We've been going here for years, but not happy with how long service takes lately. Brought my ford focus in tuesday morning for an oil change. The women said it would be done THAT day, which is what we would expect. At the end of the day, we get the call saying it would be ready the next day (wednesday) instead and they'd call us. Wednesday around 330, we finally called them and they say they're closing early, didn't get to our car, tomorrow (thursday) they are closed for thanksgiving and so they'd get to it Friday. The team here are ROCK STARS!!! I only happened to be in the area on business and my car starting making the most horrific sound. I was so worried being so far from home, and my car being the only option to get me back. I found this Firestone and brought it right over. they immediately took a look at my car and upon putting it on a lift they saw the problem. I had lost a bolt...lol! Very rude individuals. Came in following an accident where my side skirt was hanging off the car, all I needed was for it to get drilled in. Fairly simple job, these individuals did not think so. I asked an employee and explained my situation and he said, "let me ask the manager". The manager came in, gave me a look, and rudely responded when I asked for help by saying, "we don't do body work bro". He kept repeating himself more trying to get me to leave the shop after that. For having a title that says "complete auto care" in it, they most certainly will not follow that title. They all looked exhausted and were giving off a lazy vibe, no wonder why the shop was empty. Don't go here, I went down to a caliber collision down the street and they gladly helped me out with no charge. That's quality, and great customer service. For a simple drilling in, I expected more out of Firestone. Always knew they were sketch, but this was much more shocking. read more

Sure they tend to take a longer than you'd expect but I've never seen this place with an empty lot. They always seem to have 5-10 cars lined up to be worked on, so of course it'd take longer. I highly recommend this Firestone location. I called them today, a busy Saturday morning for them and despite having a store full of customers and a heavy schedule, they were willing to take me in. When I arrived, they assisted me promptly, efficiently and gave me an honest price for their service. Frank and Vivian did an outstanding job. I also inquired about whether I needed brakes or new tires. To my surprise, even though they could have made another easy $900 to $1,000 they told me I didn't need either yet. Very rude customer service. First off they patched a tire that was slowly leaking and put in a new stem that was too short to access the valve. I took back the car the next day and the guy tried to talk me out of having them replace it. Then simply said "keys", leaving me to figure out that I should go inside and wait. I went in and had to wait about 30 minutes, I stood by the register to see if he was going to say anything more to me then after he ignored me (called another customer by name) I sat down. Eventually he came over to me and said "HERE" and gave me my keys back. Those are the only two words he said after I told him my tire needed to be fixed from the work they had done. IN ADDITION, I had been hearing a noise in my car when I was taking sharp right turns down hills. They charged me $20 and told me that I needed over 700 dollars in repairs to which I said no. I took it to a local shop and they told me that I was LIED to. They told me they had tightened my wheel bearings (which is impossible I learned), and that they were soon going to freeze up. I took the car to another shop and they told me (for free) that everything was in great condition. DO NOT GET SERVICE ON YOUR CAR HERE. I am never coming back to this Firestone. read more

I can always count on Tim and the crew to give me an honest diagnosis, and they're very good at advising me on what is necessary and what can wait. Came here today for a front brake pads change and service with a coupon. Came in at 1.20 pm and paper showed scheduled finishing time 4pm. By 3.10 pm, I was told they need another 45 mins to finish the job, ended up with 1 hour and 45 mins. 3.5 hours for brake inspection and service. Staff were not apologetic. I bought hard to find tires from Tire Rack for my Miata. The tires were sent here to Firestone for installation. The front office attendants were rude. I had to come back twice. When I showed up for my first appointment, I was told that here were not enough technicians to get to me that day. The second time I showed up, the installation took 3 hours. One of the tires was defective - which was not noticed when Firestone did their test drive - and I am now in a Tire Rack fiasco trying to get it replaced while simultaneously trying to avoid ever having to deal with Firestone again. read more

From 2005-2011, I took my vehicles to this location religiously for any tire or alignment needs. I stood behind the staff at this facility and knew that any issue I took to them was taken care of with integrity and great service. I've taken an array of my families vehicles to this location... including Honda, Chevrolet, Volkswagen and now, Mercedes-Benz. I returned to the location about a week ago to have the tires rotated and balanced in my C250 Sport. As before, the service was done quickly, correctly and without much of a problem. I'm not quite sure about their protocol for staggered tire rotations, however since i'm not an expert, i'll take their word about the recommendation they made for my car. Any time a recommendation for additional services is made, it's just that... a recommendation, I usually decline and they're fine with that and send me on my way, I've never felt pressured to add something on or change/replace something I didn't want to. On occasions, they offer coupons through their corporate website which can save about $20-50 depending on what you're getting done. I stopped taking my cars here for a while because the competition (namely Discount Tires) is a little quicker and always consistently friendly. The service at Firestone has improved since i've returned, but I think Discount Tire's pressure on their staff to always be customer first makes them a standout in the industry. I went from fiercely loyal Firestone customer to seeking out the best service and value... i'm no longer loyal to a brand or store. With that said, parking isn't great at the location... beware of that ferocious tree in the front and the monster poops from the birds in it. The waiting area is functional and there's wifi available along with some local shops you can go to while your car is being worked on. If your RTA/public transportation savvy, you can drop your car and then hop on the bus thanks to the bus stop right under the ferocious tree (again, beware of the birds.) read more

Firestone is a very convenient place to take your car because they are almost always open and have availability. I am retired and on a fixed income and they have done some work for me for cheap or free when it was something small. They fill up my daughter's stroller tires anytime she needs it and they are always friendly. read more

Bought tires for my car here 6months ago where they conveniently overlooked the small cracks in my rims when I'm paying over $500 for two tires with the road hazzard warranty. Take my car in today for warranty flat repairs and now they refuse to repair the tires that are covered under the warranty because my rims are cracked. Tim was such a great help! He gave me a print out of 9 different tires I could put on my camry. I told him my situation that I need new tires but I'm not trying to keep my car for much longer. He completely understood and agreed that one of the cheaper tires would be my best option. I also needed an alignment and instead of trying to sell me a lifetime alignment package he recommended I purchase the 1 year alignment since I'm not going to keep my car for much longer. They cleaned their hands & took my hard earned money to have such shit service! The first time I came here, I drove my car in because it wasn't starting correctly. The guy said he "checked" everything and it was perfectly fine. Within 20 mins of me leaving. My car wouldn't start and I had to get it towed back to them. They then said that it was my fuel pump and I left it with them for 2 days while they fixed it. 12 hours later my check engine light came on and I called and ask if it was normal. The guy said no and told me to bring it in at 8:30 the next morning. WELL I couldn't even get it in to the facility because my car won't start at all. The technician there wasn't very pleasant and acted as if it was too much to check for other problems when I originally talked to him the first time I went in. The fact that this is my third time and each time my car still won't work makes me concerned with what type of people they have working for them.I'm out $600 and now I don't even have funds to take it to another place. Took our car here to have it serivced,and a front end alignment done. The manager was very friendly,but the workers barely spoke english and seemed inept at their jobs. This place has no customer service at all whatsoever I stood in line for 45 minutes while they overcharged a lady for a tire replacement that was a warranty Tire were they overcharged in elderly Hispanic man to flush out his radiator and change his oil not only did I witness all of this first-hand but after being there for 45 minutes I was told that I was not able to get my Uber inspection done because I made the appointment through the Uber site and had a confirmation number from Uber not from them not only did they want to charge me and upwards of $20 they charged me a dollar to have the Uber Forum because they didn't tell anybody to bring the Uber Forum with them this place is completely overrated and they have no customer service and they're all about just getting what they can get from people read more

Very displeased and disappointed upon my first experience with Firestone. I initially brought my car in for an oil change, and was told my oil pan had a leak from a previous JB welded crack on the pan. (I was aware of this repaired crack and knew it wasn't the brightest way of repairing it, but the previous owner of my car made that decision for himself). They quoted me $1,200 on the service for replacing the pan, and I gratefully declined. I asked why the price was so high, and was informed that it would be a "minimum 6 hour job" with the new oil pan being pricey as well. Come to find out after lifting my car at my house, there was not a leak in any place on the pan. But the pan did look like it could go for a replacement, so I decided to call a local auto parts store and order it myself. After telling the salesman over the phone at the auto parts store my year make and model of the car, he got confused and asked me if I was Frank. (Frank was actually the front salesman over at Firestone, he was going to order the exact same oil pan and install it back at the shop). I told the guy my name wasn't Frank, but was curious on the price of the oil pan. His response was $315. Needless to say, they were wanting to charge me close to $900 in labor for the "6 hour job." Extremely slow. No sense of hustle or urgency. Everyone seems like its their first day working there. Said they would inspect my car by 2pm and call me. I ended up calling them at 330 cause they still had not called me. And they said they still haven't pulled it out of the parking lot. By 4pm they finally looked at it and told me my rotors were bad, when they were completely fine and wanted to charge me over double what I ended up paying when I got it out of there and took it to a more reliable place. This Firestone is the best one I've been to and I've been to several! The staff is really nice and they take care of you and your vehicle. Never had an issue here unlike other firestones. Sometimes it gets busy due to them being downtown but it's always good to call ahead and they're nice enough to tell you if they can or cannot. I have lifetime alignments here and they take care of it every single time! I always ask about other services and they get you the best deals! Techs are really nice and tell you about what they performed on your vehicle. Five stars on their customer service and everything :) read more

If you are looking to save time I recommend that you request that they skip the courtesy check especially if you are not looking to do anything else to your car but what you initially requested. I had an oil change and alignment done a few days ago and the guys there do an excellent job. I booked an appointment and it only took them a hour to have my car ready. I couldn't be happier. But like I said if you are in a hurry make sure you ask them not to do a courtesy check. I and if you don't like waiting they also give you the option to drop off your car, for that's exactly what I did I dropped off my car and picked it up an hour later. read more

If it was possible I would give this store NO STARS!! This is the worst Firestone I have been too and as ruin me to all Firestones. DON'T GO HERE!!! Tim is the worst manager with no customer service skills and Vivian lacks any knowledge and it ignore. I live in Valencia and my car got stuck in Riverside. I called a dealer in Northridge and asked for a quote on my tires since they were discontinued Diane offered me the price it posted on the website but the new tire version. So I asked her if all Firestones price matched she said yes. So I called Riverside and spoke with Vivian and told her I called a store by my house but my car is in Riverside. The tires were discontinued but do to the inconvinced Diana at Northridge ofter to give me the new version at the discontinued price. Can you do the same and she said YES. So I drove from Valencia to Riverside on Saturday to get the tires. When I got there Vivian started acting stupid and told me that she couldnt sell me the new version at the discontinued price because it was too much off. Keep in mind she disqusted all this on the phone with me before hand and even typed it on my invoice. Then Tim the most rudest manager stepped in and said we can't do that. He was like did you fully explain the situation to Vivian I said yes and even showed him the screenshot of the ad and he said but those are discontinued, I said I know and Vivian offered to give me the new version at the discounted price thats why I came here. He said no she didnt and she said Yes boss I told her I would. And he said no you didnt after his employee said I did boss. He said well Im not and you either take this tires or I dont know what to do. Seeing I had to pick up my truck I had no choice. I asked him if they price match other stores and he said yes but Im not calling no other store for you. I called Diane in Northridge and she said I could give u the price but come here. All over rude service and I demand a credit on my Firestone charge for the price I was quoted by two works not that I had to pay and was stuck. I even have the invoice showing Vivian offered to sell them at discounted price but refused to. Little do these people know I have worked at a tire store and no the deal. Tim is a very rude ignorant inconsiderate manager and needs to be retrained and severely reprimanded. After this I will be cancelling my FIRESTONE charge card and never purchase anything from them again and advising everyone else do to the same. Robert Torres runs a great store! I've been taking my 2000 Toyota Camry there for about seven years for oil changes, tuneups, tires, and everything else. I became a "lifetime alignment" member and I always feel they take good care of me. The staff takes time to explain and are cautious in their recommendations. Several times they have devised fixes that saved me from going to the dreaded dealership! I just moved from Riverside to Pasadena and though I've already found my new Firestone, I really miss the guys on Market Street! read more
