After postponing an oil change on my work truck until I was nearly out of oil, I finally bit the bullet and took some time to take care of it this afternoon. Typically when I go to get my work vehicle serviced, I plan to have a ride so that I'm not stuck waiting for hours in an overly booked service center. I called ahead to see how long the wait would be and was delighted when the gentleman that answered informed me I could get right in and would be out in 30-45 min. This is literally unheard of in Las Vegas. I have taken my office's entire fleet of trucks for service at one time or another and have ALWAYS had to leave them at least half a day. The store is clean and the technicians appear professional and knowledgeable. As an added bonus, the sitting area is comfortable and offers coffee, refrigerated bottled water, free wifi, and a variety of magazines. I will definitely continue to bring my truck in whenever it's in need of an oil change/service. read more

This shop has gone downhill since Stephanie and Bing are no longer there. The Service Mgr Johnny Garcia is rude and inconsiderate of his customers, as was witnessed by customers and employees alike. Another customer witnessed the interaction I had with Mr. Garcia, and she gave me the 800 number to call. I reported the situation to their corporate 800 number almost 2 weeks ago, but still waiting for any kind of resolution. They keep telling me that "someone will get back with you within 48 hours". Someone did call (while I was at work) and left a message, 2 days ago. I called right back and left them a message with a good time to reach me. No response. Called again yesterday and left another voicemail, still no response. I called the 800 # again today, and again was told "someone will get back with you within 48 hours". It is apparent to me that Firestone no longer cares about its customers. read more

They need a zero stars button because that's what our recent experience was, a garbage experience. My husband dropped his car off at 11am in which the tech said it'd be done around 3pm. Now, 3pm comes around and we get no call so we decide to wait closer to closing time. We get to the shop and the vehicle is in the same place not touched after my husband called and someone told him his car was still "hanging". On top of lying about it being mid-worked on they just didn't do anything at all. This place used to be good we'd been coming here for years but I'm guessing those other reviews of new management are correct. It's gone down the drain. Firestone next time you guys book people make sure your employees are able to handle the task or at least let us know the vehicle wouldn't be touched and we would've taken our vehicle someplace else. I have taken my BMW X3 here multiple times for issues. Last time I took it in, they ran a diagnostic and told me straight up they couldn't pin point the problem, and referred me to a BMW specialty auto shop. Not only are they always honest, they saved me a butt load of money! Instead of caring all about the money and fixing something that might've not been the issue, they referred me to someone they knew and got the problem fixed right away! read more

This firestone use to be our go to auto-mechanic. I've continued to come here after the new management, with hopes they would get it together. However, they haven't. They now scam you and don't fix what you ask them too. I would make an appointment over the phone and when I get there, they would say I didn't have an appointment scheduled. We show them the coupons we have on the app for and a/c unit inspection and oil change but now they say we have to print them and they charged us more then double the amount. The front office is rude and getting your car maintenance is already a difficult. Don't waste your time or money here. read more

thank you Firestone!! saved the day, for this mom. . my car was in need of changing the Catalitic and O2 sensors, and i had spent 2 weeks calling places, Johnny was so helpful, asured me that if i brought my car in the morning of, it would be done by the end of the day. let me tell you, they kept their word, kept me posted with an update, and called when my car was ready. What i called for, they definitely came in lower price wise then the dealership quoted me on for the same part. I was a former firestone tech back in California as a B-Level technician with an A5, A6, and a A7 in ASE. I brought my vehicle to this firestone 3 times giving this place a chance, to earn my trust for services. First time I brought it here was a year ago for a simple oil change, replace 4 tires , as well as an alignment with no courtesy check. Sales clerk was decent with taking my repair order notes, as I told him I need it back in about 3 hours of drop off. Since I was a appointment red ticket I should of been taken care of first, since there was also no wait, no customer. It didn't come back until the end of the day. I only knew of the completion after I called to ask if the vehicle was done. When I returned to pick it up I visualized the tires and notice the valve stems were not replace for 4 brand new tires and the alignment machine was down, so the service was never completed. The fact the machine went down was not the issue, working in the industry I understand but the lack of updating me or notifying me prior to pick up that the alignment procedure cannot be made is the issue, also the issue of the valve stem not being replaced. I brought it up to the sales clerk, but did not have time for them to dismount and remount 4 tires due to it being the end of the day. I was hesitant to bring it back anyways. The second time I came was about 2-3weeks ago, I came in for a 4 tire replacement plus an alignment check giving this place a second chance because I used to work for this corporation and understand sometimes employees slack. I brought in the vehicle and spoke to a very well trained sales clerk, gave her all the notes as well requested for her to tell the tech to keep the old valve stems so I can verify it being replaced. I told her I need it back in 3 hours and I got the confirmation for it to be done. Got the call back to pick up the vehicle a few hours later, as I returned everything seemed as it should be, I even tip the sales and the tech who help process on my vehicle. As I'm driving to work I notice the vehicle pulls to the right as I straighten out the steering wheel, so I kindly called the firestone back to place another appointment to get it fixed. A day goes by and driving the vehicle and having to counter the pull is quite annoying, so I rescheduled an early date and time. I brought it in to get the alignment done again as I finished with the sales counter and they put up the ticket. I overheard the tech ask what's wrong as the sales rep replied the tech laughed as I wasn't standing there like I didn't know what I was talking about. I shrugged it off and let it go. When the tech finally brought in my vehicle, noted the same tech that laughed earlier. Placed the vehicle on the alignment rack, I stood back to see what the corrections may be. After he placed sensors and ran through the process I also notice him adjusting the TOE both front axle. As he completed the process, I simply asked him what was out and he replied nothing , nothing is wrong and the last tech simply didn't reset the vehicle . I thought to myself did he not just make corrections? So again I shrugged it off and I let it go. He comes back from the test drive and again said it was all good. I tipped this tech off as well, showing my gratitude even thou he was rude and extended the truth about my vehicle. I grabbed my vehicle for the ride home, and yet again pulls to the right. I since then brought this vehicle to a different company for the alignment and boom no pull. I have giving this place 3 chances, please if you want quality techs working on your vehicle and wanting to provide quality service for your hard earned money. After stopping here to get an oil change after making it cross country, we have to say that our experience was nothing less than five stars. The staff members here were incredibly polite, extremely prompt, and went out of their way to take care of us since we were getting it done on a rental car. When we asked questions we were greeted with respectful answers which at times isn't the case when talking about something you don't know. At one point there was an issue with this store getting reimbursement from the rental company, but instead of making it a huge deal and extending our time they let us go on our way and took car of the issue later. In the end, I am a fan of this Firestone and we are happy that we stopped at this particular branch. read more

Robert at Firestone was incredibly helpful. I went in and told him the issue I had and he took the time to look at my tire in the parking lot to see if it would be a quick fix. He couldn't find anything so he recommended that I make an appointment so that I wouldn't have to wait. When I came back for my appointment I was attended to quickly. A nail was found in my tire and they fixed it for free. Robert was polite and courteous. His mild mannered exterior and neatly trimmed beard betrayed his inner bad-boy, though. I could tell that he'd have my back in a bar fight just as soon as he'd visit my grandmother in the hospital. He'll probably be the Godfather to my unborn child. ***Please Read Before it's Too Late *** ***Might cost you $8000 if you take your car here*** I bought a used 2012 VW CC which only 30k miles on it in 2015. I have been bringing my car to this firestone ONLY for two years. They even sold me on getting the firestone credit card so I have been exclusively bringing my car here for two years. Oils changes, new tires anything they advised I did. This past November or December I took my car for a oil change and everything went well. Around March I looked up at the sticker in my window and noticed that the oil change sticker was not dated but it the mileage for the next oil change was not for another 4000 miles. The sticker said it was 10000 miles from the last time I had one. I thought nothing of it and a couple days later my check engine light came on. I called firestone and let them know that I was having my car towed over because the light came on. Phil told me that I didn't not need to tow it bit I didn't feel comfortable. When the tow truck arrived I had over a quarter tank of gas and was running. When the car was dropped off at firestone Phil came out and said you probably need an oil change because you haven't been since November. I said the sticker in the car says I have another 4000 miles. He stated he could believe any of his guys would make that mistake. We went outside together and he was in shock. He also said I needed gas which was hard to believe because I had the car towed over. He told me to leave the car over night and they would take care of the oil change and it should be ready tomorrow. Because I had been going there for years I though nothing of it. The next day I never received a call to update me of the status so I called they told me they needed one more day. I explained to them that I took and Uber to work and needed my car back soon. Another day went by and I decided to go up there myself. They told me that it looked like I needed a new engine but they wanted to make certain. Mind you firestone does not to any engine work so the fact that they had my engine in pieces was mind boggling. The next day they called and told me I needed to come and get my car and it needed a whole new engine. They also told me I needed to have it towed out of there because it was no longer running. WHAT!!!! When I got there I spoke with Rudy at the front desk who is great but he was very nervous to talk to me because I know he felt guilty. He referred me to Chris the store manager. Chris told me there was nothing they could do about the car and I could start a claim with the corporate office. I asked how and he gave me the wrong number. I went outside to talk to the tow truck driver and guess what??!! That sticker the only evidence that I had to show they were negligent was missing from my windshield. I went back inside and asked Rudy where it was and what the procedure is for those. Rudy told me that they have to log and keep them. And he would get Chris who told me that the guy who was working on my car was not in and he would call me tomorrow so I could come pick it up. Of course I never received a call and I had to keep pestering Chris until he started a claim. He was never able to locate the sticker and I had to get a new $6500 engine and rent cars another $1500 for the next month until I got it fixed. I had a claim number and when I spoke with him he told me that a engine can go out for to many different reasons so there wasn't much they could do. He told me to contact him after the repairs were complete and we would go from there. After weeks of renting cars and coming up with $8000 I finally had the repairs complete and left three voicemail for the claims department. No response. I finally emailed him and he said he never received a voicemail. I asked him what the next step was and he said he hoped the repair shop still had the old parts so they could investigate which is the opposite of what I was originally told. I asked him about that and he has yet to respond. Theses guys are scam artists and they knew they were the cause of my engine failure so they did everything they could to cover their track and left me with an $8000 bill with no other car in the world. ***DO NOT GO HERE*** read more

WOW HONEST MECHANICS!! Brought my car in for (obviously needed) brakes in June 26th. After waiting approximately 90 minutes, the advisor pulled me aside to give me the estimate!! It was over $1700!! He said, before we start anything we suggest you call the dealer (my car is 6yrs old) and see if anything is covered under warranty. So, I called the dealer made an appointment and found out most of the work was covered under warranty! It cost me $600, but a lot better than $1700!!! I've been taking my truck here for the past two years and I will not take her anywhere else. The guys and gals at this shop have always been honest, kind, and helpful. The staff recognizes me when I come in, and ask how I've been. It's nice when you can go somewhere and see the same faces every time. I also appreciate the fact that they don't talk to me like I'm stupid because I am a woman when they're explaining an issue with my truck. Another plus is how clean they keep their waiting area. I've been a Vegas resident for 5 years, and it was not until I started bringing my car to Firestone did I ever experience ANY issues or suspicion that the mechanics were purposely messing up my new car. It took 4 separate visits for them to tell me A.C COMPRESSOR had a small crack. During those visits MY ANTI FREEZE cap was left off during an oil change which caused my car to over heat. I was reimbursed the costs by manager for that incident, but the LAST TIME I brought my car my ANTI FREEZE was drained completely. Luckily I popped the hood and doubled checked before I drove off. They said nothing else was wrong with my car!!! I'm glad I didn't believe them, and I stormed inside and complained and they re-filled it with universal coolant without a word. I had my car there for 4 hours that day and they didn't notice that or tell me? If my car engine was damage for their neglect or sabotage during any of the four visits I will be seeking compensation. My car is new and should not have these issue. I was offered a free oil change but I wouldn't bring my car to that location EVER again. I was in the Navy I am not a regular woman, I know what's what!!!! They picked the wrong one! I brought one of my vehicles in after first visiting the location around the Galleria Mall, which was inexplicably closing several hours early. The purpose of my visit was a 4 wheel alignment. They were a bit busy, and said it might be a while. I left the vehicle with them and returned home. Late in the afternoon I got a call from the manager who said that they would have to keep it overnight. The next day I was called to come pick up the car. The vehicle was backed into a parking space rear first. This always makes me nervous, because I wonder if something is being hidden. I did a cursory inspection of the vehicle for damage, as I typically in the habit of doing when dropping off and picking up vehicles. I noticed a fresh dent/scratch on the right side of the rear bumper cover. The vehicle had body work done and was freshly painted bumper to bumper, so it's pretty easy to tell. I immediately went in and spoke to the associate who was present. I made him aware of the damage and he said he would get in touch with the manager. Somehow the printer wasn't working so sent me a copy of my receipt via sms. I sent him an sms back notating the damage, and expecting a response. No response was received to the sms, nor did the manager ever contact me. I went back to the location and spoke with the manager, and he indicated that he would get with the GM and their insurance company. Again, no follow through from them. I then proceeded to send a demand letter via certified mail with no response. I then send another demand letter via certified mail to them and their Nevada resident agent. This got me in touch with someone in their corporate who played games and wasted my time. There was absolutely no compensation, accountability, or apology. I am considering further action. I needed a plug for my tire and made an appointment with Firestone. I went to the wrong one (as there are 5 within 6 miles of my house). He directed me to the one on Stephanie st. I go there and yet again it was the wrong one however, the employees at the front said they would take my car anyway. She was very polite and attentive. She explained everything to me. I received a call within an hour that my car was finished. The young man at the front was excellent. He gave me the paperwork, ensured my keys were sanitized, and asked me if i needed anything else. Had a flat on my way to work went to this Firestone to get it repaired. Paid the 20 to get it fixed the very next day another flat same tire. I brought the tire back again only to have them call me and tell me the tire is unfixable . I'm not sure why they didn't know this the first time They did offer me a discount on the tire but we're very rude and just threw the spare in the back of my truck claiming they didn't have tools to put it back where it belongs. Then after leaving realized the new tire was under inflated. I will never go back for any reason and will not let any of my family use them. Very unprofessional to say the least. read more

One of the associates was on the phone for 10 minutes with 3 guests waiting in front of him.. The phone conversation didn't seem to be going anywhere either! Would only trust this place for a oil change and I would still have to double check it after. Brought a Kia in because the brakes were squeaking. They called me and told me just the front brakes need to be changed. Quoted me 500 for brakes and rotors. Get the car back and it's still squeaking. Call joe to bring it back in they did a cleaning on it. He tells me if it squeaks again I need to replace the rear brakes. But when I first brought the car in the rear was fine all the sudden they need to be changed so what I have to pay another 500 to change that out. Nothing but low level mechanics that up charge and don't even fix the problem. My car is still squeaking. Why should I have to pay more money when you couldn't fix it the first time. Waffled back and forth between one and two stars. Felt maybe they only deserved two because they didn't actually break anything on my car, but went with one anyway because I felt they would have. These aren't mechanics; they're minimum wage guys who've been trained to do a repetitive task over and over. I took my car in for an alignment, and when I tried telling the service rep what was going on with my car, he stared at me blankly like he had no idea what I was talking about, then handed me a pre-printed questionnaire to fill out inquiring about the symptoms as to why I felt I needed an alignment. Okaaaay.... Then, when the guy was trying to input the info into the computer, despite my telling him literally no fewer than five times the make, model, and year of my car... he was searching under the wrong car brand! Not off to a good start, especially since he kept trying to upswell me on things I didn't want. Well, not-good start got worse when I got a call 30 minutes after dropping it off, saying they couldn't do an alignment on my car, because it was too new and they didn't have the proper specs for it. Mind you, I was in need of an alignment because I'd changed parts on my car from factory stock, so stock specs wouldn't have done them any good anyhow. They should have known this when I asked them if they could do alignment work to begin with. If you're the sort of person who has no problem getting their oil changed at Walmart or Jiffy Lube, because you prize cheapness over quality, attentive mechanics, then maybe you'll do alright here. If you're someone who wants to take your car to a shop with trained, knowledgeable mechanics who understand how to maintain a car properly, or are a person who values your time, avoid this place at all costs. read more

New location is nice, clean, friendly, and helpful. I called around to a few other places before deciding to go here. One of the reasons I chose this place was because when I called they not only went out of there way to help but I actually was on the phone with the General Manager (I had no idea at the time) who gave me a few different selections and information about them. Well the model I wanted they didn't have in stock but he then said being a new customer to Firestone I want you to get a good deal and so they where going to give me these really nice and crazy expensive tires for a bit more than the ones I wanted. I scheduled the appointment for that day. As I was getting ready to leave they called me back saying the actually located the tires I wanted and sent someone to go and get them. Which I was happy about but then I kinda wasn't because he made those other tires sound so good and at an extremely discount rate it was an amazing deal. (but still a little more than I wanted to spend) I said great and ended up with my original choice. I dropped my car off and they had it done pretty quickly. Great service and friendly, but of course they try to up-sell you. Here are the three reasons they didn't get a 5 star 1) I overpaid to have an alignment $90 is pretty fricking stiff but I wanted to just have the whole thing done at the same time so I paid. 2) I didn't like that they didn't have the one extra thing Nitrogen instead of air in my tires since I have low pros and the air goes quicker than Nitrogen does. 3) I noticed a few days later all of my tire caps went missing after the tire replacement. On a side note is this a scam from tire shops because the 3 times I have got tires they have always gone missing and then they try to sell me new ones. Went here a few months ago in the summer for an AC repair quote, and was told it would cost $1800. And, the $1800 didn't include repairs for my rear AC blower fan. The cost was high but I figured it to be correct, but it was too high for me at the time. Since I have another car that I use daily, dealing with the heat for the last month of the summer was no big deal, My wife or I would just use it for short trips to the store if the other car was in use. Now that my wife has a new job, the car is in use more. After driving it for a while she told me that the horn was not working, and there were some other problems i should look at. Figuring the horn didn't work because of the fuse, I checked. The fuse was blown, this fuse is also the AC fuse. After changing this 20A fuse, the AC started working. read more

Im currently pleased with my overall service. My only problem lies with the fact that I didnt have my firestone card. So when i biked all the way to firestone at 6:10 pm. Waited about 15 minutes for the clerk to be available. I couldnt pay with my card because i didnt have it and some place was closed so he wouldnt be able to do it. I paid with another card after looking through my firestone card account for a credit card number with no avail. I went home, called the credit card company and they informed me that my account number is my credit card number. I think the workers should know that and be able to tell their customers about their own customer card. Im honestly so incredibly upset about such a minuscule thing. My car was taken care of in a timely manner and Terry was helpful. I just think he couldve told me such a simple detail. I have had 4 flat tires within the past year, and they have helped me every time very efficiently and quickly. They also replaced my tire and my car battery and their service has always been amazing.
