this is the most horrible tire shop i've been too.. they make you wait long periods of time without saying anything, and they have horrible costumer service. nothing like the one in catedral city or palm springs, i took my car in and they lost my lock to change my tires.. and they said the only thing they could do is take them off and put regular lug nuts on the car. irresponsible. and terrible workers. read more

I recently had an emergency in Indio and chose this Firestone store because they were open on Sunday. I arrived at 8 am and they were already open and had every bay filled. I was initially told that my wait would be 90 minutes. When I told the manager that I was trying to get back to San Diego he told me he would try to fit me in. To my surprise he called my name about 20 minutes later. They had me in and out within an hour. I really appreciate him fitting me in and making necessary repairs so timely. My husband and I stopped for a bite to eat on our way home to the Phoenix area and our car wouldn't start. Our insurance recommended we be towed here. It took them 3 hours to diagnose the problem and then another 3 hours to repair it. Our starter had gone bad and needed to be replaced. The only time we got an update from the mechanics was when we went to ask them what was going on ourselves and it seemed to me like they were more interested in taking video of the rain outside than working on the cars in the bay. I still give 3 stars because the staff was friendly and they got us on our way without having to stay the night in Indio... even if they waited until 5 minutes to closing time. read more

These guys took 2 hours to do uber inspection, even when I had an appointment. I walked down the street and came back after 1.5 hour. The guys looked panic and looked like they had done no inspection. They proceeded to take another half hour. I have had inspection before and it has never taken this long and I have never had such bad service. read more

Amazing customer service!!!! I ran over a bike brake handle that had gotten stuck in my tire near shakeys and I drove my car over there because it was nearby ... I was crying I was so scared nothing like that had happened I didn't know what to do me and my grandma went and the doors were locked and we walked over to where they work on cars and asked if they could help.. Seeing how distraught we were they agreed and stayed an HOUR after closing to help us!!! And they also gave us a really good deal on new tires. Becarefull with this place! I went yesterday to repair a flat tire and they tried to sell me a new tire with balance & alignment on it, for a Total of $175. They thought I was gonna be so stupid to let them steal my money. THIS IS HOW THIS PLACE DO THIEF BUSSINESS: they would sale a tire w/bal & w/alig for $175, and the flat tire they would repair it and sell it for propblay $50. So now is $225 dollars total out of my flat tire which in real repairs I wouldnt spent more then $25. So $200 profit in thief bussiness at this Firestone location in Indio CA. Took my vehicle in for a Oil change and they did a horrible job. My car broke down as soon as I tried driving it on the 10 freeway. They did not tighten up the plate underneath after performing the oil change.. This caused the car to continuously drag the plate on freeway.. They did send a tow truck to tow vehicle thank you for that but the inconvenience and I had a important appointment that I was extremely late too.. read more

1/27/2016 I promised you an update, so here's the latest. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. My tire and wheel has been all over. Firestone had me send it to them in another state, they said they are not responsible because because because they only sale the tire not manufacturer it. They sent it to the manufacturer in Rancho Cucamonga, Ca. GITI TIRE. After months of waiting for the tire to be inspected and numerous phone calls all made by me. I was told that they have decided that it was not tire error and they are refusing to fix my car. They also told me that I would be getting a certified letter from there attorneys. Well I'm still waiting for the letter and my tire and wheel to be returned to me. I left another message on the person voice mail today. As I thought no one is taking responsibility for my tire and the damage that was done. PLEASE WOULD SOMEONE REPLY AND HELP ME. A 7 HOUR TIRE DOES NOT BLOW UP LIKE IT DID. PLUS IT HAD ONLY BEEN DRIVEN MAXIMUM 30 - 45 MINUTES. PLEASE HELP ME. Firestone how can you say you are not responsible, you sold the tire, in my book that makes you responsible. I trusted you, thousands of people trust you. Now I don't and I hope everyone who reads this thinks twice before buying a tire from you. If you are a stand up company you would do the right thing and repair my car. Six thousand dollars is a day's work for you CEO AND CFO but for me I just can't afford it. read more

Very disappointed with the way my recent service was handled. Minor service was treated as a minor priority. Quoted 2 hours over the phone and at drop off, actual time at the shop was a little over 6 hours. When the service was completed, the summary was given to me along with recommended fixes. I appreciate that, so that I am now able to take my business to an establishment that has some regard for their customers time. I understand that a quoted time is not a guarantee, but I do think that somewhere within the 6 hours, a courtesy call would have made me feel better about the whole situation, or at the very least an apology at pick up. I guess my recommendation for other customer would be sit, wait, and don't allow them to make you an afterthought like they did me. There are a lot of options for tires and car service in this valley, Firestone needs to make an effort to earn people's business, not be indifferent about it. They lost my business, hopefully it is better for the next person. read more

The worst auto care service location in the whole state of California. David (manager) is very rude and incapable of managing the place. Phill (service advisor) is very agresive and lies when selling any kind of repair service. The lack of knowledge of their mechanics make you wonder if they really are prepare to do any auto repair. The worse nightmare that anyone could have. Instead of fixing your car, they will brake it. You will end up paying a lot of many to correct all the mess that they do to your car, especially for the most vulnerable people: elderly persons, women, or a disable persons. That location need to be clean up from top to bottom. Is unfortunately that the corporate office does not care about their costumers. Please check your invices and your vehicles because they will take advantage of every single trick in order to get your business and your money. They don't deserve half star, but that is the least one can give in order to publish a review. read more

We broke down 20 miles outside of Indio and got towed to Firestone as it was the only open store this past Labor Day weekend - which we were very grateful for. Al was lovely and very nice to speak to and helpful however we feel we were taken advantage of. We were quoted $1500 for what we needed done and he explained it was at least 12 hours of labor and he couldn't even guarantee it would be done within by Monday night (this was Sunday morning). It was more cost effective for us to pay to get our car towed back to LA and have our mechanic fix the same issue for $800. I understand there can be price discrepancies but.... and in hindsight I was chatting to another lady who had also gotten towed to them that same day and was in a bind and she had a completely separate issue and had the exact same bill of $1500... everyone we have since talked to said $1500 was daylight robbery. Glad we avoided them! read more
