I made an appointment to get 4 new tires and got to my appointment 30 minutes early. They told me it would take about 2 hours which seemed like a lot but i was like sure. 2 Hours later i asked if its almost done, they say it will be another 2 hours because they havent even started. I tell them i had to leave because i had other arrangements for my day and it takes them another hour and a half to give me back my keys! All of that and i didnt get my new tires! These guys were great I had a 2 o'clock appointment for an alignment and even though they were super super busy they got my truck done within an hour. They didn't try to sell me on unneeded repairs but told me the truth about 1 thing that needed a repair so I had them do it. They're affordable and professional. Shout outs to Alexis, Jennifer, and Danny they were both cordial and helpful and polite. Alexis answered all my questions he was very helpful, Jennifer was great to me over the phone and Danny did my repairs. I had questions for him and he was nothing but polite and positive. Botched an oil change, the most basic service you can do. Used wrong oil plug which caused a leak, plus the filter was leaking when I eventually took it to the dealer to get it sorted out. If they can't get this right, there is nothing further to consider. Avoid. read more

Don't buy lifetime wheel alignment warranty , they treat those owners like step children .. first time was fine because I actually paid so my vehicle was completed before I could walk home. Second time they aligned the wheels they attempted to offer a service i did not need and that i can easily do myself (gtfoh) My most recent attempt, i called ahead to see what time frame would be to do alignment , i was told to bring the vehicle because it could be done ....but when I got there it was to busy (after driving from Torrance to west LA mid day WTF) so i made appointment for the next day. I arrive for 11am appointment on time and sat for 2 hours ... at that point I had to ask someone what was the status of my vehicle and at that time I was told unfortunately someone was put in front of me and my car was still sitting in the parking lot. I informed the service tech I had to take my wife to a Dr's Appointment and i had to leave at a certain time. At this point the service tech didn't want to hold me up and gave me my keys back so i could leave .. Firestone has a fricked up appointment system because as I'm writing this I'm sitting at a completely different location and had a 2pm appointment car has been sitting for 1 hour untouched. Where to begin- This place is by far the worst place to get your car fixed. Let's take a quick moment and talk about manager's terrible attitude. If I could rate this Firestone location lower than 1 star I would. Not only did they waste my time, they were incredibly rude to me and other patrons at the store. The woman up front who claims to be the manager is unhelpful, unkind, and belittles customers. She also mentioned a policy that I followed up with the corporate office on, which they said states was not actually a policy all. Yes, they offer lifetime alignments and my experience is not representative of all their locations, but do yourself a favor and save yourself an hour and your sanity by going to literally any other shop for your alignment. I got rear brake pads on my Lexus IS250 replaced here thinking that is a simple service. A few weeks later, after driving the car most of the way across the country, I heard a scratching noise. New mechanic said most of the brake hardware had fallen out, which speaks to the pads being improperly installed at Firestone. Another $105 and 3 hours of my time. Oh well. I got in the car to run a quick errand, noticed my back tire on the drivers side had low tire pressure (what's new). My car has run flats.. so I called a few places and was fascinated with the different prices I received for the same tire! Luckyfor me I spoke to Alex at Firestone on La Cienega Blvd. He's checking it because it may be as simple as patching it up.. $30, or filing it with air (what a concept!) and that's a free service!! Unlike the other two spots I was just at... "Just Tires on Beverly Blvd. quoted me $450 and told me I'd have to drive to Glendale"... didn't even check the actual tire!! So, I'd recommend to call and check the place you're bringing your car into just to check your tire pressure when it's low. If you come here.. ask for Alex, who quoted me $350 for the same run flat tire!! A $100 difference and much kinder servicemen are here! Which is what I am currently paying! We took our car there because we knew the starter had gone bad. We had two individual experts Tell us that the starter was bad. We took it to fire stone and left the dropbox key overnight. We were under the impression they would call us in the morning considering they had our info in order to get some information. We were called and told that nothing was wrong with the vehicle. I informed them that the starter was bad, and that a code wouldn't trigger because the engine couldn't start. They proceeded to tell my fiancé that again there was nothing wrong, and then they told her that the key needed to be reprogrammed. When I called, the technician actually agreed with me that it could be the starter as he could see that I try tapping on it.(those of you who know about cars know that this can sometimes kick the solenoid back into place). He then agreed with me. then all of a sudden a woman picked up the phone, and proceeded to tell me that because I did not agree with our technician that we would be responsible for continuing to pay if it wasn't the starter. I was not happy because I told her that your technician just agreed with me and then she corrected me and told me that he hadn't. Then she started accusing me of calling her technicians, wrong, which while I didn't call him wrong, he was. Then she started accusing me of raising my voice, and while angry, I never raised my voice. We ended up having it towed to a garage that works on our brand of car, where they determined that it was, in fact, the starter, and when they replaced it the car started perfectly. The technicians are not all certified at this place and the woman who works there is a complete joke. Avoid your troubles and go somewhere else. It's unfortunate because I know some fire stones have great reputations, however, this is not one of them. read more

Coming here was a total waste of time. Had a 12pm appt for a tire patch, was told it would be 1 hour. I waited to be checked in for 30 minutes. At 1:50pm I asked for a status update on my car, never heard back. At 2:20pm I asked again, was told mechanics had to have a lunch break and they'd work on it next. At 2:50pm, I called a mom and pop shop up the road and they said to bring it in. I got my car from them saying I've been here 3 hours and my car wasn't even checked out. I really was hopeful for this shop. Im currently at another Firestone shop near my parents, for holiday vacation, because my car is leaking again. This is just 2 days after these guys, specifically Manolo mechanic, "fixed" the brake line leak. This first leak happened a week after they installed a new suspension system on my car. To top it off, the firestone where im at now said that I was overcharged for my suspension work. These guys at La Cienega do give good customer serving but I'm at a loss why I'm not receiving the same service that other people have raved. read more

This place is trash. Took my car for oil change and brake fluid change and for them to check on a clacking noise my car was making. It took them 3 hours to finish the job and I had a 8am appointment and it still took them 3 hours for a simple job. Twice they told me they couldn't figure out where the clacking noise was coming from. How the hell are you a "certified technician" and not know where the noise is coming from. Pros: good prices, good work Cons: slow service, takes longer than they say, they are bad about providing updates and calling you back When they finish the work, they often leave vehicles unattended and unlocked which I dislike. Avoid at all costs. I had a coupon from Bridgestone for tires at the store cost + a 10% markup, which is significantly cheaper than the normal price. This store refused to honor the coupon, quoting me a price that was higher than even the dealership was charging. They were also very rude when I tried to explain that they weren't applying the coupon correctly, accusing me of misunderstanding the discount (which I wasn't). I left and took the coupon to a different Firestone location nearby, which accepted it without any issues and sold me tires at half the price this store was trying to charge. read more

Went to get my 4 tires replaced with the tire sensors didn't do a good job I had to go back because one of the tires was losing air also paid to get my 4 wheels balance got charged for that and they didn't balanced any of them. I came to this Firestone on three deprecate occasions over one year for the same issue. I kept having issues with the wheel shaking while breaking at high speeds (60+ mph). Ended up having the issue resolved by another independent dealer but I waited a couple of months to write this review to ensure my car or I wasn't the issue. Giving a low review because I had to spend so much of my time at this Firestone over the course of a year for the same issue. First time I had breaks swapped out. Second time they machined the rotors and do a wheel alignment. Third/final time the store manager Alexis basically said it was either faulty parts or my driving was the issue. Basically, the store manager gave me a typical manager redline of 'this is the last time I will fix your issue' when in fact, this Firestone never fixed the problem to begin with. Leaving two stars instead of one because I was able to get a refund on the brakes which were the root cause of the issue. This Firestone used cheap non OEM brakes which the independent repair shop was able to identify in a 30 minute inspection. I'm a pretty forgiving person but I most likely will not use this Firestone for any services based on my interaction with the store manager the last time. read more

This place is conveniently located near the 10 FWY. My auto was due for an oil change. First, I called he employee who answered the phone; he was very nice and he asked me to bring it in. I asked him if there were available times I can have. He said to bring it over ASAP. In 20 minutes, I arrived and dropped off my car. For a hot summer day, this place was perfect to sit in the cool waiting room and relax. I brought my portable charge, but I didn't use it because this place conveniently has a charging station with cords. There is a drip coffee maker & a water cooler. I came here because I got my breaks done in June and for the past month and half my breaks have been squeaking... how is this even possible? I just dropped damn near 500 on these damn things, they better not be squeaking after not even having them for a damn year. So, I get here and tell Miguel the issue and he tells me they are going to check them out and try to figure out what's wrong with them. Ok that's great! After, I ask him "this will be free, correct?" He then rudely responds, "I didn't give you an amount did I?" So then I said "I'm just asking to make sure!" And then he responds with "I didn't give you an amount, so you're good!" What kind of freaking customer service is this?!? What kind of adult in a professional establishment even answers a PAYING customer like that?!?! No where near funny at all!!! Like who says that??? Took my car in to fix a flat tire and since it's Sunday all the tire places in LA are closed. Took 3 hours for them to say that the tire is unrepairable and I need to buy a new tire. I went in with 3 perfectly good tires and now another tire is loosing air way too quickly for there to be a nail in it. I can hear the air leaving the tire as if it was cut into or something. If my tire was loosing air that quickly it wouldve been flat getting to the store. I left with the tire that was flat and now one of my good tires going flat. Basically wasted my time trying to get my one tire fixed and now have to get a whole new tire fixed. read more

So I've come to Firestone 3 times for oil changes. The first time was fine and was done within an hour with an appointment. The second time I also had an appointment, but it took 3 hours for some reason. I just done with my third and final time there due to the fact that they told me it would take an hour and half even with an appointment. I was fine with that, but then an hour and half turned into 3 hours. I thought it was almost done because the last time also took 3 hours. Then before I know it I was in there for 5 hours. Not sure what happened, but when I peaked my head out the door I saw my car was finished about an hour before they called my name. I figured they had some paperwork or something to do, but maybe they just forgot or they were just being lazy. Who knows?? But I don't recommend this location to anyone and also the the parking here is trash lol. read more
