I've been going to the redlands,ca location for 6 - 7 years. This is the first time I have caught the mechanic flat out lying on services needed and services rendered. The manager didn't appear to be in today. Ray who I belive is a bay mechanic normally was manning the desk today. When I came to pick up my SUV after a standard oil change and tire rotation I'm told I need shocks, struts, cabin and air filters. After I called them on it ( family member just changed 3 of the 4 " needed services " less than 3 months ago - definetly not needed ) Ray went to get the story from the mechanic and I was told we'll its based on what u needed last time and the mileage of the vehicle. So basically they didn't check anything and when I got home I realized they DIDNT even rotate the tires! Needless to say they will be paying for my next 60$ oil change and tire rotation and will be marking my tires in the future because you can't trust anyone anymore unfortunatly. The tires finally came in and they were the wrong size?? [[HIGHLIGHT]]So I had to reschedule my appointment for the next morning[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] the next day the guy who was balancing the new tires took my aluminum blue valve stem caps off the old tires and swapped them for some cheap black plastic ones and put them on the new tires when I approached him I asked him where are my shiny blue valve stem caps?? He responded right away with what are you taking about?? I responded back and said the blue caps next to that metal tray that's partially covered by a piece of paper ?? Those ones!! He said oh yeah!! I will put those on the new tires right away?? Then they performed their so called 24 point inspection the next 2 days I took my truck to my personal mechanic to get my oil pan gasket replaced he checked my transmission dipstick and showed me that the dipstick was completely dry!!! HORRIBLE, WILL NOT BE COMING BACK. initially went in for oil change oil leak and come to find out I had a nail in my back right tire. bought the tire and had it serviced with an alignment. was there with an appt at 730, 4 hours later Ray tells me my back left tire had a swollen area and to keep an eye on the bubble. drove all the way back home and called Midas to see if they could put my spare on the left back tire. Confusing phone call and then Jill calls me and says they can put on my spare for the back left tire. I get there and they put the tire on. Ray then asks me if I wanted the rims switched out because my spare was silver and the rest of the rims are all black. I say sure, and he tells me the tire ripped when they went to take off the rim. I had brakes done on my car they said there is a rebate for the brakes. When I first inquired about the rebate they said it's a digital rebate.
