There's always a line when I visit them but again, that's expected if they're very popular! A crowd is a good sign! The line moves fairly quick which is so awesome of the staff. They've always been welcoming and professional. The first few times I've visited, I had a few questions about the drinks and the cashier was knowledgeable and suggested drinks. I love a friendly convo! FFC also has some pastries available! They always look so fresh and good! I've tried a few like the croissants and cookies! Never disappoint! I found my favorite drink from FFC--the signature matcha with matcha foam! It's one of theeee best in the southbay area! Definitely on my top 3! First Flight Coffee just opened this past week and already feels like a great addition to Torrance then another boba shop. They're serving both coffee and matcha, and their matcha is the real deal--ceremonial grade, smooth, and flavorful. I ordered the First Flight Matcha, which came topped with a light cream that balanced perfectly with the earthy matcha flavor. Since opening, the lines have been pretty long, but I was surprised at how quickly they moved--I didn't have to wait nearly as long as I expected. Super delicious matcha! Glad to see a good matcha place in Torrance. Located at the corner of Sepulveda blvd and cresnshaw blvd where Ding Tea used to be. I love the wood interior. I got the iced strawberry matcha latte ($6.50) and a brownie ($4.50). The strawberry in the drink taste uniquely different from other places which is good. Matcha was very rich and good quality. Brownie was good but weird texture. It was super moist and squishy. But it was super sweet and super chocolatey which i like. Brownie size is huge for the price. Interior is nice. They sell stickers, apparel, drink ware, etc. Staff is friendly. Would recommend here! What's not good here is parking lot is tiny and this places closes at 5pm which is early. Been here twice now and each time it just gets better. I really love the very friendly environment of this place. Every time I've walked in I've been greeted, which is nice because some places you walk in and they're so busy making the drinks that they don't have time to turn around and say hello. Losing count on the numbers of Matcha drinks I have tried in past few weeks. Lol. Everything's just turning green recently with the hype. The South Bay didn't wanna be missed out, and here's another new comer. Wasn't expecting at all the crowd would be this big. The line went up to the entrance door during weekend and you could see them constantly making more drinks. They had some seats at the front and more at the back. Nice thing's most of the guests were just grabbing stuffs for to-go or spending few minutes and not like hanging forever so the turnaround was quick. Not surprising, the cream top ones being the crowd's favorite, either the cold brew or Matcha. I'd say, as I tried more now, my benchmark might have gotten higher and higher LOL. I got their First Flight Matcha, which you might have rightly guessed was their version of Matcha Latte with Matcha cream top. Get pretty busy due to influx of people wanting to try this out Love how they conveniently opens at 7am They have the nicest staff, I got helped by Laica and she was very accommodating. Also happened to be one of my favorite r&b artist. Yall should definitely check her work out. Matcha is good. It's always so exciting when you discover new coffee shops in your area. The drinks were sooo good!! Will be going back again to try the rest of their menu. The workers were so nice and overall despite the line they had, my drinks ready quick. It's on the smaller side for a cafe if you're looking for a spot to study but there's seating in the back part of the store as well. This new coffee shop opened up in Torrance ! It's so close to my pottery studio had to check it out!! they have a good size parking lot! The the coffee shop is super new, so be patient with the baristas The space is nice has seating in the front and if you walked down the hallway, there's also seating in the bag. Good space to meet up with a friend and catch up or work! The space is very very bright and has a cozy feel. They sell their own merch and Matcha as well. When I went, there was quite a crowd inside. I guess everyone was very excited to support their local coffee shop. The employees were nice and friendly and greeted everyone who walked in. I ordered the Matcha flight with oat milk ! It came out with a bit of a wait, Matcha was amazing!! Very similar Stagger and ROK! But this is even closer to me so yay! The foam top was so thiccc and creamy, it had a good Matcha flavor and the latte itself had a great Matcha flavor with umami notes ! Tried this new coffee shop near me that replaced a boba shop here. If a place has a signature drink I always like to try that the first time I go. Strangely they don't have a signature iced latte so my wife got me the signature cold brew. It was good but not better than an iced latte. Yeems in Gardena still holds the title for that. I decided to try this coffee shop on a Sunday morning and there was a solid line already forming around 10am to the point I had to wait outside until the line died down. I ordered the First Flight Matcha and usually I am not a fan of double matchas because I think it's too creamy, but this one was very good! I was the only one ordering so i don't see why. My go to is their signature matcha flight. I ordered a matcha latte recently and I didn't know adding sweetener was an additional charge. I printed my receipt and saw the drink came up to 7$. I dont mind but would've been good to know, I wasn't told about it. At that price I could've ordered the another matcha flight instead. I saw some great photos online and wanted to try first flight. There was a parking lot with lots of spaces available right out front which was convenient. They offered me to pick my choice of milk for my drink and were able to make it unsweetened as well. I really wanted to try their first flight matcha. They had five people working behind the counter so my drink came out in almost no time. the matcha was rich and I was glad it was unsweetened so I could really taste the flavor. Their bakery case had some good looking croissants so I will have to try that another time. This place was definitely popular there was a non stop stream of people coming in and out for their caffeine. The matcha has a nice smooth and earthy taste that I enjoy, but I would definitely recommend trying the first flight matcha first as the other flavored matcha drinks can kinda of mask the taste although they are still very good! It may take a while to order but the baristas are rather quick when making drinks so you won't have to wait too long to get them. First Flight Coffee is a sort of new neighborhood coffee shop located in the Shinhan Bank parking lot off Crenshaw Blvd. The cafe itself is small and boasts a clean minimalist design with a friendly team behind the counter. The drinks are a bit on the milder side, but they are freshly made to order (even with pickup orders). I think they are still working on perfecting their drink menu, but it is decent. I'm sure the team is willing to make adjustments as needed. There is limited seating inside and the ambience is generally quiet. Both the Iced Americano and Iced Hazelnut Latte were good. Stopped by First Flight in Torrance and ordered a cortado, which was solid and well made - nice balance and easy to drink. I also had a matcha, ordered without any of the extra cream toppings, and I really liked it. The matcha was strong and good tasting, with a clean flavor that wasn't overly sweet. I tend to prefer matcha without all the added creams and sugar, and this one hit the mark for me. The space itself is on the smaller side with limited seating, but they do have a nice area in the back with a couch. The staff was friendly and welcoming, which is always important to me.
