they will give me a free one? So they won't even honor when they screw something up to fix it but yet tell you to go to their competitors shop to get it fixed! What a joke !!!! The only reason and I mean only reason I gave 1 star is because of the product they sell in Bridgestone and Firestone tires. Other than that their customer service sucks!! I was on vacation and ran over a large bolt with my brand new truck and destroyed a tire. Sean has it in stock and albeit a very expensive tire (best price from Firestone, just an expensive tire anywhere) they made the experience as painless as possible. I had questions the next day and Sean and his techs went above and beyond to make sure I was happy. I would go back here in a heartbeat. read more

Upon returning to pick up my vehicle which I dropped of for routine service, I noticed the FIrestone technician had parked it in a handicapped parking space in front of the building. I spoke to the store manager 'Shawn' about this and my concerns about receiving a parking citation but more importantly preventing a disable person from lawfully parking there. He basically blew me off by stating they "own" the parking space if I had received a parking citation they would have paid for it. Not the professionalism one would expect from a company like Firestone. Unsatisfied with the store manager's flippant response, I personally contacted the regional manager for Firestone stores in the area. He apologized for the mishap and the unprofessional response by Shawn and promised to coach Shawn regarding his poor customer service skills. I went there to get my lifetime alignment recheck. They told me I needed over $2,000 in repairs. I took it to the Surprise Firestone on 17038 W Bell. They found nothing wrong. Beware of the crooked auto repair practices. read more

First time at this Firestone location. I live down the road. Took my car in today to get an oil change and tire rotated. The staff was very friendly I wish I could remember the name of the fellow who checked me in he took the time to explain all the services and looked at my tires. I had my 4 year old son with me the store was very clean I had no problems with him playing in the carpeted area. Sean checked me out and did an outstanding job explaining everything. I decided not to rotate my tires based on their feedback as I had the best tires on the back. They showed me the thin uneven tread on my front tires and quoted me a good price on a new set of tires and an alignment. I will be back to complete those in the near future. I will be back to this location and would recommend it to my friends and family. I would also recommend where ever Sean gets his teeth whitened.. wow! LOL read more

if I could give no stars, I would! do not take your car to the firestone on pebblecreek in Goodyear. they did not try to help fix my car at all. they were not willing to order a part or offer me a rental. I contacted MULTIPLE firestones who offered to order my part and a rental without me having to ask. we even spoke with the manager who was not helpful AT ALL. terrible customer service. if they did not want to fix my car (aka do THEIR JOB) for whatever the reason was- they could have simply said that. instead I was given the runaround and was placed in an extremely inconvenient situation in order to get my car fixed. if you care about your TIME and CAR at all, do not go to this firestone. read more

Awful customer service. They take forever to fix a flat tire. If I ever have issues again I'm going to discount.

I've been using Firestone for over 20 years in many states, have been very happy overall. But this particular Firestone made wildly optimistic estimates of job completion time. Don't tell me two hours and when I come back after three you haven't even started the job yet!! read more

This morning my car was very slow to start so I thought the battery was about toast. I called Firestone and spoke with Sean and he was able to squeeze my car in with very short notice. The staff was very courteous and got my car back to tip top shape. I will definitely be back. read more

They lied, straight to my face, knowing that I was desperate and that I had my kids in tow. They told me that I needed new calipers all around, as well as the brake pads and rotors. I took it to another shop, who informed me that the calipers are in good condition, and quoted me 1/3 of Firestones "lowest price possible" Needless to say, I will never recommend this location. read more

I don't even know where to start. I've had so many bad experiences at Firestone Pebble Creek that I don't know how to describe. This last one was the final straw. My car had the tire pressure light on the dash, so I checked and put air in each of the 4 tires. Light was still on, so I went to Firestone. Took them 4 hours to call me and tell me that one of the tires had a cut in the sidewall and I would need a new tire for $260. Didn't make sense, so I said no and picked up the car. Drove straight to Discount Tire and they said tire looked fine but spare tire air was low (which I forgot to check) and it also had a sensor. They put air in it and light went off. Fixed for free in 10 minutes at Discount. Never going back to Firestone! read more

STILL no response to the email Firestone asked me to send them. As I have to drive around with unbalanced tires, my "low tire" light constantly flashing because they broke my tire pressure sensor and my tires that they charged me $1400.00 for will wear unevenly because they could not perform the alignment correctly. These guys suck. I guess I should have checked the reviews first. They seem to follow the wrong business practice of "over promise, under deliver!" I needed a new battery on a recently inherited company car with 75k miles. I typically use Interstate Batteries die to their warranty and these guys were the closest dealer. Told me it would be 45 minutes to change the battery so I went to Taco Bell to sit and do some work. I came back after 1:15 hours figuring that a bit of extra time wouldn't hurt. I have now been sitting in the lobby for an additional 30 minutes and they still aren't done! read more

I attended a Firestone location on Watson in Buckeye..I was taking my family to Disneyland and I went Firestone for a service and their 100 point check...Shawn...the service manager called my cell and said I needed a new battery...He said that I was lucky to have a battery that lasted 6 years...I said ...Absolutely...put in a new battery because I didn't want any issues during our family trip...(meanwhile..after I checked my Firestone invoices...they changed my battery in November 2016, only 14 months previous...it was not 6 years old!!!) I went to California and put about 2000 miles on my vehicle with no issue...Thank God...When I returned, I found a liquid leak on my garage floor and backed out my vehicle only to find battery acid all over my garage floor....I raised the hood only to find that the battery was wrongfully installed and the battery was not sitting in the battery box properly, but offset so that one edge was sitting on the battery tray edge...the battery clamp was tightened down on this edge, only to crack the battery casing, thus causing the battery acid to leak during the trip and upon parking in my garage after the trip..battery acid on the floor...I went to Firestone to have the battery replaced the next day, and they apologized and replaced the battery...I explained that Firestone in Goodyear replaced my battery in November 2016, 14 moths earlier, and that the battery was not 6 years old, but only 14 months old...Ironically...it was a Firestone battery, not a Toyota battery that would have been original factory equipment!!! I asked Shawn, the service manager, to credit my credit card for the battery I was wrongfully charged for...He said, because it was 2 different Firestone stores, he would have to contact his area manager to get approval for the refund...I told him I wanted a credit that day, but he again said he would have to contact his area manager, and that he would get back to me that day...I left the reception area to get into my vehicle, started my vehicle, and thought I better just check the battery...I opened the hood, ONLY TO FIND THAT THE BRAND NEW BATTERY WAS IMPROPERLY INSTALLED AGAIN WITH THE BATTERY NOT IN THE BATTERY BOX, BUT TIGHTENED DOWN ON THE EDGE OF THE BATTERY TRAY....ONLY TO CAUSE THE PREMATURE FAILURE AGAIN....I WENT BACK IN TO THE SERVICE MANAGER, HE FOLLOWED ME OUT ...HAD A LOOK...LEFT...CAME BACK WITH A WRENCH AND CORRECTED THE SITUATION HIMSELF INSTEAD OF HAVING THE BATTERY TECH FIX HIS MISTAKE...I ASKED THE MANAGER IF IT WAS THE SAME TECH THAT INSTALLED THE BATTERY 3 WEEKS EARLIER, AND HE SAID HE WOULD HAVE TO CHECK THAT OUT...I WOULD WANT TO THINK HE WOULD HAVE ALREADIY CHECK THAT OUT BEFORE I WAS LEFT AT THE MERCY OF AN INCOMPITENT TECHNICIAN AGAIN...That was Saturday January 13...it is now Tuesday January 16...still with no reply....I retired from the Fire Service in Canada after 36 1/2 years service, prior to being a licensed mechanic with my interprovincial seal to work anywhere in Canada...I just hope that my Canadian counterparts, do not treat our U.S. Visitors with this same fraudulent behaviour...Now to add to this issue...OUR FAMILY PET WALKED THROUGH OUR GARAGE WITH BATTERY ACID ON THE FLOOR, NOT KNOWING WHETHER HE WALKED THROUGH THE ACID, WE CLEANED HIS PAWS, WE HAVE BEEN MONITORING THIS, AND IT SEEMS ALL IS OK...BUT TRUST ME ....IF THIS SHOULD BECOME AN ISSUE, I WILL DEFINITELY DEAL WITH THIS..THE STAIN ON THE GARAGE FLOOR..I WILL RESURFACE...BUT AGAIN, I WILL MONITOR OUR PUPPIES PAWS... This place should be rated in the negative column if there only was one. After the third time of being disappointed I went back only to be ignored at the service counter while the service manager and another employee were on the computer in the office and said I'll be with you shortly. After standing there watching them for 10 minutes I had to voice my opinion as I announced I was leaving and would never return. I could see the manager was showing a new employee how to enter his password in the computer. Too bad he wasn't training him on customer service or maybe he is so incompetent it is not possible. This Firestone gives the brand a bad name! If I could give it a negative star that would be more deserving. We have been going to Firestone for years and I have never received such bad customer service as we did at pebble creek. The manager of the store was one of the rudest individuals I have encountered. He treated us with sarcasm, hostility, and his tone was very argumentative. The prices here were more expensive and he found MULTIPLE things wrong with the car-said it was going to be over 800 dollars to fix. When we asked him to justify this he compared himself to a doctor and said we wouldn't ask a doctor these questions about or healthy so we should do the same for him. Is he serious?!? I will NEVER use this location again. It was closer to our new home so we thought we'd give it a try-bad idea! We love Firestone but this location needs to close! Read the other reviews as well and take your business elsewhere. You will get better car service, better customer service, and less arrogant people who think they are both doctors and technicians. read more

Set up an online appointment for 12:30. I showed up at 12 and told them I would leave the car and pick it up between 3-4. Only needed an oil change. I came back at 3:35 and they told me that I was next and they could be done by 4. Yeah right! Every bay was full and my car was still outside. This was my second time at this place and will be my last. Why make an appointment if you can't keep it? The guys seem nice, but I was pressed for time and they let me down. Took our vehicle in had a coupon for a $19 synthetic blend oil change pressured into a full synthetic change add a $5 extra charge for "premium oil change labor" plus $5 oil filter which isn't included in the $55 oil change pricing equals $95 total for an oil change and absolutely no costumer service. I would've been fine if they had said up front it would be $65 instead of $55 and then sneaking in $5 plus $5. read more

I regularly used to go to 2 Firestone's in Phoenix which I have loved and never had issues with. They never try to upsell me on stuff they "recommended" for my vehicle. I moved to Goodyear and I figured I would have the same experience with the local Firestone....That was not the case! I took my car for a coolant leak and once they inspected my car they told me I needed a new water pump, water outlet and to change the radiator hoses, about $1800 worth of work. I took my car to a local auto shop who told me my water pump is fine changed my water outlet and radiator hoses for $250. I AM NEVER TAKING MY CAR TO THIS SHOP EVER AGAIN!! The General Manager is always rushing around, taking on multiple tasks and customers at once, talking loudly and not providing good customer service. Another worker is nosey and interrupting conversations between other techs and their customers and possibly high on meth. I highly recommend going somewhere else or to another Firestone location. read more

Cannot recommend this store. I was there a month ago having tires put on when a man went up to the counter complaining that a type of service was recommended but when he took his car to his own mechanic, he was told nothing was wrong. I thought nothing of it. However, I was there recently to have my brakes checked and was told my rear shocks were leaking and needed replaced at a cost of $532.oo I had an extended warranty on my cadillac, so I took it to the dealer only to be told the shocks were fine and they definately were not leaking. Had the car not been under warranty, I would have told them to change the shocks and wasted ove $500! This is not a reputable store and I will not go back. read more

Received a free oil change coupon because they finished with my car and proceeded to let me sit there for another 25 minutes until I saw the car in the parking lot finished and approached them. Went back for the free oil change a few months later just to be told that it was for a standard oil change not synthetic (which the car takes). Ended up with a $40 bill. Went to get into my car and they left the "power" on (push to start car) the music was still playing and the dash was lit up. Car was unlocked. Went back in to tell them and got an "oh okay" definitely disappointed in the service we received and most likely won't be coming back to this location. read more

Don't let the niceness fool you. My wife took her car in six months ago to get an oil change. My father in-law noticed oil leaks coming out. I took my car to Toyota dealership; they said the person who did the oil change did not tighten the filter, my oil leaked all over my engine, which Toyota dealership was HONEST and the service was GREAT; took care of the problem right away. Although, I was reimbursement for the work Toyota dealership done. I thought they really do CARE about their customers. FAST FORWARD to June 23rd 18. MIND YOU, MY CAR WAS NOT MAKING NOISES! I drop off the same vehicle to get the SAME oil change and noticed how busy they were. I advised then to take their time; I am in no rush since I have a second vehicle. That night coming to find out while I was cleaning my car a big oil puddle. The next day I took it to the Toyota dealership; to find out FIRESTONE on Pebble Creek, Goodyear,Az. One of their employees JAMED! a screwdriver or some object into my oil filter bracket Because they couldn't get the oil filter out causing 3k worth of damages. Firestone was right away wanting to handle the issue. The REASON being to order BASIC parts after the dealership advise they have to be dealership parts. What turned into 3k was 300 LOW end parts form Firestone; THANK YOU Firestone, you really like to SCREW your customer in the **S! IF, I could give a NEGATIVE 0, I would. To the public, ESPECIALLY WOMEN, if you VALUE your car and can't afford to loose money over individuals mistakes; I advise you to take your car elsewhere!!!! #NICENESSINDISGUISE! read more

i wish i could give a lower rating. i went for a quick tire replacement and that was taken care of, minus the manager telling me i ruined my tire pressure sensor when i didnt. the worse part was after i get my car home i notice the person who parked it hit a curb with the bumper and ripped it. i called to speak to the manager and was told he was at lunch but since i drove home theres nothing anyone will do about it. very angry and filing a complaint with the BBB. read more

Three strikes your out. Strike 1, oil change and tire rotation. Appointment time 11:00. Dropped off vehicle and walk to lunch. Returned 1 hour later vehicle still where I parked it. Went to the desk and was told I'm next. Another 1 1/4 hours later finally finished. Oh but guess what the tires were not rotated. I always mark where each tire is on the side wall. This tells me they never even looked at the tires. Strike 2, wife took her vehicle in for oil change. Ended up getting a new cabin air filter and fuel system "treatment". Odd thing is that the cabin air filter had been changed at the dealer during a scheduled routine maintenance service 2 weeks prior. Call me an idiot, I let my wife talk me into taking her vehicle back, she liked the young woman at the desk, Sandra. Strike 3, Dropped off the wife's vehicle for another 11:00 scheduled appointment and the misses picked me up and we drove to lunch. Returned two hours later. Guess where her car was? You guessed it exactly where I parked it, never moved. This visit was only for an oil change. HEY DIMWIT MANAGER, an appointment means priority service. Can't believe this facility is in business, Firestone corporate needs to make some changes. But hey I don't care. I will never be back there. BEWARE, BEWARE, BEWARE. I have been going to Firestone for most of my vehicle repairs going on 10 years now, with really good service from almost all of them with one exception - downtown Peoria. The Pebble Creek store is fabulous, #1. The people are friendly and take time to explain things. #2. They are open on SUNDAYS!!!!!!! #3. They take ownership of their mistakes. I brought my car in because my ac wasn't working properly...they replaced a hose. A week later the ac started to do the same thing. I brought it back. I was told that it needed another hose that connects to the one I just replaced.Sean called and said I have good news and I have bad news...the good news is that the cost is the same, the bad news is the hose has to be special ordered and would take a week to receive it. I picked up my car but the paperwork he gave me did not match the original paperwork, it said it was more then twice the cost. The part was then lost in transit and I had to wait another 3 days. Once the part arrived I brought the car back to them and was told it would only be about an hour...2.5 hours later I find that the ac is still doing the same thing! It turned out to be the switch on my dash. Bottom line is the hoses needed to replaced any way because they were 12 years old and I knew they were bad, but Firestone replaced the switch for free. ($400). When I showed them the original paperwork they honored that price as well. Thank you Firestone, You have a great team. read more
