He says they are all very attentive to your needs and helpful. They sure know the definition of customer service. So I listened to him and took my car in for a oil change , brake check up and even got some new tires. As soon as I walked in the sales manager Pablo greeted me and asked me how can he help me with my visit today at Firestone. This was a terrible experience. Just needed to get my tire plugged. After an hour wait I went to check progress. The hood was up on my car and the tech was checking the oil? My tire had not been touched. Another customer came in and they got to work on her car and completely ignored mine. I took my car back and took it to California Tire shop. They found a nail in my tire, which is still repairable. Since the tire is manufactured in Aug. 2013 and installed in April 2014 and now is Aug 2018. I was told Firestone's policy is not to repair tires that is 5 years old. The rep. advised me to replace tires on the spot. When I said and explained that i need to do some research, he suggested that I can just replace the one tire having the nail to save money. Even i know that tires needs to be replace as a set of 2 or 4 given these tires are on the road for over 4 years. The urge to make a sale without thinking the benefit of the customer is shocking! If this place suggest you to replace and purchase item, consult with another shop!! I went to another place and was told the tires still in very good condition and tire was fixed quickly. read more

With 103 degrees, I went to Firestone to have my tire pressure checked on my 2008 Toyota Rav 4. They checked the pressure and said everything was ok. The tires were cool as they were parked under the shade. Out of skepticism, I checked the pressure myself to find out they were over inflated 6 PSI. The tire employees clearly have no idea what they are doing, creating dangerous repairs and checkups. This is beyond dangerous. I do not recommend ANYONE to stop in by and give this place a try unless you want to have a tire blowout. read more

In summer, around July 2020... Josh Ridenour blessed me with his help after hours while I was driving home from mission Viejo. I had to get a spare on by AAA and still had three hours to drive to get home. I pulled up to firestone tire repair and called my mom because they were closed about ready to book a hotel nearby. Josh came out to me and asked if I needed any tire work done and I said, "Yes I do". He then pulled my car in and made sure that I knew everything about what my car may need and within the next 30 minutes my car was good to go with a new tire. He was so nice and I was so lucky that I got my tire fixed that day. Thanks to Josh, I was able to get home in one day instead of two. I gave him a tip... he is a great guy. read more

Battery scam - don't trust them. They told me my battery needed replacing. Showed me the results of the battery test. I responded by letting them know the battery was less than a year old and I need to contact AAA who replaced it recently. The service tech looked surprised. AAA showed up and I saw them test it. Battery was perfect. AAA also pointed out my VIN number was not on the readout from Firestone, which means they probably didn't test my battery. It's sad they would try to do this to people. Just glad I caught it. read more

Decent tires and a clean store. Don't go here unless you bring a portable bed if you are going to wait for your tire service. Average wait time for me has been about four hours with an appointment. Today I'm on my fifth hour and I only came in for an alignment. Drop off in the morning and pick up at night and you will be fine. read more

They told me I had a nail in my tire after the inspection and would need patching. When they went to patch it, they told me it did not puncture, so no charge. They could have told me there were 73 nails in there and all needed patching and I would have been none the wiser. So thanks. Maybe I can get that nail back. read more

The tech person told her the tires were not fixable and she needed to replace 2 (different brand), one at front and one in the back. He told my mom it's ok to have different tires and different level of worn out. Well, that's not what my husband told me. My mom didn't know anything about cars and was prepared to pay for 2 new tires. I told her to go to another place to get second opinion, and guess what? Her tires were fixed for $25. I woke up the Saturday after Thanksgiving and had a flat tire. I'm from San Diego so I asked my stepdad where to go and he suggested I take my car to Firestone in the Oaks Mall so I did. I was told they could probably fix it and they would update me within 1 1/2 hours. I didn't hear anything so I called. They told me they were just bringing in my car to look at it. Needless to say, I waited almost three hours for them to tell me they couldn't fix my tire and I needed all four of my tires replaced. I couldn't believe it, especially since I had recently taken my car in for maintenance and was told I didn't have to replace the tires at this time but I should start thinking about it. I wanted a second opinion so I called America's Tire down the street and headed over. Twenty minutes after arriving, they had fixed my tire (it was a nail, no new tire needed), looked at the tread on all four tires and explained that I would need new tires in about 8,000 miles, then charged me nothing. They were 100% honest and trustworthy and since I know nothing about tires/cars/etc it feels great to know a company isn't trying to take advantage of me like Firestone was. Even if you don't go to America's Tire, I strongly suggest you definitely not go to Firestone. read more

Worst customer service I have encountered in a very long time. From the moment I walked in the door there was nothing but attitude and rude behavior. Don't bother asking questions because you won't get any help at all. If it's not right in front of (did not get the name of the employee) him, there was no way he was going to find another way to get the information. Do yourself a favor if your looking for tires or God forbid have a leak (that could be patched, not a new tire) and drive down the street to America's Tire. I would not go there !!! I am not saying that they did it on purpose but their mistake could have cost me 200 $ I came to simply change a light bulb and an inspection (great price) After one hour they did the inspection and returned the car which I checked for the light bulb... they forgot to change it... embarrassed they tried quickly to replace it (2 minutes job) and told me that it was not working. I was by the mechanic side when he replaced it so I know for a fact that it was not working (maybe they got a wrong / damaged bulb) but that was it. The next step was to order a socket which was the cause. 3 days later brought the car back, the socket is more complicated to change and they need to change the whole system which can only be provided by the make which has of course an expensive price. I ended up with a quote of 200 $ to have my light bulb fixed. Perplex I decided to buy a set of bulbs and try to replace it myself. 10 minutes later (I simply took me to blow hard in the socket) the light was up and running. How 10 minutes of my time saved me 200 $ and how Firestone could have tried a little bit harder than simply conclude a big issue and start planning on replacing everything.. I love the Firestone in Glendale but this one is terrible. I came to get my oil changed drove up to the bay twice and was completely ignored by everyone working there both times. Like people were standing right there and were purposely trying not to look at me. They could've at least come and said we're too busy or something else. Finally parked and went inside had to wait for somebody to come out while there were many employees standing around talking. When I asked if I could get my oil changed, they asked if I could leave my car for several hours or come back tomorrow and get it. I guess I'll never come to this Firestone ever again. 22 years I have been going here. I have spent thousands of dollars on tires and services. I've not always walked away a happy customer but my last encounter was the straw that broke the camel's back. I was denied 2x in a row a same day oil change. With over 3 hours until closing time. Are you kidding me? 3 hours!?!? It's an oil change! It takes 15 minutes! This shop needs a either a new manager or new staff. That is unacceptable. Not to mention, a few years ago I told them not to drive my van into the shop. They attempted anyways and almost ripped the A/C unit right off. Ugh!!! Thank god I was there to scream STOP! All I can say to best describe this shop is LAZY. According to the manager, its a training facility, so be ready for bad service. We took are car in for an oil change, the guy is pushing hard for an alignment. Wow, haven't heard this story 1000 times. Telling me I need one and blah blah. You are going to tell me I need an alignment without putting it up on the rack. Phuc that! How about you say, its been more time then we recommend for an alignment, we could do a free check. Granted, I'd still say no because I knew and the computer would have shown, that I was just in with an alignment under a warranty. How about stop selling and start serving! If you looked you would have seen it...I got it done there! Sent website complaint manager called and offered free oil change. Shit, the hard sell that I didn't need was for $179 but you offer me $21? Forget the money, the principal, no real apology!!! So I sent 2 more emails to Firestone website...no response. 2.5 stars. I decided to go to this Firestone for an oil change today so that I could kill the time at the mall. They did the oil change and tire rotation, but the car was 30 mins late being finished. They told me I had a nail in one of my tires and that it had to be replaced since it couldn't be repaired because the nail was in the side wall of the tire. They also quoted me 600 bucks to replace my shocks (my car has struts but okay). After I left, I took it to California Tire on Newbury rd. They FIXED my tire for free and said struts would be 400-500. The only good thing about Firestone was the girl helping me in the office--I think her name is Gabby. She was very friendly and gave me a coupon for a free oil change since my car was late being finished. read more

I purchased four new tires, lifetime alignment, and balancing, from this company for around $500 which was in my opinion a great deal. I talked with one of the employees there for about an hour about her Ford Thunderbird (same year as mine I think), and the service people were very patient and friendly with me, but when I got my car back home I checked that everything was still in its place, and I found out that they forgot to put the lug wrench back (which is attached to the special key to unlock the lug nuts). I went there the next morning and they told me they couldn't figure out who it belonged to. With the exception of the potentially expensive misplacement of my locking lug nut key, I was satisfied with my experience. read more

Went there to change brake pads. Guess what? After a month of driving my car, I discovered that they forgot to put back my brake fluid reservoir cap. I went back and told the staff, they finally replaced it. It's irresponsible and service is really so so. The reception guy is so serious all the time . My advice: don't go there. I got a flat and limped off the freeway and into the Oaks Mall parking lot, where I noticed the Firestone. I went into the store showroom and waited over 20 minutes to to to someone about the tire I desperately needed. There were at least half a dozen people working, they could all see through the window to the service bay that I was waiting. No one ever even bothered to come and talk to me. I drove on my flat to discount tire. Glad I did. Only at a large franchise store with no on site owner would a customer be treated so poorly. I John bandy finally got an appointment for a quick oil change not needing an all points inspection the next weekend at 1:00 . Showed up at 12:46 , noticed parking lot was full. I felt that I had an appointment I would be taken care some what promptly! NOT THE CASE! After showing up approx 5:10 my car was not even in the garage for a simple oil change ! Granted Sam n Jennifer asked me if I was gonna to wait for my car ? Unfortunately I said no ! I feel if I waited I would have gotten it back in 90 minutes or so . But I fell into the abyss!!!!! After finally getting my car back for a 5 hour oil change I returned home fortunately a1 mile drive ! Cause when I woke up the next morning I decided I'll check the oil level in my car ? I put the car on level ground n the dip stick was totally dry !!! And tried numerous times saying this can't be happening??? They didn't refill the oil in my car or didn't put enough oil back in my car????? It's really sad that their gonna lose a good customer like me cause I bought 8to 10 of my cars repeatedly to them in the past 4 to 5 years! But who I really feel bad for is the young single mother with little babies in their car an on knowingly driving down the road unsafely! This disgust me !!!!!!!! its been less than a month since my girlfriend and I got our oil changes and what a nightmare its been since then. Her Car: We were driving last night and the "Oil Life 15%" life comes on. which we thought was an error. Theres no way oil life can be at 15%, thats absurd. so i pull over and we open to hood and sure enough, the oil was waaay below where it should have been, it was practically empty. it was shocking to see that. I have NEVER seen oil life be that low only after 1,000 miles of driving it. i purchased 1 quart of oil and put it in the engine. it still wasnt full but that was all we had in the trunk. My Car: In the same week of my girlfriends car oil situation, my cars check engine light came on. first think i did was check my oil and to my surprise i had oil, A LOT of oil. the F for full line was covered by an inch. There was waaay more oil in my engine then what should be in there. I go back to get a code scan and they come back with what can be up to 50 different things. they charge $100 and that doesnt even go to the repair of the car. I will never come back here, i will not recommend any firestones to anyone i know. I have written to firestone corporate and hope to hear back from them. read more

This place sucks, on my way to Santa Barbara from LA. I get a flat bring it in they make me wait 1.5 hrs to tell me my tire isn't repairable because they screw was "too close" to the sidewall which was BS!!! 3 hrs later I'm out of there with a new tire and I ended up taking my other tire because i wanted a 2nd opinion. A month later I get another nail on my new tire and then take it to a mom and pop shop in 10 mins both tires are repaired and for $20 total. Boo Firestone for not being honest and just trying to sell sell sell as if people have all this money to be spent on unnecessary repairs. read more

Beware of these shady folks. I came in with an online quote for some tires and was told everything was good. When I looked at the paperwork they had printed out, the tire model was completely wrong. I was told since they didn't have the tire that I was quoted in stock, the manager just decided to put the "next closest tire" without bothering to ask. On top of all that, the clerk tried to pull a fast one by telling me to give my keys to the service technician even after I had told him the tires were wrong! When I called him out on it, he just told me that the tires they chose were of the same performance but it was "my call". Dang straight it was my call! I left promptly to never return. read more

hours are inconsistent, in LA , most of them I've been is open 7 to 7. not this one, closed on sunday with sign display does have hours on sunday. i went in for tire alignment because i have lifetime contract with them, but what it's a sure bad sign when they come back to me telling me about what i need to do with the car which I was well aware of what i have done for my car and trying to 'up sell' the service instead of worry about what they should be doing , align my car . i would rather go to another location next time because this one surely wasn't honest enough and didn't feel i can trust them . read more
