Made an appt online and was welcomed immediately when I walked in. My request was for a acrylic balance. I had Nina work on my nails and she did a fabulous job with them. She was a pleasure to spend time with. They many color choices. The location was convenient and clean inside. I'm happy I went and will definitely return! Update: tried the NextGen nails and I love them. Attached is a photo. Choose your colors. Cost is more but I was told they are healthier and lasts longer. I like them so far. read more

I know I have another review of this place somewhere else so this would be my updated review. I was recently here and of course I was coming for a long time because of good customer service that I was not really getting at any other nail salon in the Columbus area, even on my wedding day of all days. So I came here and usually do the pedicure because I don't like mani's after my wedding experience of the gel manicure in a place in Upper Arlington. Most people know where I'm talking about but I did not go back and re-write that review. What I know true about my nails is that I cut them very short which makes salons go crazy when they have to do the pedicure. Although this time I think I grew it out for them. The only issue was my big toe got cut because she was digging to hard into the side of the nail. If you see blood you know that you've hurt someone isn't it obvious? So this was going on for about an hour before she could even apply the nail polish onto my nails. It was a big mess and I was trying to act like it's okay I'm not in pain when I truly wanted to get out and leave. I know I was paying for a cheap price for the pedicure and every service I've ever done there but there is quality over quantity. If the quality of the service is not up to par with what your coming for. From now on I will grow out my nails but I will not continue coming back here because it's not close and I really don't want to go through this again. I have plenty of other salons by where I live that I can go to besides the one in Upper Arlington I'm now trying to avoid like the plague. read more

I've been coming here for a while and each time have a great experience. I almost always end up with a same day appointment and they are sooo accommodating. I am a licensed nail tech and could spot a state board violation from a mile away, but they do such a good job of keeping everything clean that I feel at ease every time I'm here. read more

However, earlier this week I got a gel manicure and some of my nails have already started to crack and pop off. Very disappointing and not worth the money. The salon is filthy and I could have sworn I saw some debris on their files. I was getting gel nails done and the young girl doing my nails simply scraped the polish off and stuck the file back in the basket. Um...I thought you were supposed to throw those out. She then used the same file on another customer! Disgusting! I also wanted to get a pedicure but after seeing their pedicure tubs....I hesitated and thought "No." There was some questionable substance on their tubs and I did not want to take the risk. This salon needs to be shut down. I can't believe they get away with doing this to customers. read more

Horrible. I have been going to SpaZ for a few months now, Betty typically did my acrylics pretty well. However, today I came in for a balance and had a horrible experience. I had an appointment at 4:00, and ended up waiting until 4:20 when the owner eventually called me over. I asked if I would need a balance or a full new set because two of my nails were slightly cracked. She recommended a full new set so I said OK. She proceeded to fill, buff and file. Then she said she was using pink powder instead of the white because it's more durable. Halfway through another one of her other appointments came in. She rushed through the rest of my appointment. My nails were chunky and thick on the ends when I specifically asked for thinner. I wanted rounded square and they ended up being dangerously sharp on the ends. Then I was kicked out of her station. When I went to pay she said she charged me extra for the pink powder ( which I didn't ask for in the first place) and added more for fixing nails and for the extra length ( which made no sense they arent even long; and a full set includes all nails) I ended up paying over $55 for a full set of acrylic's with just normal polish (no gel or anything) Worst experience I will never go back. read more

This was my first visit here and was looking for a relaxing pedi and almost walked out in disgust. The pedi itself was good, especially for the price. Water was too hot, but the woman adjusted it quickly. While having my feet cleaned up, I noticed a young girl, about 10 years old, helping around the salon; bring polish to the workers, taking trays to the back room, small tasks like that. No big deal...right? Until they got VERY busy and my technician left my station to work on someone else and had the girl paint my nails. EVERY COAT. What??? I came for a professional pedi, not for a child (literally) to do it. When something was said to the technicians, they seemed confused as to why it was unacceptable for a child to help out. This was one of the most uncomfortable afternoons I've had. Will never go back a plead with folks to boycott as well. Shame on you, Spas Nails for using children to make a buck. read more
