Came here with my daughter & husband to try their matcha. Matcha is sooo good and so creamy. We ordered the first flight matcha -- basically a double matcha drink. Matcha taste is earthy, strong but still kinda sweet. We'll be coming back to try their other drinks. Parking isn't bad, lots of parking when we went and we went on a Sunday late afternoon. Store decor is cute. They have a lot of cute airport/travel displays and decor. Not too many seatings, especially for a bigger group.

Delicious cold brew with vanilla cold foam! It's called First Flight Cold Brew. The cold foam is nice and thick. Not super sweet like Starbucks, it's perfect The Honey Cinnamon Latte is nice, but the First Flight Cold Brew is the way to go. It's located in a nondescript local mini mall with free parking. It's a nice local coffee shop, has some interior seating and friendly employees.

Ha!!! Review # 1234 \(*0*)/ 6/30/26 What a great find! I wanted to try a new cafe in Torrance after fmr mkt shopping and Yelp led me here. Learning they use a La Marzocco gave me hope & I was not disappointed, thankfully. It's located in a small plaza next to a salon, a bank & a T-Mobile, so parking free but may be limited. There are a few indoor (comfortable) & outdoor seating with the airport theme, modern & clean (please see photos). I ordered a honey cinnamon latte with oat milk & it was crafted in a decent wait time. It was perfectly balanced, "cinnamoney" sweet but not cloyingly. Will definitely order this again if in the area. Staff are friendly & welcoming. Wonderful & positive experience here, highly recommend.

I am a sucker for Strawberry Matcha and they make a decent one here. Friendly staff. Service was great. There's this place that I love getting Passion Fruit Matcha Tonic. I'm literally obsessed; it's so good, so when I saw it on their Summer Seasonal Menu, I thought I would order it. I didn't like it as much as I do at the other place. I thought it was flat in more ways than one, but the drink looked really nice. Love the little details in this shop. The theme is really cute!

Delish! I got the Jasmine matcha cloud and the Jasmine milk tea was very floral/strong which I love. Balanced with the thiccc matcha cold foam. A perfect afternoon drink. Staff are very friendly! It can get pretty busy but I feel like the staff have a good system down and I didn't have to wait too long for my drink. Nice and clean ambiance. It's a narrow skinny cafe, but there's some more seating at the very back of the cafe. Great WiFi, only a few WiFi spots. Small-medium parking lot present but I never had an issue getting a spot.

A true hidden gem in the South Bay. First flight coffee is always a delight to get my first drink of the day. The morning staff is always friendly. I akin it to a flight crew and how epic their exceptional service really is. I'm not a big fan of coffee but their matchas and teas make my mornings, and the day is smooth flying. The place is small but quaint don't expect any extra leg room. Whenever I have time to sit down and enjoy my drink I feel like I'm in first class. The ambiance is chill and the music makes me feel like I'm on cloud nine. Whoever is on the aux needs to drop their playlist; always in tune with the type of vibe needed in the morning. If you need a pick me up for your initial air -soaring journey type of day then come to First Flight Coffee.

Super adorable cafe with the sweetest employees. The girl at the front was so helpful helping me and my brother decide what to order. We got the coconut matcha and the passion fruit matcha! Both were delicious, but the coconut one was amazing! Prices aren't crazy and the decor is super cute in there. I got a cute sticker!

Such a cute coffee shop! Parking was good, has good seating for the area and line was small compared to being just down the street from Chrome. Service was great! Everyone was very welcoming and eager to help. Ordered the French Toast Latte with whole milk and WOW, 10/10 I love this coffee. I want to make this my regular go to place asap.

This is a small hidden coffee spot that can be easily missed. Found this place via google- wanted some caffeine for the road and wanted to try a new spot. Had their strawberry matcha at 50% sweetness and had to say it was delicious! Love the quality of the matcha powder they used. It was smooth to drink! Will def come back! Parking lot is compacted though so can be hard when it comes to parking, small space mostly made for to go, but there are limited seating and tables. Cute decor on airport vibes with themes of airplane tickets.

I wanted to check out First Flight Coffee because of the name. I love traveling and coffee. It's the perfect combination. Parking was no problem. I got the best spot right in front. Super cute theme inside. Very creative with the sticker being a flight ticket. Because it was my first time, I had to try one of their most popular drinks - French Toast Latte. It was so creamy and delicious. I definitely want to come back when I'm in the area to try their other drinks.

Originally, I wanted to stop by for a matcha latte but that was until I saw the summer menu! Jasmine and matcha are two of my favorite flavors so I had to order the Jasmine Matcha Cloud. The jasmine was so rich and fragrant and I could really taste the jasmine flavor and the matcha was flavorful as well. It was refreshing and light; honestly perfect for the summer. I loved the theme of the coffee shop. I came in during a rush but the staff was pretty quick! I will definitely be coming back.

This coffee shop is super cute and modern, it's very kitsch with all the airport designed things inside. We were greeted when we came in and they have a loyalty program , which I think is great. I had the first flight matcha and it was excellent perfectly balanced and creamy and the right amount of sweetness. My companions had a Spanish latte and French toast latte and both report them as being excellent Overall vibe is super chill and they had little bursts of long lines while we were there which was good to see. The staff seemed really happy and most of all efficient , can't wait to come back.

Their signature matcha is 2nd to none. The match foam is soooo yummy. I love it. Every time I'm in the area I have to place an order.

I think the tea flavor could have been stronger, but the texture of the boba was good. I did think it was a bit odd that my iced drink was served in a paper cup while my friend got the usual plastic cup. The croissant was delicious. You can tell they put a lot of effort into their food and drinks. As for the ambiance, it's perfect for those who want to hang out and catch up with friends/family or to study. When I visited, there were easily 5 other groups and individuals studying here. I have a big soft spot for banana flavored items. A BIG SOFT SPOT. Banana Cream Pie Latte - this one carries the biggest punch for banana lovers. Banana cream the entire way from start to finish. Not too sweet. Awesome foam top too. I highly recommend drinking these without the straw. Foam top drinks are best appreciated when you get a nice 50:50 ratio of the foam and drink. Banana Matcha Latte - the name speaks for itself. It's a nice mixture of both. So if you're looking to feel a little healthier with the matcha element, then go for it. This was probably the prettiest drink of the 3 that we had. Americano - delicious and got the job done here. I naturally enjoy Ethiopian and Colombian beans. I brew them often at home. I was definitely wide awake after these drinks lol Strawberrynana Waffle - If you LOVE belgian-style waffles like me, then you'll find yourself ordering this again and again. It wasn't too sweet but sweet enough to easily go through 2 or 3 of these plates if you're crazy enough. Banana Walnut Honey Bread - the best for last! I really loved eating brick toast growing up. There were so many stores back in the day that sold them, and now I can't find them as easily. In fact, Caffe Bene is the only place in the South Bay that I know that sells them. This one brought me back to the past and put a gigantic smile on my face. Delicious, perfectly sweet, balanced, and finished wanting more. Highly recommend!

Great Demand, But Poor Convenience for Working Customers…read more I've had The Nook's mushroom coffee before. My best friend took me here on a weekend afternoon, and even then there was a line, although it was manageable and mostly stayed inside the shop. Because of that experience, I knew The Nook was popular, but I wasn't prepared for what I encountered on a weekday morning. I wanted to pick up a coffee before work, so I actually planned ahead. Before leaving home, I checked the mobile website expecting that, given the obvious demand, there might be an order-ahead option. Unfortunately, there isn't one. So I gave myself an additional 30 minutes specifically for parking, waiting in line, ordering, and waiting for the drink to be prepared. I figured that should be more than enough for a morning coffee pickup. I arrived around 7:30 AM, and as I walked toward The Nook from the south side of The Enclave, I could already see the line stretching out of the door and into the courtyard. I was honestly shocked. There were easily 15-20 people ahead of me. I decided to give it a fair chance and got in line. After 10 minutes, the line had barely moved. At that point, I walked out. I understand that popular businesses get busy, especially in the morning. But there is a difference between being busy and having a customer wait in a line of 15-20 people with virtually no movement at 7:30 AM, particularly when there is no mobile ordering or order-ahead option. For a coffee shop with this level of demand, I find the lack of an ordering system especially frustrating. If you're going to consistently have lines extending outside the business during the morning rush, there should be some way for customers who are trying to grab a drink on their way to work to order ahead. And that's really my issue: the customer experience doesn't seem designed for people who need coffee efficiently. If you're coming here on a weekend, have nowhere to be, or are willing to dedicate an unpredictable amount of time to waiting, you may have a completely different experience. But if you're trying to get coffee before work, I would strongly recommend accounting for significantly more time than you think you'll need -- or having a backup plan. I no longer work as close to The Nook, and I don't drink coffee after noon, so I don't have much reason to make a special trip. Unless I'm conveniently nearby and see little to no line, I won't be making another attempt anytime soon. The Nook clearly has a loyal following, but popularity shouldn't come at the expense of basic convenience. If the demand is consistently this high, the ordering process needs to catch up with it.
