    Roast Beef and Havarti

My sweet waitress Megan recommended the Roast Beef and havarti... something I would not have ever ordered. It was so delicious. The restaurant is very calm and chill. ( lunch time)

The food was good, very filling. We could've split the quesadillas and been filled up just fine. I thought service was okay. Courtney was our server this time but she brought the receipts pretty early on into the meal, which made me feel like we were supposed to leave soon. Ambiance is fine. They seemed to get pretty good business.

First watch was pretty good; the menu is extensive and there are many healthy options. The fresh juices were delicious. The elevated egg sandwich was missing arugula, but otherwise everything was great. Service was excellent!

Horrible treatment by staff. We got off the highway in Myrtle BeSch really hungry and needing coffee to be met outside in front by hostess to be turned away as they we're hosting a special event for friends and family of the owners Whick seems snooty and prideful. We will never go there again. We drove right down the road toThe Waffle House and they were do friendly and welcomed us with opened arms, great food, super good coffee, great waitress! I guess First Wake is not aware of who is going to pay their bills!

I left a bit underwhelmed. First, very slow service. I needed milk for my coffee - it was cold before the milk came. The latte was one of their specials. It was too sweet for us. My omelette wasn't terrible; it's just that they didn't dice up the game and cheese. It was literally super fluffy eggs wrapped around a huge chunk of ham and a huge block of cheese. It wasn't terrible by any means, but it also wasn't special. No one finished their plate.

We came here on Saturday morning and it wasn't too crowded. The servers were quick and food was great. I like the look inside as well as outdoor seatings.

Yummmm! This breakfast joint was right outside our hotel so we decided to give it a try. It was moderately busy, but our party of two were sat immediately. Our server was very kind. The restaurant itself is clean, nicely decorated and smells great as you can taste french toast in the air! The food even came out faster than we thought it would! Speaking of which we got the banana foster French toast and it tasted great! My favorite being the avocado toast though! Very lite and refreshing! My husband killed his Al pastor plate so that speak for itself. Definitely try this place out!

Amazing and quick breakfast option in Cary, NC. We went for breakfast while in town and first watch has something for everyone. If you like pancake, omelets or anything in between, they have something for you. There is ample seating (mostly booths or half and half set ups) with great lighting and a chill atmosphere. We had Joe as our server, who was so very nice and attentive. The price was nice and we were able to get some brunch cocktails to go with our meal as well. In all, if you are in the area stop in, but note they close at 2pm daily.

    Shrimp and Grits
    Adria S.

We got shrimp and grits, the classic Benedict, and a kids egg and sausage. All of our food came out quickly, but it was lukewarm. I asked for an over medium egg to go over the grits and it was hard. The point was to let the yolk mix into the grits. The grits themselves weren't creamy at all. Rather dry and crumbly. No one came to ask how it was until we checked out. No thank you!! Not with the cost of this food!

This is my daughters favorite breakfast restaurant and in my top three. My go to is Floridian French toast which has a nice amount of fruit and I generally have leftovers. Real plus is during nice weather is the outdoor patio where we often bring our dogs with us. Enjoy Floridian French Toast, Elevated Egg Sandwich.

So we pulled off, took out the trusty Yelp app, and this place popped up. Pulling it, it was clear that they were popular and busy. We went in and there was a wait, about 15 minutes. We decided to hang around instead of worrying about "making good time" and are glad we did. Once we got a seat, we received great service. Our server always kept our drink full, and checked on us just enough. We never felt like we were searching for her. Looking at the menu, I was surprised to see that the prices were not unreasonable, even though it's a very trendy place. in fact, they had a $10ish lunch menu available with a few selections that even included a drink. I was more in a lunch mood so I went that direction, and got a buffalo chicken sandwich with fries. Food came out hot and in a reasonable time even with a full restaurant, so this is a well oiled machine. For the price, I was pretty impressed. I would say the sandwich was about the size of your average CFA chicken sandwich, but had a bold buffalo flavor that I liked a lot. They didn't skimp on the fries, and the ranch complemented it perfectly. We finished up and our server was on top of things getting us the check, so really we still made "good time" on our drive to the coast. I would recommend Brunches to travelers and locals alike!

The bakery case alone is worth a stop: cannoli, cranberry almond muffins, strawberry streusel coffee cake, cinnamon rolls, brownies, and a rack of croissants. They knew what to flag, what could be adjusted, and made the whole process easy without turning it into a long Q&A session. It's a small space inside, but there's plenty of outdoor seating, which helps a lot when the weather cooperates. Atmosphere leans more relaxed and social than family-focused--probably not ideal for small kids--but it's a great pick for meeting friends or a casual outing with a partner (or someone you're hoping becomes one). I'm on a quest to find the best Dirty Martini in the area and this is in contention. I ordered the burger and my husband got the shrimp and grits. We'd say they were "fine". Neither the meat nor shrimp were seasoned. That said they were cooked well. The grits were well done and the relish was on target. The fries were also fantastic. Let's not overlook the tomato soup - it's so rich and flavorful. For a lighter lunch my go to is the tuna panini with broccoli salad. They are known for their boards, I've not had the bruschetta yet but it looks delicious. My favorite board is the hummus. One thing I hate is when a restaurant gives you a big bowl of hummus and not enough pita. That is not the case here, you'll get pita, toasted bread, and a variety of vegetables to scoop up the velvety humus covered in cherry tomatoes, red onion and feta. For date night enjoy a Violet Femme a gin cocktail that tastes as lovely as it looks. The service here is top notch! Everyone is fantastic.
