    New fall menu!
    Veronica N.

A fun breakfast spot that we love going to. We came to the Chandler location today because we had never been to this one. It's nice and airy and a very cute farm fresh design. Service was quick and very friendly. The music was fun and upbeat. We got a chorizo and eggs with a side of multigrain pancake, along with a BLT and decaf coffee. Everything was delicious and the portions are nice and large. We had to take some to go. We will definitely be back!

Vannessa was our server and was really great. Her service was excellent and I would definitely just be coming back for her and the food. We got something off of the summer menu as well, and it was delicious. Thanks!

Visiting from Vegas, I wanted to try what Arizona had to offer for breakfast/ brunch. I was very impressed. For my 1st cup of coffee, to the last bite of the million dollar potatoes. The lemon ricotta pancakes were amazing. Highly recommend. And the breakfast sandwich with the avocado on a brioche bun, OMG. Our server, Steven was very kind and attentive. I would definitely recommend and I will definitely be back.

New Sunday routine after everyone finishes their workout in the mornings. For the most part, we as a family are unplugged until I pull out my phone to capture food photos. The atmosphere is always good and they have seating outside in the pack. Service we've had the last few times has been great and the food comes out pretty quickly. This last go-round, we had BLT Benedict, Chocolate Chip Pancake w/fruit, 2FY Soup & Sandwich, and for me the Bacado Omelet. The one issue I keep having is fountain drinks need more carbonation. We request 2 fountain drinks each time and they are semi-flat. (We end of with lemonade.) Paying online is easy and quick from the table or you head to the register when heading out. Good consistent food & service as of late! See u next Sunday!

    Cute half and half jars.

There was a bit of a wait but I like that they text you when it's your time. I had the bacado and it was excellent. Great customer service! Easy to pay on your phone.

I always enjoy brunch at First Watch. They have several vegetarian options. My go-to is the Triathlete. Love that I can have egg whites for a healthier option. And the breakfast potatoes are always delicious. I try to not eat all of them in the restaurant and take some home for later but it's not easy! This location was like the other locations I've been to - open, airy, clean. The staff was very nice, as they tend to be at First Watch. Good East Valley location if you want reasonably priced brunch food!

It's a great brunch place that our friends recommended near the mall in Kildeer! The place was very clean and the service was great too! I had the power wrap and it delicious! The sun-dried tomato basil tortilla was soft and the egg white was cooked perfectly! I would definitely go back and try other entrees!

    The juices here are excellent

I feel like I was making healthier choices whenever I ate here. The portion was smaller but packed with flavors! People who work here at any location were attentive

Had an amazing time First Watch. I was seated right away and the server was pretty attentive to my needs. The menu had a variety of options, ranging from healthy quinoa breakfast bowl to the classic trifecta with eggs, pancakes, and your choice of breakfast meat. I got the elevated egg sandwich and one ricotta lemon pancake. The sandwich was very tasty and the lemon ricotta lemon pancake wasn't too sweet. The ambiance was very lively and would be a good spot for a brunch date.

Skillet Hash Parma with over medium eggs. So good and already mixed the egg in lol.

Recommend: Yes Service: Good. They were nice Food: Always yummy Recommendation: Skillet Hash Parma Ambience: Great ambience, feels somewhat like farm-like with wooden seats. First Watch has become of my favorite breakfast place. I love their skillet hash. I usually pick the skillet hash parma because I like the sausages. I usually also get my eggs done over medium where it's gooey runny but not watery-like. They have great morning drinks as well. And avocado toast is always a great healthy choice. I have also tried their biscuit and gravy before too and that's always delicious.

The service stood out immediately--our server was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything arrived quickly and exactly as ordered. The food itself was hearty and satisfying. The steak breakfast was cooked well and paired perfectly with the traditional breakfast sides. The Shasta Scramble was flavorful and filling, and the drinks were kept refreshed throughout the meal. Everything came out hot and well prepared, showing the kitchen clearly takes pride in consistency. What made the visit especially enjoyable was the combination of comfort-food portions, efficient service, and a laid-back diner environment. It felt like the kind of place where you can settle in, enjoy a solid meal, and leave happy. A great stop for a dependable, satisfying breakfast in Chandler.

Always hoping a local recommendation turns out great. *Service: the service was fair. Our waitress spent most of the time sitting in the booth across from us on her phone and checked in occasionally. A few times we had to ask for things we needed. Nothing rude, just not especially attentive or engaged. Definitely didn't feel like her #1 priority. *Food: I ordered the tuna *melt*. It was alright, but nothing to write home about. The tuna itself was relatively cold (should have been warm on a melt) and lacked flavor, the cheese wasn't melted (it's a "melt", right?), and the bread was good. I dipped and drenched in salt, pepper, ranch and hot sauce to give it some flavor. The fries were good, hot and tasty. Overall, it felt like a mid-level café sandwich made by a basic "cook", not a well curated restaurant sandwich. My lunch buddy ordered a smothered omelette that looked great, and he said it was very good, so that was good. *Ambiance: the atmosphere was decent. Very basic, a bit cold feeling, café-like, casual, and reasonably comfortable. Nothing stood out strongly other than it seemed pretty clean and bright. *Value: my tuna melt and fries, with no drink, was $16. Not great, not terrible. It felt like an $8-$10 sandwich max for what I got, not a standout value. I posted a picture of their specials board so you can get a feel for the value. *Overall: everything here was fair, food, service, and ambiance while value was not great. Nothing bad, nothing memorable. A three-star experience for me. I wouldn't rush back, but wouldn't avoid it if I was in the area and others wanted to go. *Update: I have a strong reputation for detailed, honest, and trustworthy reviews. What we experienced is accurately and honestly captured in this review. There were no misunderstandings, our experience is captured exactly as reviewed. First impression: a bit confused I asked the gentleman working behind the counter if breakfast was served all day, and he responded by telling me they had already shut down the ovens for the day (and this was @ 6:30, and they didn't close till 7:00) so you say the cafe is open until 7:00, but people can't order food? The worker told me that I could only order a shake or a prepackaged food to go ... I am also not a huge fan of all the changes that have been made to the menu - I prefer some consistency, especially regarding some of my favorite items that used to be offered here. I ended up trying the bodybuilder shake with chocolate flavoring and peanut butter & banana ... It was good, but I wa disappointed that I was not able to order actual food, and last time I talked to a manger about this very same issue he explained to me that they are not supposed to shut down the grill/oven early (they are supposed to wait until close) .... Sooooo ???? I used to like coming here, but not if things close down early and I can't rely on the listed open hours ... I have seen this issue with lifetime workers before ... trying to close down the cafe early and refusing to make members food during the open hours. This has seriously got to stop. I hope the management sees this review and takes care of this issue because the cafe not only loses out on sales, but it's frustrating/annoying as a member to deal with lazy workers who just want to get out of work right on time instead of doing their job. The prices here are moderate, and as I mentioned in this post ... Staff here can be hit or miss. Sometimes they are good and great, other times they are nice, but slackers deep down ... The facility itself is very nice - clean, comfortable, and offers plenty of options when workers aren't claiming that its policy to turn off ovens/grills waaay prior to closing time ... I will try it out again to see if this issue has been resolved ... Be on the look out for my update ;)

From the moment we walked in, it felt like we were an inconvenience rather than welcomed guests. There was a group of servers standing around chatting, and no one acknowledged us for several minutes. After being seated, it took about 10 minutes before a server came over just to offer water and ask about drinks. We placed our drink order, and while the coffee came in a carafe, it wasn't even hot. The rest of the drinks trickled out later. Then it was another 20+ minutes before the server came back to take our food order. We ordered two simple build-your-own breakfasts and an Ultimate Grilled Cheese (no fries), plus two Cobb salads to go. Nothing complicated--yet the food took a long time to come out. During that entire wait, our server never checked on us once. No updates, no refills, nothing. When the food finally arrived, we ate, and again--no check-in, no "how is everything," no refill offers. Eventually, she dropped the check off without a word. We had to remind her about the two Cobb salads we ordered to go. She said they'd be right out, and a couple minutes later they showed up with a revised bill. Before leaving, we checked the salads--and that was the final straw. For $18, they were basically side salads. No cheese, no grilled chicken, no avocado, no croutons, no green onions, and not even any hard boiled eggs--just iceberg lettuce, a few tomatoes, bacon, and ranch dressing. Completely unacceptable for what's supposed to be a Cobb salad. We waited at the table for about 5 minutes for someone to come back--no one did. So we went up front and stood there another 5 minutes while multiple staff members ignored us, continuing their closing routines. Not a single person asked if we needed help, and our server was nowhere to be found. At that point, we left the salads behind, paid for the rest of the meal, and walked out. Terrible service from start to finish, and the food quality didn't make up for it. We won't be back.
