I don't even want to give it 1 star. I took my car in 9/18/26 for oil change and left with an oil leak. I spent over $900 for tires and wheel alignment. Apparently that wasn't enough, they caused an oil leak to get more money. I will never take my cars there again and I'm closing my Firestone account. I would rather take my car to the dealer, at least they guarantee their work. Don was so nonchalant and dismissive. No wonder why the place was empty. I highly recommend Firestone Complete Auto Care on Highland Avenue in San Bernardino if you're looking to have your luxury Lexus destroyed in a single visit. TLDR: If you want life-endangering service zero accountability and endless runaround this is your spot. Otherwise go somewhere else. I brought my 2007 LS460 in for a simple TPMS reset. The advisor said it was in excellent condition after a full inspection then upsold brake fluid coolant and differential flushes for $683.82 cash. Seven hours later the car was back with oil handprints and smudges all over the pristine beige leather including sun visor sunroof seats console dashboard and door handles. Grease in the trunk a deep gash in my subwoofer box. Manager Rico admitted it was a recurring issue with their techs ignoring protective covers and do not respect the cars. He apologized said it was not like that when I arrived , 10:20AM finally left at 6:25PM! After they were "done" All warning lights popped up. They could not clear them but insisted it was safe to drive just lights flashing. I trusted him after asking 2 more times "are you sure it's safe to drive" he assured me they are just lights indicating a need for clearing them On the way home brakes went soft power faded steering was rough it went into a fail safe mode of some sorts, I nearly hit a mom walking her child no brakes had to swerve and almost rear-ended a parked car loading groceries. Pulled over I restarted the car after taking a several deep breaths Minutes later failsafe hit again no brakes no power. And a Van full of kids ahead I veered toward the curb and the car corrected inches away. Thank God no one was hurt but I'm still shaken. I had it Towed it to Crown Lexus the next day $21 fee . Their estimate $22,194.84 in repairs damaged radiator , over pressure flush caused gasket to warp and leak on engine air trapped in brake lines wrecked suspension oil leaks all from mishandling along with scuffs and scratches on the exterior! Video and photos prove it. Claims advisor Robert silent. With several Missed calls , from me calling them!, they finally cleared a useless Thursday to Sunday rental no extension over 72 hours after I contacted them resulting in me loosing out on work The shift lead Don talked at me condescendingly the hung up. After DAYS of calling Corporate they gave a fake "presidents desk" number. An "Investigator" took pics yesterday and now they are only offering brakes and radiator ignoring interior exterior everything else. There is an active BAR complaint and BBB filed. Once I let Firestone know there was a concern with the oil change that was completed they offered to resolve all issues and concerns. Apparently a gasket was over tightened. They took care of the issue immediately and they provided wonderful customer support and service. Great customer support and services always helpful and positive. read more

I'm an 18 year plus customer of this location, of an on. . I have seen multiple mechanics come and go. For the last year there has been a mechanic by the name of Bryce. This gentleman has shown exemplary customer service. He is just as pleasant on the phone, as he is in person. As a female customer I am especially pleased with the patience he shows when listening to an issue I'm having with my vehicle, and the time he takes to explain the reason for the needed service. Arrived on day and time of installation. I came up when the customer was king. I'm just saying. The agent told us on my 2022 chevy bolt euv the tires are bad but they were good for another few miles like 8000 or 7000. I just wanted my car inspection so I can go to work and they failed me because tire is bad already went to another person so they can look they said its good for less then 10k miles but not really bad still needs to be replaced though. I had to get to work and I couldn't they said i had to pass inspection before i can drive and even go to work. but they wasted my dam time and failed me with discussing it to me the tires instead "You're tires are bad and needs to be replaced. Blah blah this is bad and that replacement on tire we charge 269 for both tires they told me for both tires and they were trying to get me buy new tires. Its soo stupid they wanted me to buy the tires. I got home and I couldn't go to work for 2nd day until tires are replaced and I had to book an appointment again for tires wasting my time. Im deeply saddened for time being wasted and a hassle. Anyways im giving them 1 star and this is my reason. I don't really appreciate there service i even bright business here and they TOOK it like fail him and make him buy. I even drive from San bernardino to redlands for like literally 8.0 miles its like going to target from orange show to Lugonia but a few miles more to where I need to. I took my car to a scheduled appt 10/31/2024. I told the mechanic checking me in that I left the wheel lock in the ash tray in plain view. When I returned 4 hrs later to pick up my car. As I prepared to drive off, I noticed my wheel lock was not there. Brandon looked around in my car, as I had done, not found. He called the mechanic who worked on my car and said It was locked in her/his locker. Brandon stated he would call me the next morning but never did. When I called him the next day, he told me the wheel lock key was left i in the equipment used. He took my address so he could arrange delivery to me. No follow up. I called back. After 3pm today and Brandon told me it could not be delivered. I asked to speak to a manager. Jesus got on the phone and told me he had no one to deliver it as Brandon stated. I told him my car was put in the shop for repairs elsewhere and I needed my lock this evening. He told me he could deliver it to me on his way into work tomorrow Saturday morning and not tonight after work. I again told him I needed my lock and had no car. He stated that's all he could do. I'm inconvenienced for his mechanics carelessness. I would never use Firestone again. Poor customer service! If you can't trust the with a wheel lock, I sure wouldn't trust them bring so careless with repairs. We got a flat tire camping and were able to swap it out for a spare but there were no tire repair shops in our immediate area. We found this place and drove a little more than 20 miles. When we got in everyone was super nice and we made good conversation with the people working there. After about two hours of sitting and waiting, my vehicle had not yet been moved from the place I parked it. No word from any of the employees about delays, or why they hadn't started the work yet. I was near both Costco and Sam's Club so I checked first with their tire shops but they didn't have my car's size. I called San Bernardino Firestone across town and they had my tires in stock and were able to fix my car up with a new set and an all-wheel alignment by 6 pm. But I must say, lately what keeps bringing me back is the incredible customer service I receive from their Tire & Service Advisor, Isaiah. He is always greeting customers with a smile, helpful with getting me appointments via the phone (because 1/2 the time the app doesn't work), explains in detail what's going on with my car, and keeps me posted on the progress of completion. I asked for updates at least twice because I needed to get to work but they didn't give me anything the first time I asked. Not so Happy anymore:( FRAUD ALERT!!!!!!!! This place should be ashamed of themselves!!! We have purchased brand new tires, battery and lifetime alignment for our vehicles. Had some work done by our family mechanic. After getting this work done our mechanic told us to go get the tires aligned again. Since we have lifetime alignment we took it to firestone. We made an appointment and told them just the alignment no need 4 courtesy check. We still had to wait 4ever ever. Then when we decide to come pick it up later instead of waiting. They still took all day and still did the courtesy check. I get a call from one of their techs saying all sorts of stuff was wrong with the vehicle. Saying my battery was old, my turn signal was broken, my axles were getting ready to brake, I was low on all fluids and some other cock and bull! They asked if I wanted them to do the work. It would be 800.00 bucks to get it done. So I said No Thanks I'm good! I get there and I ask the guy to show me my fluids and all the other stuff he said was broken. He goes to my vehicle and says oh I'm really busy. So I say No it's because you guys are making up fraudulent charges hoping people will just go with it. I just checked my fluids there all good and my turn signal works just fine. Also I just bought my battery from you guys a month ago so it can't be old.
