I have tried all the different meats, vegetables, and cheeses and have never experienced a change in quality. The one issue is the variability in terms of portions. On one visit, you might get a monster burrito that you would happily pay $15 for and the next time you might get one that does not even seem to be worth $5; the actual cost is around $12. The service is impressive! Everyone is friendly and I seldom have issues with the accuracy of my order. Also, the inside of the building is very clean. The location is not old, but they do a good job of always having a top-notch presentation from an aesthetic standpoint. It is not cheap, but nothing is these days. A couple side notes I appreciate. Bittersweet's marketing team deserves. Ton of credit - they have some awesome swag available for purchase. Also, this is a Christian oriented cafe with bible verses, messaging, and music. Love it! And finally, check out the story about Bittersweet's roots, its commitment to addiction recovery/support, and the owner's son's story/passing. The same Iron Star that owns Coffee Tree shops. If this coffee is any indication, I think I need to visit Coffee Tree again. It's been a while. Anyway, I had a really good cup of coffee and a peanut butter and jelly cookie. No complaints on the cookie, but I wish they had some breakfast sweets like scones or cinnamon rolls. This bakery is located in what appears to be a small development of townhomes with a handful of storefronts. The inside has a large ordering area with plenty of baked goods displayed behind glass, along with an equally spacious seating area. They also had a number of card games available, and my wife and I enjoyed playing one with our 4.5-year-old twins. On this morning I decided to go with an iced brown sugar cinnamon latte while my wife chose an iced pistachio latte. My daughter picked out a sprinkle sugar cookie, my son chose a blueberry Pop-Tart, and my wife and I split a crème brûlée-filled croissant. I'll start with the baked goods, which were excellent. The croissant was buttery and flaky, and you could clearly see the lamination throughout it. The filling reminded me of a cream puff with its rich, creamy texture and flavor. To complete the crème brûlée theme, it had large pieces of caramelized sugar on top that added a satisfying crunch and really made the pastry live up to its name. My son's blueberry Pop-Tart also had a great flavor with plenty of blueberry filling inside, and my daughter loved her sprinkle sugar cookie. As far as the baked goods were concerned, they were easily five stars. The coffee was good, although it didn't quite reach the same level as the pastries. My latte had a nice balance between the brown sugar and cinnamon syrup and the espresso. Thankfully the coffee wasn't overpowered by the flavoring, and while it was certainly enjoyable, it wasn't quite as memorable as the baked goods. My wife also enjoyed her latte, especially the pistachio flavor. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. My family loved the baked goods, and we all thought the coffee was good as well.
