I was driving on I-25 today and my serpentine belt happened to snap right off. I called Firestone at about 3:30 and asked them if it would be possible to fix it this evening if I got it in before they closed at 5. Long story short, the tow truck ended up taking an hour and half longer than they quoted me on the phone, so I didn't get to Firestone until about 5:30. They immediately got to work on my car, ran diagnostics and replaced the broken belt and I was back on the road by about 6. I don't know that I can say enough good about Gary and the people who work here. read more

I was shopping around for new tires for my car and they were having a sale on exactly what I needed. I requested the tires and made an appointment online. When they called about 30 minutes later to confirm the appointment they said that the tires that I picked weren't that great for winter driving and I purchased them in November. They had some other tires, normally another $90 more than the tires I picked, on sale for only $10 more a tire. They were rated better and had a better warranty. I appreciated their honesty on the tire quality. When I got to the shop they showed me the difference between the two tires when I asked, simply because I was curious. And they didn't lead me wrong and try to make a buck. They truly recommended a better tire. I happened to be 30 minutes early for my appointment due to an error in the computer. They worked me in and were fantastic to me. In an hour and a half I had new tires, an alignment and oil change completed. I also had applied for their credit card and the guy I worked with was honest about the credit card policy of paying it off in 6 months or the interest was retro-active. Long story short - honest and courteous. Will definitely go back! read more

Repulsive service, horrible customer service, dishonest, and untrustworthy! I went in 6 months ago with a screw in my tire and asked for it to be repaired since I have roadside hazard, I was told no because they were too busy. Ok, asked if I could leave it for it to be done at the end of the shift and still told no. I went down the street the discount tires who repaired it for FREE. What's the point of me paying for this if it's not going to be honored?! Not only that I was told by Steve Schafer that somewhere in the fine print it says they can deny me service and this doesn't actually need to be honored. I just had my oil changed two days ago and was told my tires were in such poor shape and my alignment was too that my tires couldn't be rotated. I have less than 24,000 miles on them and then they tried to sell me new tires. I had my tires and alignment looked at by another mechanic and nothing what was shared in my appointment was what was concluded. So I feel they lied to me, I feel they were trying to take advantage of me, and I feel that based upon the guy, Steve that was working the front that I was huge inconvenience to him. I have spent several thousand dollars here, usually spending $700-800 for new tires when time, oil changes, roadside hazard, alignments, getting coils replaced and worked on. I have gone here for years with no issue, but over the last year and half to two years the business and management has gotten worse. I will NOT be returning! Loveland Firestone sadly, is poorly managed and your company is only as good as your weakest link, and they obviously have many weak links. read more

WORST PLACE TO TAKE YOUR CAR. AVOID AT ALL COST. I will never spend another cent in any Firestone nation wide along with my family and friends. Nick and Rich and Dennis will tell you anything to make you smile and get off the phone when you call with a complaint. I took my 08 Jeep Grand Cherokee in for an oil change and was called saying "Your water pump needs to be replaced. It's $400 all together" After having previous issues with this exact same location; (parts never ordered for an appointment made a week in advance, left my car unlocked all night in the lot, etc.) I was definitely quite hesitant to have them do any further work. But my wife and I have our first baby due on August 29th and I couldn't risk waiting. They did the work and I took the car home. I called the store and spoke with Nick the day after I picked my Jeep up from the water pump replacement saying that I was getting an error "Transmission Over Temperature" and my temp gauge would slowly climb to the red in idle. Obviously something to be very concerned about. It was also extremely odd that my windshield wiper sprayers were not working the next day, I'm anal about a clean windshield and use them daily, they were definitely working the day I brought it in. I asked Nick about both of these issues, he responded, and I quote "Neither of those things would have anything to do with the water pump replacement. Our techs wouldn't of gone anywhere near the washer fluid line under the hood, you can definitely bring it in and I can take care of that for you for $15 or $20, but that wouldn't of been from us" Frustrated, I said okay, hung up and started calling other mechanics. My new forever mechanic is Phil's Pro Auto in Greeley, absolutely worth the drive out in my opinion, Jon has been amazingly helpful. I got the diagnosis back from Jon and a FAULTY WATER PUMP had been causing my coolant to leak out, leading to everything overheating, and other things like the thermostat permanently damaged. I now have $1000 in repairs being done to my car because "The Water pump didn't have anything to do with it" I am forever infuriated with this disgraceful business, and would highly encourage ANYONE to take your car ANYWHERE else unless you like wasting time and money. Got a Yelp account specifically to post this. NEVER GO TO FIRESTONE. Edit 1 - 12pm 8/18 Hilariously, the social media team at Firestone contacted me (as you can see) 10 minutes after I posted this. I responded to their email within the hour, I have yet to hear anything back and am now calling the corporate office to try and find answers. It's obvious they care about 'saving face' on sites like yelp, but still don't actually care about the customer. Edit 2 - got a response 4 minutes after I posted this first edit, are we seeing a pattern here? Edit 3 - Firestone emailed back and said they submitted a claim, I should expect to hear something in 3-7 business days.... apparently they weren't listening. In the mean time a manager from Loveland called me (I was supposed to get a call when he got in this morning, according to Nick last night), Rich, to say "All we are responsible for is the $400 refund, if you're saying it did more damage than that you'll have to deal with the claims department." Final Edit 8/24 - After a few days of back and forth from Phil's Pro Auto and Firestone Corporate, sending a independent investigator out to assess the vehicle, etc etc etc. I have to say, I have been properly taken care of by Firestone. Jim from Firestone corporate was really helpful and understanding of the situation. They ended up covering about $850 of my $1400 bill, and that other $550 or so was almost entirely maintenance. I really appreciate the company making good on a bad customer experience. Jon with Phil's Pro Auto really advocated for me and helped me get cooperation from Firestone for which I am eternally grateful. I will definitely never be returning to THIS Sculptor drive location, as I still have a large amount of disgust for Nick, Rich, and Dennis - the leadership of that Firestone location. However Firestone as a company has done the right thing in taking care of their customer, and for that I am thankful. read more

I came in here to get some new tires for my car. I called around first to get the best price and got quoted the best price for the specific tires I was looking for here. After I got done and got the bill it was $30 more than they quoted me on the phone. I was not too happy. After I asked about it the employee got very pissy with me and told me that I was already getting a good deal and I shouldn't be complaining. I did end up finding the guy who quoted me over the phone later because I remembered his name and he was able to get the price down to $5 more than the phone price and was very nice about it. So in the end it was taken care of. During the service they told me that the car had a loose tie rod end that needed replaced. I asked how much and the mechanic who came out to tell me about it told me it was $180. I declined. Once they rang up my bill they gave me a quote for the tie rod end replacement and it was $280!! It seems that in both instances with the tires and the tie rod end they don't know what their own prices are, or they quote you low and hope you pay the amount that actually comes up when they ring up your bill. I don't think I will be going back here just because I can't trust the prices that they quote for anything, and if I do I will make sure the deal is in writing first. read more

Had my car towed there for a diagnosis, since they were one of the only places open on Saturday. I should have just waited until Monday! Not only did they not diagnose an obvious issue that a friend was able to diagnose in 5 minutes, they still charged me for diagnostics despite not finding *anything.* Furthermore, when asking for any explanation of what they had done or not done, they were extremely rude, especially the General Manager. If I ever have problems with my car on the weekend again, I will wait until a reputable shop opens up, rather than trust a bunch of tire jockeys with an engine problem. read more

Brought in my vehicle for A/C work and was called 3 hours later and told my vehicle had to go to the dealer to be done. This is just stupid the vehicle is 12 years old and Firestone hires ASE certified mechanics. If you are bringing you vehicle to this store just remember this is a glorified tire store like discount tire. If you need a shop try metric motors or anyone else before you go here. The machanics here are not good and would not trust my investment with this group. read more

Been in multiple times in the last few months. Some how I keep managing to run over things and puncture my tires. The people at Firestone always get me in and out as quickly as possible and usually have affordable tires that fit my vehicle in stock. Firestone is great, if you like gambling. I have taken my Chevy Tahoe to them several times over the last few months and have left with a bitter taste in my mouth more often than not. The first time I went to Firestone was just to get some brake pads replaced, I was very pleased with the service, it only took 30 minutes, they took me out onto the floor to show me what all was wrong with the car, and it ended up being relatively inexpensive. The second time I took my Tahoe to them was for the infamous ghost squeak... They replaced a bearing and a couple of pulleys (one of which was the idler pulley)! and I was on my merry way. A month later that same squeak was back. I took it back to them and paid $99 to have a full diagnostic check done (thinking that if there were more squeaks about to appear, then they would find it). They told me that the second squeak was another pulley, I had the pulley done on a Monday morning, Tuesday night THE SAME SQUEAK IS BACK! I take the car back to them and with a lot of bad noise they agree to look at it for free. This time they tell me it is the idler pulley and serpentine belt. I pay 400 to have them replaced, and am was again on my (infuriated) way. A week later the squeak takes up residence in my Tahoe again. At this point I am about to call my lawyer (figuratively speaking, but yes I was that frustrated). Planning on calling their corporate head quarters I went through my receipts before going in to have them look at my car again. I found on the receipts that I had paid for them to replace the same pulley TWICE (a $90 pulley none-the-less). They take a look at the Tahoe and find that squeak is being caused by the serpentine belt (wait, didn't we just replace that?), the tensioner pulley arm, and a bearing inside the alternator. They attempted to charge me twice for the serpentine belt. After seeing this I pitched a fit about that and them replacing the same pulley twice. After a lot more bad noise they warrantied the belt, refunded the pulley cost, and replaced the tensioner arm for free (I complained that they should have seen it was about to go bad when they did the diagnostic check). A couple of months later the fuel pump on my Tahoe breaks, Against my better judgement I had to have it towed to Firestone (insurance would only cover the tow to the closest auto-shop). They quoted me 800 dollars to get it all done, 400 for just the pump (which I found online for 200 for the OEM part). That was the straw that broke the camels back, and thus I will never go to Firestone again. All that complaining aside, I do still have a few good things to say. The employees at Firestone were very professional, understanding, and generally easy to work with. I was continually impressed with how quickly they were able to do the job each time. Not only are they open on weekends (which Not a lot of auto-shops are) but they keep enough service technicians on staff so that you don't have to wait for hours on end just to have something simple fixed. In addition, the atmosphere of the waiting room is very nice, I enjoy being able to sit in a comfortable leather chair, watch the LCD TV, and enjoy the complimentary coffee, I mean it sure beats the hard plastic chairs and outdated Reader's Digest magazines that you'll find standard at almost any other Auto-Shop. If your car broke down on a Saturday night and you absolutely had to have it working again by Sunday afternoon, then I would suggest going to Firestone. So in conclusion, Firestone is a great auto-shop, if you're the type of person who takes thousands of dollars to Las Vegas (planning to lose it all on gambling) and is only there for the free drinks. read more

I brought my 2008 Dodge 2500 in for A/C work over the weekend. After the truck was there over 6 hours I got a call saying it was either the compressor or the orifice tube but the truck needed to go to the Dealership. I asked the service writer how confident the tech was and he said that's all it could be. I told the service writer I will replace and bring back the next day. I spent $279.56 for both items it took 1.5 hours to do. Brought it in at 8:00am the next day and 5 hours later was called and told not working. I am a certified heavy equipment mechanic and wanted to spend time with my family. So I went and got the truck put it on a scanner at home it showed DTC code of PO533 which is a high pressure sensor for the fan on the condenser check the fan it was not working replaced the sensor and fan 1.0 hours recharge the system and wouldn't you know cold air. It's sad that they did not pull the code and even try to fix the problem. Not done yet the system went in with 1 lbs 11 oz of refrigerants do 8 oz of pag oil which they kept and I refilled. They got me good I spent a lot of money and time trying to save time. This is not a full auto care facility. Their techs need more training and time in school. read more

When I walked in, the nice gentleman named Dennis, helped me tremendously. He recommend things I actually needed and the pricing was much better than the dealership, the repairs were done in a timely manor, and I would highly recommend eveyone to come here, I am a customer for life! read more

I run a business and I needed a flat repair at 6:50 pm I needed it done that night guy at the counter made up a story that the tire machine that dose dual tires was down not knowing I used to work at a tire shop there is no special tire machine for duals. The guy just didn't want to do it so close to close. I also had a tire in there earlier the same day for a flat repair and they did not check the tire when finished. It had 2 nails in it not just one. Firestone has now lost what could of been a monster customer we go through tires every week on our trailers and I thought they were the answer. I am a certified mechanic with a bachelor's degree in automotive service marketing and management. Got tires installed on my trick as I do not own a tire balancer. Less than 25 miles after my tire pressure monitor light comes on with a message service tire pressure monitors. I returned my truck to them. After 15 minutes of trying to relearn my sensors to the truck and scratching their heads they come in and tell me my module has failed. I protest and get the same line from the manager. He also tells me to take it to the dealer and if all it needs is flashed they might stand behind it. This is my work truck and I do not have the time to deal with ignorant people. I ordered new tire pressure sensor and installed. Magically my module is fixed. (Note the sarcasm) They didn't even break down the tire to inspect the sensor which is easy to damage during removal of the old tires. They just kept insisting it was coincedence that my module would fail that soon after they installed new tires and serviced the sensors. Don't trust them to service your vehicle you will pay for it in the end. read more
