They got us in quickly and out in less than 10 minutes for an inspection. There are no more annual inspections come January and they'll start emission testing instead. The situation went as follows : Richard told me I would "need oil housing changed due to it leaking; as it was the last time kinda leaking ; we have photos " stating my plug was stripped, then I said "that's weird because I had taken it to the dealership and never had this issue up til this point in owning my car" Forward onto our conversation where he then said "what are you trying to say" I said I'm trying to say it wasn't this way before coming to your firestone. So then I ask when is my car going to be done he said 20 mins.. I then go an hour later and my car is still IN THE AIR!! They then said oh did u want to look at it it's why we left it up. like excuse me ? No I wanted to come pick it up regardless of what they were saying which felt like a more backhanded action. So then I take it to my dealership the next day where they send me a video and info SHOWING NOTHING IS OR WAS WRONG WITH IT! That it was not tightened enough.. after it had leaked all over my driveway the night between me picking it up from Firestone and then taking it to dealership the next day.. so they replaced the plug and gasket because I asked them to just to be safe. But had to pay for another oil change to have this whole process checked and done due to Firestone employees incompetence. Never ever trust or go here if you can avoid it. read more

This Firestone has been a disappoint for most a decade but location is convenient. I stopped using them for 3 years or so but gave them another chance for a belt problem and squeaking. They did great with new management from the Firestone on Randolph AFB. Until now. Took my 2008 Yaris in for belt inspection for squeaking (2 years since last belt) and they replaced it and seems okay now. Also got recommendations for 2 tires, AC/Heating, Front and Rear wipers. Quoted a price for 160 dollars for 2 tires, but out of stock, can't be found and wanted 60 dollars more. I found 2 tires for 140 dollars at Discount Tire and went with them. My front wipers had just passed inspection so I opted out but the rear wiper was in need and they replaced it for 32 bucks. Wrong size and hit the top sprayer. I took it back and got a refund and then had it replaced next door at O'Reillys for half the price. They are a sham. read more

I don't understand the point of making an appointment here if the wait is just as long regardless. I had an appointment for 9 am on a Sunday yet I'm told I'd have to wait an hour and a half just to have them check out my brakes. Not to service them, just to look at them. I see it's busy but the 5 other people that walked in without an appointment shouldn't be serviced before my vehicle. The service manager working the counter was friendly but that doesn't make up for the 5 hours I've wasted here SO FAR. It also took FIVE HOURS for them to realize that they don't have the right brake pads in stock. So as I sit here waiting for them to go pick up the right parts from another location, this review goes from two stars down to one. I could've taken my car elsewhere and had this done in half the time. Lesson learned. Never again, Firestone. read more

I was a long time customer of the Firestone on FM78 for many years. It ended quickly when they damaged my car and the manager(Ronnie) had a I don't care attitude about the issue. They put on my belt incorrectly and it put a hole in a place making my car leak oil. When it was brought to my attention by another shop I contacted the manager(Ronnie). I thought that we had a good relationship and he would take care of the problem. He refused to be reasonable. The repair would have cost about $1000 with the part. I tried to reason with him to no avail. I ended the phone call and never took my car to the Firestone on FM78 ever again. It's been years and I still feel bad about how I was treated. They also don't make appointments even if you call to make one. I would never recommend taking your car to the Firestone on FM78 for any reason. read more

Made an appointment showed up 20 minutes early road hazard screw in tire. 25 minutes went by and I asked how long it would be they said more than an hour! Why make an appointment? RICK THE MECHANIC IS MY HERO! The front guy (Cody) was pretty dismissive of my problems and said I needed to go to a dealership. I needed a jump to leave the parking lot and Rick came out to give me a hand. He took one look at my battery and said "pull on up and let me check something". Turns out, it was just a bad battery. If it wasn't for Rick I would have been trying to drive my car to a dealership with a bad battery when it could have easily been fixed there. This place has ridiculous horrible customer service. Dropped my car off at 830 am. For brakes. Was assured it would be ready by noon. I called at 11 for a update to hear oh you need rotators too.
