The food and service was great. If you are a pizza lover you will have to try the air dried ham pizza. It is made with an egg in the middle of the pizza. That may sound weird but once you bite into it, the egg will change the flavor of the pizza. It actually compliments very well with the pizza. Service was excellent. The price is very affordable if you are looking to save money during your trip. Paris can get very expensive. read more

I don't understand why this restaurant is rated so highly. The food is decent but nothing to be amazed about. Also, the service here is horrible. You will get your bread at the end of the meal and then be expected to tip. I should not have to ask for it and then have the waiter realize at the end of the meaoh yeah I forgot something. There are several restaurants on the street that you can choose from suggest walking by and see the mood. Don't go by these ratings here including mine. Really not happy with this place. We got three dishes. One mediocre and floppy pizza, one okay pasta Bolognese, and one terrible steak and fries. I really cant say enough about how bad the steak was - tough, not seasoned at all, and way overcooked. Top that off with a snooty server, and it made for our worst meal in Paris. Even if you are desperate for a meal after the Eiffel Tower, still try to avoid this place. read more

Le sigh...one of the many restaurants i miss from my trip to Paris. We had a long day, from Versailles to the Eiffel Tower...we were exhausted and very very hungry! We Yelped and found this GEM! I am an italian food LOVER.....it gives me life to eat it. This was about the closest i was going to get to authentic italian food outside of NYC. The wine was DELISH, the salad was INCREDIBLE and my friend and i had the pesto pasta and the bolognese and ended up devouring it. Seriously, I hope this place never closes because i plan on coming back here when i visit the city of light again. read more

Firmine is a great place for Italian cuisine. Service was nice, and it's hardly a wait at all. Great selection of wines, and it is right near by The Eiffel Tower, so a nice place to cool off after a day at the tower. I will say that the smoking smell is a bit off putting but a good meal experience with the family overall. Definitely would recommend given the kid friendly menu. Bon appetite! read more

This is our first time in Paris and the first restaurant we went to. They were friendly, willingly spoke English, and happily answered silly first-time visitor questions. Food is a little expensive for the portion you get but it is very tasty. The waiter takes your plate and boxes your leftovers if you'd like. 10% tip is customary and, if you pay with card, needs to be told to the waiter before he/she runs the total in the card machine. Smokers may be outside on the patio but the whole establishment is very open, there's hardly a difference, the smoke was not overwhelming outside though. read more

Our waitress was rather cold and seemed preoccupied, that was until the locals came in and she perked right up, the difference was so obvious. I would not recommend this place to anyone. The pizza was very greasy, the mozzarella was a very low grade and the sauce (what little bit was there) tasted like it was from a can. If you want pizza, please go to II sorentino just across the park. Also had the roasted chicken with fried that was very basic, no seasoning at all. I will say the carbonara was decent. The other thing that threw me off was that the staff let a "bum" sit next to us inside the cafe. She was eyeing our food down and it was very awkward. Not very professional at all on their part. My wife and I actually gave a thumbs down to a couple looking in from the street. Thankfully they obliged and kept looking for a new spot. I have no idea how this place has 4 stars. read more

What made our experience even worse was that the staff failed to inform us that the water we ordered was 6 euros. We would have been fine with tap water but no one told us. GROSS, RUDE & OVERPRICED! Save your money!! If I could give this place a minus rating, I would. Too bad help doesn't give that option. All the waiters were we extraordinarily rude and our special guy who waited on us takes the award for significant douchebag. He spoke and looked down at us, was extremely curt with his responses AND when he realizes he forgot the appetizer, he brought out the cold stuck-together ravioli so that he could charge it to our receipt. Wow. It was gross. The chicken was way too salty, and the pasta was overcooked. It was an overpriced meal for bad food and horrendously rude experience. Lastly. The bathrooms are grotesque. If you need to go here, bring some extra toilet paper. Gross. Just absolutely a gross restaurant. read more

A neighborhood Italian place close by the Eiffel Tower. In an area with lots of tourist kitsch, this restaurant was refreshing in its authentic ambiance and reasonable prices. Everything my family ordered was first rate, including the French onion soup, pizza, pasta bolognaise, and rotisserie chicken. Great draft beer on tap as well. Service was a bit slow only because there were not enough waiters; the ones that were there were working hard and we're quite friendly. read more

Asked him what the vegetarian options were and we were directed to read the menu ( which anyone that has been to France would know that you always need the Waiter to explain further) then asked to see a manager and the waited refused, We ended up getting up and leaving as that is not how paying customers should be treated. Literally just finished eating here this evening and the food was amazing. As an Asian American who speaks to no french, it's been quite difficult to find an amazing place to eat. It's totally normal to go to Paris and go to an Italian restaurant right? :) Well we did - and it was a good choice! Located just a block away from the Eiffel Tower, it's the perfect spot for a quick meal. Their menu is simple and super reasonably priced. We settled for a pasta and a pizza with some wine. Great choices for splitting! We sat outside on the patio and enjoyed the buzz of the street near us. Waitstaff was friendly and spoke good English for us. read more

Very nice waiter with good english speaking skills. He was polite and very serviceminded. He asked how hungry we were and recommended the food he thought would suit us. A very good recommendation. We had pasta with pesto and a ruccola salad. The food was OK, but nothing special at all. Good prices, not too expensive even though its close to the Eiffeltower. Toilets are downstairs, very clean but did not have paper towels that I prefer. Not many tourists here, but a lot of french people having lunch with their work colleagues. Some businessmen in suits. No dresscode though. We were here at lunchtime. The only thing I had a problem with here was the loud noises from the cars driving by on the street, and guests at the restaurant sit close to eachother and therefore talk loud. Went here for a cup of coffee and check out the dinner menu. The waitress, an older woman with short dark hair, kept looking at us and walking away. After several minutes she walked to our table and in a rude fashion said "what do you want?" We asked for coffee for now. She looked perturbed and asked "Coffee, is that all?" She then walked away and came back a few minutes later with our coffee. She immediately asked for the payment and then walked away. She never returned to our table to see if we wanted any food, so we drank our coffee and left. I would give this a zero, but yelp doesn't allow it and besides the coffee was good. read more

Solid all-around, except, for some reason, we couldn't get service unless we almost trip our server. It took over twenty minutes to get someone to take our order after they sat us down. Having said that, the food was prepared quickly and it was really tasty. The pizza was artisanal-style, the pasta carbonara was excellent and the kids menus were both very tasty and very large.
