If I could leave zero stars I would. Absolutely TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I will never purchase anything from them ever again. My Fiancé and I have spent close to $2k in the last month on tires and alignments. She had a tire pressure sensor say low pressure she went back to Firestone and the person at the service desk said it was due to the weather. Excuse me we live in Texas and there's been no changes in the temperature that I'm aware of. After I CHECKED the tires one was pretty low 26 lbs when it should be 32lbs. Thanks for the help. NOT! While running some errands I noticed that my warning light said I was low as well. I stopped in at the same Firestone. This time the response was " there's the hose help yourself ". What, I sorry isn't that your JOB? After going inside to see if I could get any help I noticed the techs were pointing at my truck having a nice laugh. Great !! Anyway inside was less than helpful and pretty much directed me to corporate. Nice job who's running this business? As I was leaving another guy asked if he could help. I'm like finally someone is going to help. Yeah!! Nope he just pointed out the hose and said there it is. Yeah I got that already. Again absolutely no help. So I'm going to Discount Tire because they understand customer service. They actually have a dedicated employee that airs and looks out for issues with the customer's tires. I previously purchased a lifetime alignment while I was living in Washington State so I occasionally use Firestone just for that reason. Everything else is done at the dealership. This place is clean and they're respectful when speaking to me. Every time I've been here, they've pretty much stuck to appointment times. I debated giving them a 3 or a 4 star rating, unfortunately you can't give a 3.5 which is what I honestly believe is warranted. Every time I come here for an alignment, I always have to bring it back because the steering wheel is never centered. It's not off by much, but to me it's like the mechanic noticed it and said "meh, it's close enough". There was also an issue that I found out from the dealership, where an outer tie rod end was fused to its nut. They couldn't back the nut off at all. I had recently gotten an alignment at Firestone and I was at the dealership getting an oil change. I had them check the alignment and when they went to go make an adjustment they found, they couldn't because of the issue with the outer tie rod end. I left the dealership, came to Firestone to ask them about it and they went back to ask the mechanic that did my vehicle. Pretty crappy when he said yeah he couldn't get it backed off. Was nobody going to tell me? You've been doing alignments on my vehicle this whole time but never able to adjust the left tie rod end?? It wasn't a dramatic adjustment needed but still.. I've since replaced inner and outer tie rods on both sides so we're good now. but I would have liked to have known so I could prolong the life of my tires you know? Took my truck in for an alignment, did not have an appointment so I knew wait time was gonna be a few hours till they got to my vehicle, not an issue. Issue was after the alignment service was done. I replaced all steering and front suspension components myself correctly and when the tech finished he parked my truck and it was another 40 minutes pay for my service requested, mind you it was slow when I went in. Paid and drove vehicle down the road and the alignment was not done correctly, vehicle pulls hard to one side and the steering wheel was not set straight. I have been going to Firestone on frontage Rd North of I20 in Grand Prairie for several years now since I arrived in TX in July 2018. This is by far the worst experience and team since COVID has reduced. I scheduled appointment for 1PM Saturday, after waiting for 2 hrs, my 2015 Volvo was never touched. Rescheduled for Wednesday @530PM. Supposedly they performed oil change and wheel alignment in 45min (red flag). I checked my oil it is mostly clean, I still have sediment on dip stick (red flag). I touched the cap of my oil filter - it is still dusty. I asked to see my old filter, he said, "it was thrown away on the "bin"", yet every single drainage pan (3ea) we walked by had the previous persons oil filter in the drain pan, yet mine was thrown away in the "bin". I talked to "mechanic" as we walked to my car and he explained he sprayed off the oil filter cover and cleaned with rag all oil from it. Again, I wiped lots of dust off the lid with my fingers and made lines in dust on my oil filter cap, he stayed with his story that he replaced it. I change my own oil in all other vehicles, but have no intention on keeping this vehicle, so maintaining records with Firestone (helicopter mechanic and pilot, so your employee's story is just that, a story.) This is absolutely absurd customer service and very concerning especially with how many miles I drive and having my son with me. My grandfather gave 32 years of dedication to this company and for that I would go to Firestone. So My Girlfriends tire popped on St Patrick's Day; she was delivering Door Dash and we knew it was from a bad Wheel alignment so we took it in to get it aligned. They called me back saying I had to replace all tie rods, sway bars and control arms on both sides to do the alignment and quoted me over 2300$. We're talking about an auction cop car 2005 impala so this is way more than the car is even worth. Being skeptical I took it to my normal mechanic Cornerstone Car care AKA Wayne's Car Care who looked at it and confirmed we that we only needed outer tie rods on both sides. It was less than 350$ out the door !! I'm disabled and Firestone should be ashamed for trying to take advantage of us!! What a joke ! read more

WOW! Where do I start. I've been a loyal customer for 8yrs and everything was good until the last 3 years. I'm not sure who actually runs the show there but the manager Hippo does not seem competent whatsoever when it comes to fixing cars. I had a squeak in my suspension last year and they claimed it was the suspension and needed an oil change. They charged me $1500 to replace 2 shocks in the rear and $500 for a new oil pan because they stripped my oil pan screw. Within 1 week the squeak came back and they said all they could do is put more WD40 on it. (THIS IS WITH THE WARRANTY!!). In June of this year, I took my Honda Civic to get a full diagnostic test and they stripped my lug nuts, never contacted me, I went up there. and they demanded I get a tow truck to take it home because it wasn't safe. How was I suppose to know to have a tow truck ready if they hadn't called me to give me any details after having my car for 5 business days. I'm over this company, contacted corporate and they claimed the district manager would reach out, he/she never did. I will not shop with them again and I'm currently filing with the BBB. Robert helped me, he's a customer service pro, kept me updated throughout the process. Just observing the mechanic team working in the garage they seemed all in sync communicating as one unit, with respect. That's how good teams work, communication is key, this place was busy today and they continued to work diligently. It's nice knowing their are solid garages out there that preform under pressure and not to mention serious heat. Idk about every firestone, but this one is on the point. read more

I visited this Firestone when in need of an oil change. I love that Firestone offers walk-in oil changes. When a coupon was in my weekly circular, I headed to this Firestone and got an oil change for $24.95-synthetic oil blend and all for my small but high maintenance car. :-) Laura was very friendly and helpful. She really broke down my car's needs and I can tell she cares about the customers. My wait was an hour and a half, which was a half hour longer than quoted, but I didn't mind too much as I had a magazine and some work to do. Once they pulled my car in the actual oil change didn't take that long. It was just busy for a weekday/ Overall good location, good service, and a good price! read more

I've purchased a lifetime alignment knowing I'll probably will need to use it. Not long after I had the ball joint replace and needed to get my front end alignment done again so I called and was told the "rack" is free and I'll be in and out. I was there for 1.5hrs to find out my truck has been moved to the back but have not been touched. The manager stated there was a women whose been waiting all day and her car needed to be align first so I've waited the lady left and my truck was still parked. I came here for the first time today based on the Yelp reviews I read and was very impressed. This was my second opinion on a brake issue I was having, and here they took their time and checked everything out, as well as doing a much needed tire rotation. They told me of a few things that they recommended maintenance for, but not in a pushy way. These guys were actually concerned about customer service, and treated each of their customers with the same kind of caring. I didn't experience the quick service everyone else mentioned (3 hour wait with appointment), but then again I was having a lot more checked them just a quick oil change, and on a Saturday. My car didn't start and it cranked till runs out the battery so I called urgently towing and I actually got to Firestone before the tow truck to get to Firestone so I came in to let the service man what was wrong and that my car couldn't start and the battery runs out because I kept on cranking it so it probably needs charging before you can try to start it again so he said they'll find out what's wrong after I pay for a complete diagnosis which cost $92. So I agreed and paid the $92 for the diagnosis which 3 days later I haven't heard nothing from the service guy so I drove there ask him so what he find? He doesn't even remember me or my car and kept asking what year and model so i gave him the information again. Here's what is wrong with my car and I told him you were straight to pay for the diagnose and I haven't heard from you So I came here to see what is wrong with my car. He then say oh, my bad my mistake. After talking couple minutes in his computer, He said we couldn't find anything you need a new battery without the battery we can't do anything. I told him the battery is good just need to charge it And he said get a new battery. The battery is very low just need a new battery. So I do I agree wouldn't forget a new battery, After five days I have not heard anything from him so I called again. Thu told me he called me back and he don't recognize me or my car again kept asking make and model and asking what is wrong with it? So I have to go through that process again for him to fill it out because he can't remember. Then he said I have to check with the mechanic I'll call you back. So he called me back the same day, And I thought you found a symptom but no he told me, You have to tow your car to the dealership because we don't have the computer to read it so you have to get it to the dealership they have to computer to tell what's wrong with your car. So I paid for the diagnosis and I couldn't diagnose what was wrong with the car but I never did Here to ask him if they do the diagnosis or not. I just took my car back totally dealership. Guy in background: have him come in 11am Sunday Her: he wants you to come in at 11am Sunday Me: how long does it take? Her: 60-90 minutes Dropped off car at 10:54am for my appointment at 11am. Came back at 2p to see what was the status. The car was already on the lift with all four wheels/tires removed. The car was done at 2:40pm. Total was $109 for wheel mount and balance, recycle fee and the tmps fee. Total time: 3 hours 40 mins. Plan accordingly! Why two stars? I found two scratches deep in the wheel well. No way these were from curb rashes. Lack of care and attention. I won't be coming here again. read more

My wife brought her suburban in on the 9th of May. Funny thing, they called me instead of my wife. They told me that the rf tire had to be replaced because of sidewall damage and that the rear tires too had to be changed out. So I told them not to touch my vehicle. Called wife asking her why she went and dropped the vehicle off at that place. She explained and I told her I was going to pickup the truck and take it to discount tire on the other side of interstate 20. The guys at discount tire looked at the bad tire and said there wasn't any sidewall damage. The tire got a flat due to a leaking valve stem. They repaired the tire for free of charge and was quick.They also took a tread gauge and showed me that I had another 40000 miles left on the tires in the rear. These guys at Firestone tried to rip my wife off by telling her all what i mentioned at the beginning of this review . On top of the non-repairable tire, which meant she would have had to get a whole new set of tires there. I've never trusted that place after getting my brakes done there, in which they did a crappy job of doing. Had to get my rotors changed out and new brakes installed somewhere else. You're better off going through yelp and look for a local business that can get the job done right. read more

I have to admit it's my mistake to pick this store before I review all comments. I have a hole on the tire I just realized when I was in the office on Tuesday noon time so I have to find a store to replace tires quickly. I picked this store since it's close and they promised they could get the work done within 2 hrs so I can still drive back home myself. However it took them 1.5 hr to realize the tires they ordered are wrong so that they had to reorder them and keep my car for the next day. The front desk promised me the work can be done by lunch time on Wednesday and then on Wednesday 12:30 I received the call to ask how late I can allow for the car to be finished. I asked for 2 pm and he tried to convenience for 3:30 pm. Now it's 3:30 and I was told they need another hour. They have no idea and no interest to keep the schedule they promised and everyone shall be aware that they don't care your time as they said on the website. My daughter had her front brakes done here last May with a life time warranty. The mechanic made a terrible mistake. He left a bolt loose on the spindle that holds the brake caliber. The bolt finally worked its self out. Cause her caliber to lock up inside her rim when she applied the breaks. Luck most definitely on her side that day. She only first applied her brakes while existing and by pulled into Wendy's restaurant. A half a block up from Firestone where she had a life time warranty on her brakes. My daughter called me in a panic. Telling me that her brakes locked. I owed my own auto shop in the past. I use to be a good mechanic. The female manager would not take any responsibility for the work they performed on my daughters 2008 Grand Cherokee Laredo. This vehicle is in perfect shape there's not one bit of rust on it. this vehicle is a Texas owned vehicle. The manager was trying to explain to me that this 2 inch long by at least 5/8 inch thick Bolt had rusted out. She wasn't even concerned at all for one it just had to happen to my daughter. She said and I quote that if it was due to their error that my daughter would have brake failure in three days. Being such a large Bolt and fine thread and having the weight of the car on it it took a long period of time for the Bolt to work its way out. So I'm telling you if you have any work done over there to please have another mechanic check their work that they done for you. I remember if you take it back to him all they're going to do is make up excuses. Thank you for your time and good luck in the future and if I were you I use anybody else than Firestone at that particular location I'm not putting down other Firestone locations only this one with this inexcusable manager that they have there. They did say that they would look at the vehicle after we got a tow truck and told it in remember we are only a half a block away at the Wendy's up the street. So personally I wouldn't do business with them and really I thought about suing them getting with a lawyer and having him have a nice fun time with these people. At times like this I think I would've been better off doing my brakes myself.
