Ok. A standard diner experience. Table had country fried steak - large portion and lots of sides. Also had a California Benedict - eggs poached just right but avocado was not ripe enough. Also had Mediterranean wrap with grilled chicken - was ok. Service was good and ambiance is very dated.

First time here, after googling best breakfast in Enola. Glad I didn't see the Yelp score before showing - don't know why it's rated ! I had a great experience! Came in early Friday, place was less than 20% full, multiple staff members greeted me and I got seated immediately. Was greeted promptly, got my drinks quickly, menu felt simple & easy to read, which allowed me to place my order right away. The waitress seemed to know some of the regulars and was casually table-checking. The food was great. Hot, large portion. I'm leaving full. I always check a place's country fried steak as my first thing to try from a new breakfast joint I haven't been to -- I'll have to stop by here again next time I'm in Enola. Quick, friendly service.. hot tasty food that filled me.. for under 20$? Can't beat it. I'll be recommending

I arrived famished for lunch!!! I was told there was a shift change but saw only one other staff member come in. Anyway service was quick and friendly by Shanon. We got a sea and turf platter with steak, stuffed flounder with crap, mash, Cole slaw, crab soup. Also ordered broccoli and cheese stuffed chicken breast with string beans, mash and salad, a cup of crab soup. The steak was well seasoned but not cooked right. It needed to be cooked in higher heat to get the fats browned. The mash needed salt and a bit of butter. The crab soup was better when we added half n half to drown down the salt. A bit of butter would've helped to! The salads where basic just baby mixed greens, grape tomatoes, red onions and a few cucumbers. I asked for oil and vinegar, I got a bit of old vinegar. I wasn't sure if it was old red wine or old balsamic maybe watered down. I looked old or dirty. The oil was a small amount as well. If a customer asks for oil and vinegar and you're going to bring that little caddy don't you think it should be refilled before you bring it to the table? Anyway the flounder stuffed with crab meat was ok. It would've been better if stuffing had a bit of butter and lemon rind in it. The top of flounder was dry and it should've had a butter crumb on top sprinkled with dill and olive oil drizzle. The string beans were fresh out of a can. Low sodium but no other flavor. It could use some garlic powder and cumin. It was like eating at a hospital. The bathrooms need to be cleaned. There's dirt on walls, baby changing table, faucets, cabinets, doors, floors. The chairs in dinning hall look like they have layers and layers of dirt. The blinds all need to be wiped clean some have dried food bits. It was so gross! First and last time I'll come here. Thank goodness our waitress Shannon was great she's the only reason this got two stars!

Let me set the stage.. we walk in and no one even greets us.. waitresses are standing around talking with each other and no one is paying attention to the front. A table busser is standing behind the bar counter eating butter from the little butter packets. This should have been enough to turn right around and leave but we were hungry and heard the food was good.. wrong! The waitress was nice and got our drinks right away.. then we sat.. coffee was mediocre, water was tap and we waited. Food came.. steak was raw, Benedict was over cooked and cold, pancakes had hair in them.. hair!! That's when we were told our bill had been comped and we left. We did tip the waitress as it wasn't her fault.. won't be back

I got the roasted chicken breast that was dry and hardly edible. This was the second time that the food was subpar.

I found myself back at the Glass Lounge recently, and while this technically wasn't my first visit,…read moreit was my first time there in a long while. I vividly remember going here as a kid for "special occasion" dinners--birthdays, anniversaries, moments when sweatpants were absolutely not acceptable. Fast forward to adulthood, and this visit was brought to you by rain, traffic, and hunger-induced decision making. To set the scene: Glass Lounge was not the plan. The plan was dinner at the Farm Show. Unfortunately, so was everyone else's plan. After sitting in traffic for nearly an hour without moving--and watching my hunger escalate to a dangerous level--I declared, "I'm starving," which immediately forced a pivot to Plan B...which we did not have. I quickly brainstormed something close enough to escape starvation but far enough from Farm Show chaos to actually get fed. Enter: the Glass Lounge, swooping in like a hangry hero. We arrived around 4pm on a rainy January Saturday and walked into a bar area that was absolutely packed. My concern level rose slightly when the hostess asked if we had reservations, but I quickly noticed the dining room was only about half full. Crisis averted. We were seated at a booth tucked nicely out of the way, which is exactly where I like to eat when I'm one inconvenience away from becoming unpleasant. Adventure Buddy ordered his usual Old Fashioned, and I wisely chose a Diet Coke, knowing full well that alcohol + extreme hunger = either immediate regret or an accidental nap. We skipped appetizers because this was not a "let's casually snack" situation--this was a feed us immediately situation. I ordered the Tuna Salad Sandwich with Sweet Potato Fries ($9), and Adventure Buddy went all-in with a filet mignon and shrimp, plus applesauce and coleslaw ($50). Despite the dining room filling up fast, our food came out surprisingly quickly, and we dug in like we hadn't eaten in days. I'm pretty picky about tuna salad, so this was a bit of a gamble--but WOW, the Glass Lounge nailed it. The tuna salad was perfectly balanced: not watery, not dry, generously portioned, and seasoned just right. Honestly one of the better tuna salad sandwiches I've had locally. And the sweet potato fries? Outstanding. Crispy, fry-like perfection--not those limp, sad sweet potato imposters you so often get elsewhere. Get them. Do not question it. Adventure Buddy gave rave reviews for his steak, which was cooked exactly to the medium-rare he requested, and the shrimp vanished almost instantly. The coleslaw was creamy without being soupy (a true win), and the applesauce deserves its own moment. Restaurant applesauce is usually pulverized into oblivion for denture-less seniors or children who can't be trusted with texture. Not here. The Glass Lounge boldly serves chunky applesauce, lightly cinnamon-spiced and delightful. I respect the confidence. I absolutely could not leave without dessert and ordered a slice of their homemade peanut butter pie--a decision I will never regret. It was piled high with rich peanut butter filling and whipped cream and immediately became the star of my evening. Adventure Buddy moved far too slowly and only managed a bite or two before I demolished it... and seriously considered ordering a second slice. For around $100, we ended up with a fantastic, totally unplanned early-bird-style dinner. The service was excellent--quick, friendly, and attentive--and by the time we waddled out, the dining room was nearly full. When our original plans completely failed us, the Glass Lounge stepped up and saved the evening...and probably several people within a 5-mile radius from my hangry mood. One final pro tip: don't panic if the front lot is full--there's plenty of parking behind the building. Glass Lounge may not have been the plan, but it turned out to be exactly what we needed!

This is the newer location, pretty views of the river, outside seating available. Service was Very nice! They were friendly, taking time to make recommendations and go over their very large menu. Prices were very fair. That chicken parm plate was like $12! I loved everything except the bread (too thick for my taste) and coffee (too sweet and not strong enough) but I think this is my personal taste. I saw many enjoying the bread and coffee outside. The pastries are an absolute MUST try here! I felt like I was in south Philly with their cookie collection and cannoli. We bought several to try and regret not grabbing more to go home! They have monthly BYOB dinners that have a prix fixe menu for $60-$65, menu differs from what they have available regularly and there's a harpist that plays? If I was around for the next one on 10/18, I would def go!

I've previously enjoyed breakfast at the Green Street location (Sausage & Sun-dried tomato…read moresandwich) and lunch (The Dom) at the Front Street location. Both were delicious! On Friday, I stopped by the Front Street store to try their lunch special lasagna and stuffed meatballs. The lasagna was not available and was substituted for a short pasta in red sauce with mozzarella stuffed meatballs. I ordered two meals togo. The meatballs were not stuffed but did have a wet dog food consistency. The pasta while cooked well was swimming in what I can only assume was Spaghetti O's sauce. It had absolutely zero flavor. This was disappointing culinary experience and unfortunately couldn't eat either of the meals. Waste of $25.

We were seated pretty quickly, the waitress was nice and helpful, and I thought my mini cheeseburgers were good. They tasted like they were made on the grill which is always good. Now to the stuff that wasn't as good from my husband's and my perspective. The fries weren't too bad. The soup that my husband got was a bit odd and more like a cup of gravy with chicken and spinach. It was something like the creamy chicken and spinach soup. It didn't taste too bad but was a really thick consistency which more resembled gravy. My husband did not like his open faced roast beef sandwich. It was extremely dry and didn't taste good. The brown gravy on that was also an odd consistency and didn't help enough to make the roast beef edible. He had to primarily eat the fries and bread. It's a super old school diner. Breakfast may be better.
